Now I believe impressive food occurs in somewhere you don’t know, we finished all of them with pleasure and respect, for everyone, even you take a random pick on the menu, the chef’s intelligent can always emerge joy to your tongue. The chef seems so low key, he’s like a Michelin star chef but someone try not to be found, he cooked, at same time he served, he communicated leisurely and the food came out just on time. Pied Bleu has a seasonal menu bead on ingredients they have up-to-date, the chef will recommend! Tell him what you prefer or if you’re open to every flavor, close your eyes and pick one. You must going to miss Pied Bleu so badly when you recall the old Quebec!

Went for breakfast, delicious one indeed. We had: 1. Omelette on skillet with mushrooms and baked potato on side, so delicious 🤤 2. Pancakes on skillet with finger licking sauce, so so so delicious 3. French Toast 4. Vegetarian Sandwich, replaced meat with mushrooms Thank you for the lovely food, great service, accommodating vegetarian request and special mention for getting water bowl for our dog Romeo and having him 🐶❤️

The food was delicious! We had Guinea fowl that came with mouth watering mac and cheese. We also had the sausage plate to which you can choose to get either black pudding, white pudding or their homemade sausages. I personally wasn't impressed with the size and price of the platters (meat and cheese), but those are very popular here. Will definitely come back to try the brunch!

Pork lovers: you must try this place! Wonderful restaurant. Everything was homemade including the bread, cheeses and smoked meats and sausages. Be sure to order the charcuterie. This was THE place to try boudin, and we did. Authentic Lyonnaise style country food. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this neighborhood gem.

The place is very homey and comfy. They are very kind in accommodating our kids (we have 5 kids in total). Even the menu doesn't show, they made the mac and cheese and smashed potatoes with ham for the kids. There's public parking right opposite the restaurant so it's very convenient! The owner is very friendly and nice to the locals. Probably he knows people around the area. The washroom is very clean too.

Boudin noir is very good, and the asparagus was done well - not overcooked. Liked the masked potatoes too. Glass of gamay wine was good with this - surprised to see sediments in the glass, but didn't detract. The place seemed full of boisterous locals, and I can see why. Service reminded me of Paris, but nicer.

Amazing charcuterie and cheese board. You get to have a great experience and taste of some of Quebec's specialties. Also, their mustard slaps.

This place feels like the kitchen of a real French grandmother and it’s amazing! The charcuterie plate had some interesting and good cuts of pate on it and the portions are huge! It’s nothing fancy, but a good home cooked style restaurant with things you probably can;t eat anywhere else

This place had the best food we ate while we were in QC! The vibe was very homey and everything we ordered was amazing (and big portions!). Highlights were the duck cassoulet and the eggs with cumin and cheese! All the meats were delicious as well, waiting for our next trip to go here again!

Delicious food, amazing service, and a wonderfully quaint ambiance. What more could you ask for?? My boyfriend and I had to roll ourselves out of the restaurant after the enormous brunch we had. There's a fill your own drip coffee station— and plot twist: the coffee's actually good! Even better, there's a toast station with the most delicious fresh bread, butter, and homemade jams (we can vouch for the blueberry vanilla one 👌). If I could give it 10 stars I would.

The waiter just bring our whole dinning experience to another level. He is hilarious and kind. Of course the food was good too. Homemade sausages and homemade sauce are really delicious. The veal and onion soup was really good too. The pear tart is not as good as the rum baba Typical French bistro flavour. Generous portion. Definitely recommend it. Only tiny bit to improve is the bread.

When you go to this restaurant, you must be very hungry for meat. Vegetable is a laugh in this restaurant. The atmosphere is very rustic. And the owner made it very well. Food (meat) is simple but amazing. At lunch time, coffee is free. I dont know if it is the same at evening. The staffs are super nice and super motivated when they describe the meal. Unless you want a vegetable meal.

The food was very good! We ate ordered the beef with local mushrooms and we also ordered the sausages. The sausages were not really my taste because of the outside layer but the beef was delicious! Happy new year everyone!

Nice place. They are good with the meats, but are not a kitchen. Reheating food in a steamer and then transferring into a scolding-hot cast iron pan is not home cooking. A pub may get away with it. Place is most visited for buying meats for take-out, and that seems what gets Pied Bleu the high ratings. The meat was very good.

Wow! What a meal. Absolutely delicious with incredible service to boot. We did the Tour Lyonnaise and it was a great sample of everything, and VERY filling!

Highly recommend. We had a lovely, lovely dinner! To start, we had such excellent bread and house made soft white cheese Marcel. Nice rose wine. Three of us ordered the rabbit, beef Bourguignon, and seafood cassoulet. Also had ratatouille, two kinds of potatoes, mashed and scalloped, and bread. We shared and tasted everything. My personal favorites were the beef (most tender and flavorful ever); the rabbit with its perfect sauce; and rich, flavorful scalloped potatoes. All dishes were so full of flavor and sauces were super. To make the meal even more enjoyable, the owner chatted with us often. Very, very nice guy, and he certainly can cook. We were too full for dessert so can't comment there, but I'd look forward to trying anything coming out of that kitchen. Enjoy!

Pls skip this place especially if you’re Asian. Rude and cold behavior from the chef. First the server insisted that we should go for buffet and we can get eggs , pancakes and French toast etc made on order in addition to the buffet which had only non vegetarian options except for potatoes, beans and some side salad. Now this was expected for a French cafe/restaurant based on our couple of days in Quebec , so no issues. But when we asked for a mushroom omelette the chef said they don’t have mushrooms, even though server explicitly mentioned if we ordered from ala carte menu there were dishes with mushrooms as accompaniments- wonder if they were out of mushrooms how were they going to fulfill those orders ! We ignored this and didn’t think much of it. Then considering me being vegetarian/eggetarian I had limited options, I decided to have a French toast to which the chef feigned ignorance as to what is French toast and that he doesn’t know or has heard about it !!!!! Considering I had gone through reviews before booking the place I knew they had served French toast to other customers , I knew now that chef was just being rude so we just decided to leave then. Of course after paying for two (me and my husband) breakfast buffets. My husband who tried non vegetarian didn’t have any great stuff to talk about the breakfast either. Like someone else said not sure who’s ratting this place, honest advice pls skip this one , there are many better places in Quebec with better food and more importantly where you’ll feel welcomed.
