As we were gusts in the hotel this restaurant was our first choice for breakfast, it was great! We had the Neptune Benne and the catch, both were amazing! Highly recommended. We also set outside two evenings for cocktails and snacks and it was a great experience as well, cocktails were very good! I must add that the service we got each visit (total 4 times) was exceptional, each server we faced was so nice, always smiling and helping us with the French. This place is highly recommended for the food, drinks and service 👍

I went this restaurant in a trip that my family and I had to Quebec City, I heard that this restaurant has the best fish and chips in town. So we decided to try it and I have to say honestly it was very tasty and delicious. The portion of one slice fish was really enough for one person and I think 2 slices is too much! There were 2 woman server very friendly. Service was quick!. And the ambiance was really nice blue design. Overall I am very happy to experience this restaurant :)

Went here for brunch, the three of us, and we were seated right away at 12:30 pm on a Sunday morning by a very welcoming host. I felt the setup to very modern and bright, with ample lighting come from their wide windows. Soft music and overall lower end of noise is how I'd describe the overall ambiance. We got straight to ordering and got some cocktails (Bloody Mary and Mimosa) which were great, followed by me trying out their Tofu Fish N' Chips - a brand new experience for me. The Tofu Fish N' Chips was an interesting experience for me with the first bite reminding me of how Fish N' Chips really taste, but the experience quickly went down because the Tofu had no natural flavor to offer to the rather unseasoned/bland batter, where normally, fish does add a decent amount of flavor. My only feedback - for this tofu dish is to either add some flavor to the Tofu itself or the batter! Service was quick and food arrived within half an hour which looked like a standard in Quebec City. In comparison to other restaurants in the area though, service was much quicker! Overall, a positive experience!

We went here for a lunch and the food was so delicious! My mom ordered a mordus which came with a coffee and a soup of the day! The portion first looked small but my mom told me it was enough for us! I ordered the mussel and fries and it was also tasty! It blended well with the blonde beer! The server was extremely kind and professional. Samuel was really nice and humorous! He made my mom smile a lot ☺️ My mom really complimented his kindness! 리뷰는 보지 않고 들어갔지만 분위기도 좋고 음식도 넘 맛있었어요!

We stayed at the Clarendon attached to the restaurant and was pleased to see the selection was not priced as though it were attached to an amazing hotel. Great decor, music, and ambience. Servers were accommodating and the food was fantastic. Must try the local Quebec beers on tap.

We were seated immediately on a busy Saturday evening! The Margheritas were nice and strong. Our waiter forgot to get his name was very friendly and pleasant. The food was out in no time. Definitely recommend the fish and chips and the shrimp roll! Great location as its not too far from Chateau Frontenac.

One of my must go restaurants while visiting Quebec, we weren't disappointed. The location is central. We were accommodated quickly. The appetizers and mains were all good. I enjoyed my swordfish steak dish 🐟 The servers were friendly. The ambiance was very nice. Love the blue color.

Had dinner here tonight! It was one of the greatest experiences we’ve had in the city so far. The staff were all very friendly, welcoming and polite! They provided us with an English menu and took the time to answer our questions. The soup of the day (broccoli & cream) was super delicious! The portion was great too. The fish and chips was very tasty and fresh! It came with a dip which was very unique! The fish was a bit greasy but doesn’t really impact our overall experience. The environment is super clean, well-designed and vibrant. All you would ask for in a tourist destination. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everyone!!!

Awesome place!!! Atmosphere and food were amazing! I am not a fan of jams but their raspberry jam is out of this world… it is a must try if you are around the area.

Tldr: meh It's an okay place. Some dishes are good, but some are terrible, hence the rating. For fried calamari.... it's really soggy, and I think it's even worse than some of the fast food joint. Chowder is okay. Lobster roll is meh, don't think its worth the price and all. Salmon tartar is awesome. Salmon was really fatty and flavourful, and it goes really well with some guac and chips. Service is not meh. They do care for you, but I think they are really under-staffed.

Probably the best poutine I've ever had. My friend was very happy with the veggie options Tofu'n'Chips. The staff were super friendly and the prices were reasonable. Great food. I will be coming back for sure.

Fun place. We appreciated the experience at Brasserie Les Mordus. Amanda was our server and she did a great job! We started with a drink each. Very good! Our appetizer was good. Calamari was not overcooked but the coating on others has been a little better. Our mains were very, very good. My wife had the paella and me the mussels/fries. Both were excellent. Great taste and good portion size. We enjoyed a great Greek wine and dessert was a great ending. I had the macaron and my wife enjoyed the pear/maple profiterole. Thanks again for a great experience. 👍

food was soo good!! definitely a little splurge place, but was worth it for a once in a while good meal :). the fish and chips were good, and the fish was fresh and the batter was thin and crispy!! the summer pasta was so fresh and delicious, not a huge portion though. same for the beef cheek, which was melt in your mouth tender but also a small plate of food. the beef tartare was so good and a huge portion, definitely worth!! didnt get to try out the drinks but they all looked totally delicious. our waiter was really sweet and we got our food super quickly!!

This restaurant locates in the hotel we stayed. I don’t like their food and the quality of the service. The pearl of the sea is purely a tiny bit of seafood mixed with vinegar and salad dressing. The other dish is totally over grilled. The table and the tableware are all in cheap quality.

Semi fine dining. Menu changes frequently for now. Looks like they are experimenting. Service is awesome. Ample seating/table spacing. Valet parking. Does not have a highchair but only a seat booster. Accepts credit and debit.

So I had ordered my first poutine here, the sea food one and it was the best decision of my life- it was delicious, much better than the original poutine for me (oops) 🇨🇦🍁🥶

I'm not usually a seafood eater but the food here was absolutely delicious. I tried the recommendations by my server; the chowder as a starter was sublime, some of the best soup I've eaten. Highly recommended. The seared fish was also wonderful, quality ingredients. The maple syrup pie was well made although slightly too sweet for me with the added syrup on top. The service was attentive and atmosphere was fun, would come back here.

Pros - food comes super quick. Interiors are insane. Cons - food is so meh for the price. Waiters and waitresses are pretty cold. It's definitely a tourist trap of sorts. There are better places .

Horrible food. All stale, heated up when you order and brought half an hour later. Breakfast has salad leaves that look like they were cut 3 days ago. French fries are sour with age. Bacon is smelly and fat. Worst food in the neighborhood. The restaurant looks very cute in the historical Clarendon hotel. Service is sweet. Food is pathetic.

This restaurant is situated right next to the Clarendon Hotel, we stopped there because we needed a quick breakfast in the morning. The service was impeccable, the interior design was very distinguished, very nice and appealing, but the breakfast menu wasn't that much wow! In fact, the seafood casserole lacked flavor and the eggs plate was just meh. Although, the raspberry butter was something... Maybe it would have been better to try their lunch or dinner menu.

Food was actually not bad. We had not eaten all day and when it came to were starved. Service however is slow and lacking. One server covered each side of the house which can have 10 tables at a time. Order quickly or you will wait a while. When we asked for dessert our server made a nasty comment “do you even have room?” Which made our entire night even less appealing.

That one extra star is for the pleasant gentleman who let us in with no reservation. We had a a young lady (Galadriel) on Saturday morning 21st august 2021 who was horrible. Very bad angry attitude and not friendly. only one knife for 3 of us and she put it on bare table and not a napkin. They brought us the wrong order first. Had to explain what we wanted couple of times to get through her unpleasant attitude. I asked for scrambled egg and they brought over easy. not good.

Food was good, service was abrupt. They rush you to take the order then make you wait to receive the food. Good location but it is not the only one in the area. Not recommended if you want to have a relaxing time.

The food was not very impressing, tartars are very good though, but 5 stars for the service à la clientèle. Friendly, welcoming and warm (it was rainy today). Excellent gin choice with plenty of local distillates!

The service, the food and the ambiance is amazing. We indulged in the seafood chowder, best we ever had. The fish and chips were wonderful. Book ahead when you go or you will miss out on amazing food. Thank you Brenda and Jack

We had for our breakfast main dish with entree and two children options. None of them was served with a beverage as given in the menu. We had to ask for additional plates and ustensils as the table were for four persons but ready for two only. The main one - l'îlot de l'avocat - had a lot of potatoes. So if you love, you'll get it much. Their cappuccino surprisingly leaves much to be desired. Having in mind the final bill with tips more than 80$, I'm going to look around for my today's breakfast.
