A small beach area with a playground, ice cream hut and plenty of parking. There are also availabilities for trailers.

Beautiful park with beautiful features in the holiday season. We went a few days ago and walked through the park. There were Christmas lights and Christmas decorations all over the park. Cute music was playing, creating such a sweet and romantic environment. Loved my visit. I want to go back!

Great little park by a body of water for equipment and swim play. Highly recommend getting one of the infamous walking tacos from food shack on site!

What a brilliant place. Great for families & anyone who wants to enjoy the river . Lots of seating , a play area & skate park... However, THE BEST is K & D's Ice cream parlour, serving the creamiest flavours ever invented. Also serves, Hot Dogs, Chilli Dogs etc... & The famous ," Walking Taco " is an absolute must . You gotta try it 😋

Great swimming area for the family, the water is shallow and the beach is beautiful. Nice playground for the kids.

Always so clean. Absolutely LOVE the volleyball area and that you play on sand. All sand is groomed and kept very well.

Great band. The Shadowz are excellent. Don't hang signs that hotdogs are for sale at one stall, only to find I had to line up again at the other stall. Sales need to be organized. I wasted half an hour in lineups.

Great place to have a large family gathering under the shelter on a very rainy day!

The city has created a lovely place to bring children or just go for a visit. Sit on the benches and enjoy the water, or if you're lucky, see the Osprey family flying by.

Cool place with a nice little beach front. I should warn you that we did see a 3ft long water snake while we were in the water... but apparently, they ain't venomous. I'm just saying.

Great small campground/park. Nice walking area along the canal or overlooking the river. The fireworks for Victoria Day were some of the best I have seen. Can't wait for next year!!

Small park on a beach right along the Trent River. Playground with swing set on site, as well. Lots of parking and 1 Porta-pottie near parking lot.

Icecream place is not the best. Single scoops are all different sizes. No other comments that I want to share here. There are better icecream shops around, go there instead.

Well maintained! Someone had spent some money over the last 10 years. The playground equipment is inviting, new skate board park and a splash pad close by. Very nice!!

Lovely little park. Went there to view their holiday lights. Everything was beautiful. Right on the water. There is a playground there as well. Picnic areas too. Bathroom facilities on site. Definitely going back there when the weather is warmer.

This park is lovely with a beach and playground for kids. Covered picnic shelter and skateboard park. Small snack bar with hotdogs, fabulous Kawartha Dairy ice cream etc. They have outdoor movies and concerts (check schedule).

Park has a nice beach, water is shallow, smooth rocky bottom. Playground and skate park to keep kids entertained. Park has free boat launch and is right next to lock 6 on Trent Severn Waterway.

It's beautiful and always kept clean (when taken care of by the guests as well.) I wish the play equipment had more shade for the little people on hot days, but all-in-all it's my son's favorite beach!

Nice place to visit.... Lots to do with your little ones. It has a small but cute beach. Also a playground, skate park, volleyball net, theatre stage, etc.. Let's not forget a small shop that sells ice cream for your sweet tooth and other savoury treats.

They have awesome musicians concerts, every Wednesday nights from 6 to 8. Great ice cream too at snack shack

Nice spot to cool off at. The river is shallow and slow moving so it was a perfect place to take my young granddaughters to splash in the water

The beach here is clean and the water is fairly shallow. My kids really enjoyed wading but there were many sharp rocks and shells in the water. There was even a tiny water snake much to my children's amusement! The volleyball area and small basketball court were a definite bonus. There are a lot of shady areas in which to Lounge. All in all definitely worth the drive.
