Beautiful place, Pleasant weather in June and July too.

Beautiful place up in the mountains. Weldone to the local authority for the set up of this park. Still needs to have few more things in place like a ticket counter etc. A humble request to all visitors , if you would like to visit this place again then please keep this park clean and take your rubbish (empty bottles, crisp packets, empty bags,fruit peels etc) with you to dispose off at home and please don't leave your garbage there in the car park.

A tourist resort 18 kilometers (11 mi) from the city of Rawalakot in Poonch District of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The zoo is surrounded by dense pine forest and mountains, which make it charming and romantic.The zoo is accessible by a metallic road from Rawalakot. The weather in the area remains cool in Summers and cold in Winter. In December and January snowfall also occurs here and the temperature falls to -5 °C. During Summer, the temperature remains 16 °C (61 °F) to 25 °C (77 °F). Rest houses and huts of AJK Tourism and Archeology Department, Pakistan Public Works Department and Pearl Development Authority are located here. A market is located 3 kilometer away in Chotta Gala town where all the basic necessities of life are available. Lot of hotels and rest houses are also located in this town.
