👍 Cobb salad was fresh and filling. I opted not to have blue cheese and black olives. The waitress suggested a substitution of cheddar cheese, which I gladly accepted. We dined early at 11:45am. No waiting and food came out quickly People often mention cheese, time, ordered, good, salad, fries, burger,

Wow, is this place consistently a disappointment! We used to eat here almost weekly until the quality of the food went downhill (and apparently still going down). We got 3 giant pretzels and there was zero salt on them and one tiny cup of cheese sauce. They gave also honey mustard but that should be an optional thing you can order if you'd like it, not in place of the cheese sauce. You should not have to order extra cheese to have enough for three big pretzels! My husband arrived well before the food was ready (take out) and still he got old cold fries. They were not busy and seeing as the fries are half of the fish and chips meal, they should be fresh! They were inedible, even for a man who really likes fries! The baked cod had a weird seasoning on it and was borderline undercooked. It's a dang shame when the mashed potatoes are the best part of two meals and an appetizer. We spent $55.00 on food that will likely be thrown away. Mediocre would be a compliment. Won't be going back. This was the last time we will give them the opportunity to completely disappoint.

I worked at one of their locations back in the day. Nice people until I cut the tip of my thumb off in the meat slicer. I was 16 at the time. Instead of getting compensated for anything by Jeff the owner, I was forced to quit. I believe they thought about the consequences that could arise, knowing you have to be 18 to operate said machine, and my hours were dropped to one hour a week to no hours a week. Hope everyone enjoyed my finger sandwiches.

Went here for lunch with the family. It had been a while since we came here. Now I remember why. It was 11:30 and their door said they opened at 11. But the waitress was just opening up for the person in front of us. The booths were sticky and filthy. Booths sink down so far because all the springs are broken. Tables are sticky. We ordered our food. Prices have gone up. $14 burger came out looking like something I made at home with ingredients from Aldi. The presentation was terrible too. The burger and basket of overdone fries were on a slim aluminum tray with a piece of parchment paper. 4 people for lunch was $100 with tip! My son ordered the quarter rotisserie chicken and he only got one tiny thigh and a tiny basket of overdone fries. Very disappointing. The mashed potatoes were box mix potatoes and very starchy. Also they won’t tell you ahead of time but you will be charged an extra surcharge for using your credit card. This is our last time going here. Never again.

My family went in last summer only to be unwelcomed by the employees who were horsing around and laughing hysterically. This is the Douglas Ave. location. The entrance had a trash can that was knocked over. Trash was up against the door and strewn all over. We loved going there. We miss the good employees. Is it still like this?

Burger was good. Tater tots were a little greasy. Waitress was fantastic.

Too much food. The grilled cheese, bacon, and egg sandwich was more than enough on its own. It was great though.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, great service, and relaxing environment. . We hadn't been to this spot in many years! Much better than we ever remembered.

Unfortunately, ours was the only waitress to take care of an entire restaurant while the lazy mananger stood there and watched and did nothing to help her. Waitress did a very good job without the managers help. Food was tasty.

Last year my corned beef and cabbage was delicious, yesterday, it was terrible. It was dry, and my food was cold. Very, very dissappointed for $19.00.

The food was amazing and quality was great. Me and the wife both speak very highly. Well worth the price.

The food is overpriced for what it is. I ordered a burger with an Impossible patty substitution, and somehow that was $19. My tots were overcooked and burnt tasting. The service was acceptable after a long wait at the beginning. The kicker was that they are now including an extra surcharge to use a credit card, in an age when some businesses are going cashless entirely.

The menu is pretty standard...burgers, pizza, chicken & steaks. Everyone in our party ordered a burger or some type of sandwich...1 crispy chicken & 1 pulled pork. All our food came out nice and hot...the fries both waffle and straight were hot & crispy...definitely a plus. There wasn't a huge crowd, just another large party of regulars. Service provided by Julianna was excellent. She was quick to attend to our needs. One note of caution, the restaurant is quite small and the food took a good while to be prepared...order appetizers in my opinion. We waited over 45 minutes for our food to be served. Overall pretty good experience!

The worst! the place was cold, our nacho chips were burnt, I acually order chicken Gumbo in a bread bowl and it was nothing but dry noodles. not to mention that there were no light in the back area and as soon as it started geting dark, you couldn't see anything. why have that area open if there was a light problem?!?!?!

Kinda disappointed made the wrong salad twice it is very expensive almost $19 for a salad.first they put blue cheese in. then the manager came out with the next salad didn't have chopped tomatoes and green onions. I don't even work there and i know the menu better but I didn't feel like going back in having to correct them more times Went back again. Not that I mind getting stuff but the manager had me walk to him to get my stuff. Usually they bring it to you. I feel it was because of my review. Didn't make me feel valued or appreciated.

l visited during an unexpected rush an ms staff was thin. We were immediately seated and ordered jumbo cheese curds....mmmm. Burgers were good. Waitstaff was apologetic for the wait, but I didn't feel like we waited for an abundant amount of time. We'll be back!

It's so expensive: the food prices don't match the food you're getting. I wish I would have taken a picture of the steak meal my nephew ordered it was about $22 and the steak was so pathetic looking. The funny thing is though that I always somehow end up there 🤣 😅 out of convenience and because although it is not a favorite of mine my friend loves it...but I guess the older I get the more picky I get...one thing though that I do love there is the tator tots they are always so nice and crispy

Food was decent. My mom tripped and fell on an uneven spot in the restaurant and no one came to check on her to see if she was OK. We got a brief apology and then they acted like nothing had happened. We asked about completing a form and they didn't have a process so we left. It would have been nice for the manager to come and make sure she was OK. Thankfully a couple of patrons helped her and she seems to have no major injuries.

This used to be one of my favorite places to come for good food and good service. Lately, the location on Douglas Avenue in Racine, has not always been the case. A while back I ordered a taco salad for take-out. When I got home I discovered they put walnuts in the salad!?!? The time before that, another order of mine and my friends was made wrong. Today was our last attempt with charcoal grill on Douglas. I ordered a Buffalo burger for take out in respect, as they were going to close in a half hour. We left believing all was placed inside out carryout bags. I get home to find my burger with no toppings, ketchup... nothing: and my drink was missing. I called real quick in hopes of catching them, but no answer. I swore last time I was not trusting this location again but due to time and hunger, we took one last attempt. Overall, I will highly recommend Charcoal grill... but sadly, not on Douglas Avenenu in Racine.
