I’d like to give this hotel 4 solid Stars but while we stayed there, I saw them offering free alcoholic drinks to guests that could provide a 5 Star Google rating on the spot. I’m not okay with that. I also chose this hotel because of their 4.8 Star rating and felt a bit cheated when I arrived. The hotel is very good, but it’s not spectacular. In general I find it rare to see 4.8 stars for a hotel if it’s not brand new. So 1 Star it is from me to offset all those other bribed reviews. We stayed with our 11 month old baby for 1 week. The hotel was tidy, clean, and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was also decent. Pricing for food otherwise is more Western (i.e. a salmon salad ~$15-$20). They have two pools and kids seem to have to blast here. If you choose a room facing the ocean, just keep in mind it also faces the beach bar so at night there’s loud music until about 10pm. The spa and massages were terrific. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were there between 4 Dec and 9 Dec. Hotel Transfer was a breeze. Checking in was smooth as well and they have automatically upgraded us with 2 Family Suite. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The Western cuisine served was good. We loved the pizza. The sunset view over at Sand Beach Club was amazing. The Fire Show was excellent. Great songs by the trio was great.

Fantastic resort. Visiting on our honeymoon. Our room was wonderful. The location is A+ with short walk to the beach and even shorter work to both pools. There is nightly entertainment by the beach - Live music, traditional Thai dancing and fire dancers. Docked a point for service, because both nights we were here we didn't have great service from the bar staff at the beach. You had to really try hard just to get any attention from them. Service everywhere else on resort was great

It's a nice and new hotel. The personnel is great: always available, very friendly and very helpful. The location is simply fantastic: it's at the end of a promenade - there's no street between the hotel and the beach - it's really at the beach. There are two nice pools (one of them over 50m long, so perfect for training, the other one at the beach bar, perfect for party). The fitness centre is very good as well. The cleanliness is superb. The rooms are specious and neat but a bit generic. Only the prices for food and drinks were somewhat on the high side. Anyways, I'll be back. :)

One of the best resorts in Aonang. Amazing service. Friendly & helpful staff. Typical Thai hospitality. Great location by the beach. Only a short walk to the main Aonang strip. There are 2 pools, a gym, kids room, spa, souvenir store, beach bar & pizzeria. Didn't get to try any of them though. Rooms were clean, comfortable & well appointed. Lovely views for the ocean facing ones. We slept well all 3 nights. Huge selection of cable channels. AC was super cold. We celebrated our Anniversary & they decorated the room, surprised us with a cake & card. It was really sweet. What a welcome. Breakfast was good. Good variety of local & Western. Plus plenty of juices & fruits. Love the seating & best seats has to be by the pool. Does get busy but turnover was quick. Overall the best hotel I've stayed in Krabi. Will surely return & highly recommended.

Friendly customer service and fast check in. Plenty of parking spaces. A bit far from the beach. Room is decent size, not big and not too small, nice and clean with soft bed and a balcony with the side view of the hotel, not impressive since it's just other buildings. The swimming pool is with the stone cliff view located by the dinning area. Variety of breakfast choices and selections of fresh brew coffee. Average price for the hotel that isn't located by the beach but fully accommodated.

We may be biased because we visited such nice hotels before, but this one was definitely not the best one we did in Thailand. There is way too much crowding for the capacity of the hotel. extremely noisy. Bad orders coming from the swamp behind the rooms. Everything looks quite cheap. Coffee in the room is instant coffee. no bathtub. One towel a day of medium quality. no room around the pool or on the beach. Staffs look, overwhelmed, and are not necessarily pleasant. However, the staff doing the Cleaning is always smiling and saying hello in the corridors. The breakfast looks a bit like the hunger games, may the odds be in your favor. Everyone rushing to try to get some food and a huge lineup to try to get some omelette. Definitely not the experience we had in previous hotels during our stay. At night, however, the room was calm and quiet, which is something that we did appreciate. For those who want location, this hotel is extremely well located along the Ao Nang beach. I can appreciate that if you have children, this place would be quite adapted. It is on the break of becoming a kindergarten - there are kids running everywhere. Although having some decent equipment, the gym is extremely small and there are a maximum of two towels at a time. My humble opinion, this place does not deserve much more than a three on five.

We loved our stay here very much. The breakfast was amazing with lots of healthy options as well. Our daughter enjoyed the pools a lot. There were also a lot of other families with children of all ages. It was really easy to find people to talk to and kids to play with. A special thanks goes to the Animators from Columbia (Angela & Jorge). They created some really special memories for us (kids crafts, mini disco, theme parties, pool aerobics, pizza cooking…). In fact there was so much going on we didn’t feel the need to ever leave the hotel. The only thing that was missing in our hotel room was more shelves/drawers to put our stuff and a rack to hang our bathing suits and towels on the balcony would have been nice too. But everything else was so amazing it makes up for it.

Very nice view and sunset. The location is wonderful and calm at the same time near to center. Some times very terrible out of tune music even. On the contrary the 3 girls were wonderful at sunset. I think there is architectural problem at the hotel construction; at every point there is 'watch your step' sign for small steps not to fall or break your toe at the room. Room cleaning is someday very late. Overall nice hotel for Krabi

The hotel is in a very good shape one of the few hotels with a direct access to the beach. The hotel offers a great breakfast, water slides and a big variety of rooms to choose from. The staff here are great and we asked for half an hour later checkout and we got it free of charge. The location itself is 5 minutes walk from the main Street and bars. This hotel hosts a lot of families and children so if that's something that bothers you pay attention

Great service by the hotel staff. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very big and we got a block in the middle of the premise. So it was not near the pools and hence quieter. But was convenient enough to get to either pools, which was also where the 2 points of entrances are. The rooms were clean and the location is really ideal for walking back late in the night as you can walk along the beach. Have read about the need for 1000b deposit. Apparently it's 1000b per night.. but they also gave us the option that if we pay cash directly when we use additional service at the hotel, we do not need to give that deposit, which we preferred too. The breakfast buffet was also better than expected. Had a great stay with them. Definitely recommend.

Stayed here for the majority of our honeymoon, where we booked the Corner Pool (comes with a private plunge pool.) Received a wonderful warm welcome from the staff, who were helpful and friendly for the entire time we were there. Location is great— near enough to the main road to be able to shop, eat out, get around, etc., but far enough to have a bit of peace and quiet. The private mini pool was great as it had a lot of coverage from the sun and we didn’t have to fight for a lounge chair. It could have been more secluded but then we also would have missed the view of the ocean. No complaints about the room. There was no “deep end” in the swimming pools— Max height was around 1.2 meters in all the pools. Fun water slides were available in one of the pools. Live music on certain evenings was lovely and the performers very talented. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, recommend the Thai breakfast options and fresh fruits. Prices were much, much higher than the surrounding area for lunch and dinner— Even drinks were quite pricy. Easy to arrange excursions with the hotel itself or nearby tourist stalls. Easy access to Railay via long tail boat from the beach and the Monkey trail is close by. Cute geckos 🦎 that you could see at night roaming the exterior of the hotel. Thanks for a wonderful honeymoon!

Great location. Just a few minutes walk from the crowded main street and pier(good for shopping and finding good foods) but sits on its quiet beach corner and rarely bothered by the other visitors. Food could be improved. Considering paying the same price in Bangkok Marriott and here in Centara, the food is not so good. Great staff! They really try to think for you and help you before you ask! And they always have smile on their face.

Horrible. I don't understand the good reviews. This is our worst hotel of the 3 weeks of vacation (and by far the most expensive: 75€ per night). We wanted to treat ourselves for the first time in our vacation to take a top-of-the-range hotel, but this one is terrible. Holiday club canteen style disgusting breakfast. We wanted to swim this morning in the pool, no towel available before 11:30 !!!! Even asking at the reception they were unable to give us a towel so that we could bathe. When we arrived yesterday the room could not be ready before 3 p.m. and the sheets were wet. Low end. And the rooms are not soundproof. A complete scam. We stay 2 nights for 150€ and it is the worst 2 days of our vacation. To flee !!

Beautiful hotel, and a very good location. On a beach and 5 minutes walk from the main street. The kids club very small and only for young children. They say they have 3 restaurants but in fact only one is working all day. One is only for breakfast buffet. And Pizzeria that not open. The pool is nice. The room look nice, the children part of the room is a bit stuffy, and appear bed is too close to ceiling. When we ate at the beach bar and they completely mass up our order.

Thank you Centara! Good service - the staff seem to enjoy working here and naturally greet all guests with a smile. Rooms are large, well-designed and well-appointed. We had adjoining rooms which was fabulous. The breakfast is good and staff manage the ebbs and flows well. It is right on the beach, yet just a 5-10 minute walk to the restaurant strip.

Lovely quiet hotel next to the beach. And easily reach to high street but yet far enough from the busy tourist places. Food is good but a bit pricey. Two lovely pool. The one at the back is big and great for kids. The double- double bedroom is good for family of 3-4. The bed is big enough for 2 persons. Service is good.

Fantastic hotel with an incredible value/price ratio. Was recommended by the instructors from the local dive school, I can understand why ! I believe it is the only hotel in central Aonang with direct access to the beach, without having to cross the main road. Highlights : -Beach bar with sunset view, music and happy hour every evening -Hotel is quite new, rooms are large and comfortable -Staff goes above and beyond to make sure you're enjoying your stay (Special credit to James from the front desk management, and Nana in the managing team!) -Interesting activities organised by the hotel , such as kayak and Thai boxing classes on the beach. I would definitely go there again !

Good location on Ao Nang. There was no road in between the hotel and the beach and so we could transition from pool to beach very easily. The hotel was also walking distance from the Ao Nang walking street and promenade. The room design was simple. However the telephone in the room was not working and the hotel sheets had stain on them. The kids bunk bed mattress was very hard. Breakfast food quality was not great. Service was sparse. Service by the pool was better compared to other areas. The kids club and the hotel retail shop were closed for the time we were staying. The beachfront was beautiful. The hotel also had live bands for the evenings we were there.

Perfect beach side location. It's one of the last properties in the promenade so private and secluded to an extent. They had shows and events almost every evening. Food was decent. Room was spacious, clean. The location is the highlight as all you have to do is walk down the backyard to view the glorious sunset, afterwards walk down the promenade to reach the town centre with all the shops and pubs, barely a 5 minute walk. If you book one of the yacht or boat tours, those too are a 5 min walk down the beach and straight into your boat.

Excellent hotel! Perfect for families who are looking for a relaxed beach getaway. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly. Special shout out to HARU at Coco Pool Bar for her hospitality and great personality! We are definitely coming back again!

Overall good spot, walkable to the strip. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing. Staff was super helpful. Would say my room (3303) had a small smell of mold the entire 2 nights there. Even airing out did not get rid of. So if you find yourself in that situation don’t be hopeful that it will be gone like me, just get a new room. Also highly suggest that the resort make the pool by the beach adults only. The hotel is super family friendly & as a friend group trying to relax & drink by the pool would have been lovely. But parents on vacation mode (not paying attention to their kids) immediately takes away from the experience. Plus there is a huge family pool.

Did not got a chance to stay but a very pretty place right on the beach with the most beautiful view. People can enjoy the spa, pool and a beautiful sunset. They offer fire shows and live music as well. A very good place to stay.

Excellent hotel, very pleasant staff, big clean rooms. The only negative for me was the fact that they asked to pay for an espresso although having a coffee machine, something I never experienced before in Thailand. Still, very recommended.

We had deluxe room. Very spacious. All amenities. Extremely nice resort. Swimming pool, massage, gym and beach side bar & restaurant, private beach. Easy sidewalk to Market as well. Access to nearby restaurants. Breakfast: Less options for Indian food but decent other options to fill up your belly. Really nice staff. I am surely going back again.

The hotel & the location were so good, I was really happy initially, but the AC in the room was not functioning I called the duty supervisor and she replied “There is nothing we can do for tonight” ??? A hotel with all these services cannot fix or swap the room for the guests, it's the hotel's fault and they should take the responsibility not to respond in an unprofessional way and say nothing to be done. The rooms should be checked before customers' arrival in case any maintenance is needed. I landed today and am super exhausted But cannot sleep. due to this issue, paid an extra amount for this room, and now they are asking me to go to another room which is not at the same level, and refuse to refund but give hotel credit by force???

Beautiful hotel with beach access and 2 huge swimming pools. Staff can become more polite with guests and can help guests if they are unaware of any information. For gym you must have your own shoes as the hotel didnt allow to enter to the gym without gym or sports shoes also they don't carry any spare shows for you to facilitate at gym. Spa is good you can try.

With a restaurant by the beach, loved my stay here. Had booked the room with access to the pool which was amazing. A few metres away from the other attractions. Amazing views from this place. Rooms and Services quite great. Really loved my stay here.

The location of the hotel is very strategic. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk to the main road. , the accommodation is next to the beach as well. The room is very good. Comes with complete facilities including a fitness center. There are 2 swimming pools and most importantly, the service here is very good. Lovely, friendly staff, always ready to help guests.

I currently have the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Krabi and it is an amazing experience! The hotel is very stylish and modern, with large and spacious rooms that are beautifully designed. The kids area is fantastic and my children are having a great time playing there. The gym is well-equipped and perfect for those who want to keep up with their workout routine while on vacation. One of the highlights of our stay is the breakfast - there are so many delicious options to choose from, including a good amount of healthy choices. The pool is also fantastic - it is large, and the slides are a lot of fun. We've spent a lot of time there as a family, and it's great that the hotel is very kid-friendly. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Krabi. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the facilities are top-notch. We are having an amazing time and would definitely be staying here again!

Pathetic check in experience and rude staff We are checking in the hotel today for two days. The experience has been so bad that I am forced to give poor rating on the first day itself. 1. The duty manager Ms. Maria did not give us room even after 5 hours of our arrival. 2. We understand the check in time is 3 pm, but the rooms were getting checked out in front of us. The front office staff did not heed to our request for providing even one room. 3. The duty manager was rude to us for no reason but as we were asking for rooms 4. We were not even provided drinking water and had to go and buy for ourselves 5. Rooms were not provided even though my wife was sick and the fact was brought to their notice. 6. There is zero hospitality even though we were very polite asking for the rooms. We detected some prejudices of the staff on account of our nationality, maybe skin color Although the location of the hotel and the amenities seem good, the initial impression and experience is tough to swallow. Hope the top management addresses this issue immediately.

Great hotel right on the beach. Spectacular view from my room 😍. The breakfast has so many choices it's hard to pin down what's my favourite. Great gym as well for a workout while on holiday. 5 stars for this wonderful hotel!

Rooms amazing, reception check-in is also good amazing crowd. Restaurant not up to the mark even though when you had complimentary breakfast they will not serve you anything on table. If you will Get room below 8000 it’s worth. Don’t have bathtub in any rooms. Don’t take private pool room it’s not worth it to.

Great place to stay for families of all ages. Kids friendly area available. Could use more space at swimming pool sides as often the areas are taken from early morning. Good morning buffet. Various stores and restaurants near by. Beach is beautiful as well!

This is our second visit to this cozy place. The pool access was wonderful and spacious. Our daughter loved bunk bed which was well designed. Overall, the ambience was great and staff was so helpful. Surely, we will come here again!

Great place to stay with a family. Breakfast was always really great with a changing variety each day, i just wish there were more vegetarian options. I took off a star because there were staff members in the restaurant area borderline harassing me during two breakfast services. They didn't speak a word of English so they were just shouting in Thai.

This is a really great place for families. But I think it's not intended so much for couples as most of the rooms in the hotel have a connecting door to the room next door so you hear everything from the room next to you. There is also very bad noise isolation for the windows overlooking the pool so you can hear kids screaming. After upgrading to a room without a connecting door, we got a room with a constant engine noise from some pump until we got upgraded for free to a better room. I would still say that the service was very good and respectful of our time and money.

Great location, great views, great staff, great rooms. Breakfast had a lot of halal options. Chef could cook something special for Muslims during breakfast. The walk through the beachfront was amazing. All shops and restaurants nearby. The pool water was cold...only feedback to improve.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Good view from balcony. Variety of food in breakfast. Tasty dinner. Fire show amazed our kids. We left the scooter at the bar for whole night. We thought we lost it. Fortunately, Security guard kept it for us. Impress with the superb services.

We loved our stay at Centara. We only stayed 2 nights. The hotel was clean, new, staff was very polite and location was great. They have 2 pools which were really nice. Room was clean and with a great view (we got the beach front one). I even used their gym which was a bit small but had everything I needed. I definitely recommend.

Fantastic. Couldn't find fault. Perfect location. Loved it.... can't wait to go back. Rooms fabulous. Breakfast excellent. Staff very helpful. Honestly one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommend.

We stayed at this resort for 14 days and absolutely loved it. The resort is in a great location right on the beach front and is close to everything. The rooms are beautiful, modern and very spacious. All of the staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay so memorable. A special mention to Chen and Breez in the sports team who were always very helpful and would take the time to chat with us. we hope to be back again someday soon.
