In more than 10 years rating google-places this is my 3rd 1-Star Review. Our experience is based on the hotel (not restaurant) and was horrible. We arrived at the reception to check in and an old lady at the reception was checking us in (we had a reservation). The check in was quite slow and it took like 20 minutes but it was okay as it was an old lady and we didn't want to rush her. She didn't answer any questions but at that point I thought it was due to the language barrier. So far so good. What was really really bad was the room and how the staff handled our complaints: 1) The balcony and the rooms were dirty 2) There was dirt in the toilet 3) The water in the toilet and sink didn't run 4) We were barely able to close the front door as it was somehow damaged 5) The swimming pool was not usable! Dirty and almost no water in there. Seemed like it is under construction when on the pictures it looked really nice We went to the hotel staff and told them to please check the room and we showed them what wasn't working. 3 people checked the room and afte r nothing happened we sat down and were waiting....and waiting. Nobody talked to us, we didn't know what's happening. Suddenly everyone disappeared for 15 minutes and we were waiting again. The biggest problem was that nobody was talking to us! We asked many times what was going on but we literally just got ignored - no answer! I thought they don't speak english very well so I asked my Thai girlfriend to talk to them in Thai - but she got ignored too. They just wouldn't answer and ignored us. This was really rude. Nothing seemed to be happening and it seemed like nobody cared. 5 people were standing together and talking and after multiple times of asking for the manager or for someone in charge they handed us a phone with the manager. At that point we were so disappointed and felt really insulted that we decided to check out. The staff was rude, unprofessional and the rooms just dirty and not maintained well. It's ok to make mistakes - but please take responsibility and handle the mistakes in a professional way After we left my girlfriend told me that she heard the staff talking in a disrespectful way about us in Thai.

We can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and Kirati restaurant. We stayed here for 3 days and would like to stay even longer. All the staff is incredibly helpful and cares about the guests, the food in the restaurant is great, plus there is live music and fire shows every day. You have a few steps to the beautiful beach. We definitely recommend it over the popular Lamai or Chaweng.

We were lucky to find this waterfront restaurant by chance on our last day in Koh Samui. In addition, that evening there was a fire show and live music. It was a wonderful evening to end our vacation. The waiters were so nice, there was a storm before the show and they were so efficient in getting us all out of harm's way. Moved all the tables, plates etc and as soon as the storm was over, in a few seconds they reinstalled the tables for us so we could see the show. The food was very good and the price was fair compared to the restaurants next door. The location of the restaurant is magical, facing the water! with a shed-style decor.

Great meal, great service, Great experience overall. Hidden Little Gem!!! Promise you! 10 stars. Flyovers bursting real nice family run feel to it but still professional and efficiently chill with preparation service and reasonable price. Clean fresh Seafood in choengmon beach.

It's current rating (3.7) it's not honest about the restaurant. - food was great and decently priced to be surrounded by hotels - atmosphere and location is superb. White sand between your toes while eating - staff is very friendly A great place to eat for good thai food right at the beach

Only used the bar, the drinks were OK, but very poor and slow service. Had to push and complain to eventually get ours.

Recommended by our local Thai friend. Food is amazing, no shorter than some Michelin star places. We had two dinners here, both unforgettable The live music is jazz and piano, set such classy mood over sunset. Then exciting fire show at dark. It’s a 10/10 experience barefoot on the beach

We didn't stay at the hotel, but had lunch every day for a week at the beach restaurant. Absolutely loved it.

Got my fries first and had to wait so long for my burger that I ate them all before the burger came...

Great location and nice to have music with it in the evening… food quite good too but unbearably loud music (which even after feedback to the manager was not reduced). You cannot have a decent conversation across the dining table in a good way. Not recommended at all for that reason.

A mid-tier hotel located right on the beach. It offers budget accommodation and great food. The lowlight of my experience was being greeted at check in with a small print form to fill in with what seemed to be at least 20 data points many of which the hotel had via the booking provider and my passport. Most hotel simply ask for my passport copy and, I assume fill in their own forms. A small inconvenience, yes, however it wasn't welcome after an exhausting drive from Bangkok. Here's hoping that, they can find ways to streamline their check-in process. If other hotels can check me in with a simple copy of my passport, it should be possible here. Other than that, if you're on a budget in paradise, this could be the place for you.

Beautiful location directly at the beach, really good thai food, and live music! Highly recommended! We visited three times during our stay on Samui and have never been disappointed.

We came several times to the restaurant and tried different Thai dishes. All fresh and tasty in a beautiful location. Friendly staff and nice music in the evening
