The service of this restaurant is amazing 💗💗💗. I were trying to practice my Portuguese skills, so my dad required the waiter to speak Portuguese with me. Not only didn't the waiter get annoyed by my horrible Portuguese, he even gives me both a Portuguese menu and a English menu in order for me to be able to practice my Portuguese without ordering the wrong thing🤍🤍🤍😍. Also, the food is amazing and has the true taste of Italian food. A food that I really like is the white chocolate mousse (WHICH I FORGOT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF;). This mousse is different from all the mousse I tasted. The mousse has a soft texture like ice cream and the sweet taste of the mousse is soften by the strawberry jam on top. It's by far the most amazing mousse I'd ever tasted. The environment is also great since it's in a really nice shopping center 💖💞. 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

This is my first time visiting a authentic Italian traditional restruant. The host Adleeno (I hope I wrote it right, excuse me if I was wrong ) was extremely humble in inviting us. Tasted a typical thin crust Margherita Pizza, Traditional Risotto with Slice Apple, Spinach mixed with Chicken and Tiramisu. I'd say this is the best Tiramisu I've ever tasted and it just melted in my lips. I would travel until Benfica every time I visit Lisbon just for the Risotto and Tiramisu.

This is Italian and even a burger can be crafted in the Italian way... Food is full of flavours, staff is very friendly and sympathetic. We enjoyed it!

Perfect Italian restaurant within the shopping mall. The service and seating area are really good. The pizza is out of this world 😋. The risotto with mushroom is also good. The prices and portions are really reasonable.

Had a nice dinner here. i ordered penne tuna, but they were out, so they flipped it to fettuccine, tasted good. Lasagna was creamy, not too shabby. Dessert; gelato, and panna cotta weren't mind-blowing. Overall, it was a good experience.

Ordered the vegetarian pizza and it came out quick and piping hot. Thin crust, great flavor, did not taste overly processed. Thanks to the male staff at the cash register as he was very helpful with my limited/non existent Portuguese.

I've had dinner at Italian Republic four times. It is located in one of the food courts of Colombo Shopping Center. I think the food is very good. I've had a risotto, a grill meat dish, and two times a Ceasar salade, for dinner. Very tasty food. Not too fat and not too salty. Quality products. The desserts are very nice too, I think. The staff is polite and kind. At dinner time the place can be very busy. The manager always makes an extra effort to make sure everything is pleasant. The restaurant is also diversity friendly. The prices are very affordable, I think. I will absolutely return for more.

We were looking for a place in the food court at the mall (yes they do exist here) and ate at Italian Republic after walking around looking at other menus. We weren’t disappointed. Even though the restaurant was full, usually a good sign, they seated us quickly. Our waiter was attentive and recommended one of two wines I asked about, the cheaper one, €9,20. We started with a Caprese salad and both had linguine pescatore It was delicious and loaded with seafood. My wife who is from Sicily was impressed. We split the tiramisu and two coffees. €46. Can’t complain about any of it. Would totally eat here again.

Delicious calzone, great service, lovely owner! He suggested I try a mix of their lemonades and I recommend that as well :)

While the food is very good, the service was awful. A lot of time waiting for table when free tables were visible from the outside. Mixup the requests between two tables, lack of general organization or focus in the clients. Food: very, very good. Service: Mediocre.

I was surprised at how good this place is. It is located in a big mall, but the atmosphere is greate. Pasta linguini with shrimp 🍤 😋 is fantastic. Also, they made for us cocktail, which was not even on a menu. Very friendly stuff, and the list of desserts will impress you. I recommend this Italian restaurant, good price, good food, good service.

The ingredients were not stirred, AT ALL, even the onion was just added to the frying pan , with the pineapple also( the person didn't asked me if I wanted it cold or hot ), the sauce was just water with a bet two spoon of the tomato sauce in it. I used to like this restaurant but it downgrade in my list of options of restaurants to choose in Colombo . AND THEY USED THE SAME BROKEN SPOON FOR EVERYONE'S DISH 😵‍💫 , THERE COULD'VE BEEN A CROSS CONTAMINATION AND I COULD'VE BEEN ALLERGIC TO SOME OF THE PREVIOUS INGREDIENTS. VERY VERY UNSANITARY!!

Super friendly staff, every one is wearing a smile and they seem to really enjoy working here. It was a pleasure to have lunch here. Oh… and the food is of good quality as well. When visiting Colombo shopping center this is the place to eat something.

Sorry I can't understand how people swear by this restaurant. We got a Lasagne and cannelloni and it took years, it wasn't even good or tasted freshly made! Our plates were only half full. And then we got white mousse au chocolate that was awful! The Pannacota tasted like nothing! Even an Instant product tastes better than the deserts. On top of that there was no chance of sitting near the establishment as we had to wait for our food. Very disappointing.

Terrible chicken and terrible service. Chicken was soggy, with too many tendons. Situation was not remedied, nothing was offered no gesture was made. Will never come back.

Came for dinner here. Excellent food and service both. We do not eat mushrooms and they were happy to customise our pizza accordingly. Any day would recommend the place for vegetarians.
