Just amazing 🤩 What a dream place, feels like everywhere you look is another unique experience. So much beauty and everything nicely accessible for families. Careful - no stroller or Kinderwagen, the road is full of stones and elevations. This is definitely something to remember. Hint: necessarily go to Hintersee, which is a small incredible lake just on the way. Another good activity is to rent a small boat and swim around.

Gorgeous place for nature lovers. The best part is that is entrance free. The whole area is like a paradise.

A nice interesting nature route along the rocky river. Easy and small scale of walking around the forest area, thereby it’s ideally for family and seniors as well. It was flood that damaged forest this July, but nature gets its own magic to recover from climate change.

A very nice hiking trail through a gorgeous forestry. The trail takes you to Hintersee where you can capture breathtaking views.

Wonderful place for a small hike with kids. Can walk around the entire lake. Sit at the wooden benches and relax in the nature. Can also do a one day picnic too. Seems there are reptiles and snakes in the vicinity as per the notice. So do take care.

Great place to visit and hike any time of the year. Paths and parking are easy for anyone, great location to kids through to the elderly. The wooden walkways and paths make it really way to follow the river and waterfalls. With the mountains and forests this is a great location to relax and enjoy nature.

Excellent place for family and hikers. Bus comes to this place directly from Berchtesgaden Hbf. The are plenty of wooden benches in the area where you can sit to enjoy the view of the river, or have a picnic there. Easy to walk with plenty of signs around the area. Within 25 minutes walk it will lead you to Hintersee.

Beautiful mountain lake in pristine alpine surroundings. Be aware that the parking rate is 6€ for 4 hours.
