Nice store, a bit smaller than most Cabela's. They don't allow overnight parking for travelers. Good service from employees. Would have bought more if they had a campground like others.

Nice!! staff was great except the store manager wasn't! Got a rack of jackets with sale sign & guess they weren't supposed to be there & he ripped the sign down making it seem like it was my fault & told me NO! I said it would be different if it was 1 jacket put on the rack by mistake but it was a whole rack he should honor the dam sign he ripped down! He stormed off yelling & made the poor employee move all of jackets off the rack- sadly he wasn't manager material that represented Cabelas well!!

I went there to get my bow tuned down a little bit. I'm getting old and needed to draw weight down a little. The young lady in the archery department was very well versed. she knew what the hell she was doing. she was very nice and she tolerated me.

Didn't know it was part of bass pro but learn so.ething new every day! Sold out of ski apparel but made do with subbing hunting clothes... staff super helpful and friendly. On the expensive side is probably an understatement. :)

We needed new hiking shoes/boots. Bill in the shoe dept was extremely helpful. He made suggestions and answered all our questions. We are very happy with our new hiking boots. Thanks Bill!!

When my mother and I went here to get my father a kayak for his birthday, we found one for a really good deal! However, we let one of the workers tie the kayak onto our car and one the highway it fell off. We did get the kayak and we ties it again with no issues, but that was really scary. So, dont let the employees tie it 😅

Friendly and helpful employees. Selection is good but it's a smaller store then the one I'm used to going to. Still found the shoes I needed.

I am usually satisfied with customer service. But today while I was at the gun counter waiting to be waited on a couple clerks grab other customers first. Then Hank decided to help me. His attitude and demeanor was terrible!! Seemed like it was all he could do to wait on us We returned a scope instead of letting Him help us anymore. At least Pam smiled, said hello and acknowledged me.

I was looking at something online using this store location. Website said the quantity was limited- so I called the store to verify. I spoke with Troy at the customer service desk. Troy took my phone number and said he would go verify. Within five minutes he called me back to say they did have one in stock! Thanks for going above and beyond! Troy is definitely an asset to this store!

I'm usually happy with this place even if the prices are a little high. This visit I asked for a well known popular bullet and was told they not only didn't have it but it didn't exist. I went to Scheels and bought 2 boxes.

Went to this location to purchase my first hand gun and had a great experience! All the staff was very helpful but Gary really went above and beyond to make sure I made a good educated decision. He let me handle a few different options and gave me some great insight on them all. I felt great about my purchase and will return for future purchases. I will say Gary really made my day!

I didn't even have to try and hunt Santa down. He hangs out here and offers free pictures with him! Santa took the time to talk and listen to my children, and Santa's staff were so sweet! No lines what so ever, the store was actually pretty empty & quiet. As a parent of a child with autism this was absolutely perfect & so relaxed! Thank you!

One of the smallest Cabela's we've been too yet. Had a challenging time trying to find anyone to help us in footwear. Stood around for about 5 minutes. No buzzer, bell, nada to get an employee's help. Then walk around a few isles waiting but nothing still. My husband finally had to rather loudly repeat "hello?!" several times before an employee noticed us from another department & tried her best to offer assistance but it wasn't her area so she couldn't help much but did offer to radio for more assistance & offer to stay with us until they showed up. Everyone was very friendly & loved our big 135 pound older puppy Dozer. They made us feel very welcome & we appreciated all their help. Not busy when we went during the weekday & parking was good.

My fiance and I were shopping at Cabela's and got asked by 3 employees about their VISA. After getting asked by the last person I told her that we work in finance and if we wanted the card we would get it but we don't. Same person asked again. I said we have a VISA with Scheels. Then the employee said they are better and bad mouthed Scheels. Unprofessional and they should just stop asking when you say no. Makes it unenjoyable to shop their and we don't plan on coming back soon.

It Cabelas. I love this store. They have lots in stock, from fishing to hiking and everything in between. They even have an archery range to test bow before buying. I got a lot of crappies jigs I think should work when I return to South. Knowledgeable staff with plenty of insight for each department.

Pretty great, I've had some bad experience here in the past from racist customers in the parking lot, this happened twice, however, the service here is amazing, the staff is friendly and always willing to help find you what you need. The nice staff and environment make up entirely for my bad experience which had nothing to do with the staff or the company. Great place to get your north face or carharrt apperal, hunting and fishing gear, gaming and hiking gear, and little something for those furry friends. A great place to take the kids as well.

Always someone around willing to help you. Clean and very well organized store. I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars only because this location it's not RV (overnight) friendly. Although it's not the store's doing, it's local ordinance.

Incredible staff! We came in for Sturgis from out of town and had to do a Canadian-US gift card switcheroo. The team here were so helpful and truly went above and beyond for us! Thank you so much for making our first day in Rapid City a great one :)

Love a good Cabela’s trip with my dog! This one is quite large compared to most I’ve been in so I was VERY pleased. Will definitely be returning before I leave Rapid City.

Using points on your Cabelas card makes Christmas shopping a breeze. We bought a large meat grinder on our last visit. I prefer the camping, hunting, outdoors equipment and tools over the clothing.

We went on Black Friday, so it was a zoo. Sadly, Cabela's hits you hard with the Cabela's card - sort of too much too. I was provided my card by a gun counter associate named Brett. He was amazing and he processed our order in a calm and speedy way. Thanks, Brett! You need that "employee of the month" award :)

The store in Rapid City is outstanding with excellent customer service. The store in Mitchell's employees are rude and have no sense of customer service.

In general cabelas as has gone down the toilet since BP purchased them. Those who have been going there for a while will know what I am talking about. Products, name brand items, policies and customer service has all changed for the worse. This location is also one of the worst I have been to and many obviously agree as it is always a ghost town especially when compared to their Scheels neighbor....not even close. After my last visit experience with customer service I will be closing all accounts with them and any dollars spent will go elsewhere. Sad as this once was "the" sporting goods place to go.

Luv Cabelas! So much to see can spend hours wandering around looking! Everything from yummy packaged Candy to Fishing*Hunting Products & Clothing*Footwear! Prices can b a little high but they have good sales! A fun Store!

Stopped by Cabela’s to see about getting some night vision binoculars they have on their website. Unfortunately there were none in stock. If you like to check things out in person for hunting and outdoors this is a great store. The taffy there is really good too. Just sayin.
