This place could be dated back since Khmer Empire. The front gate in stone is a replica of the ancient Khmer work. There are plenty of the things to visit here. From different generation Khmer - Dvaravati - Sukhothai and Ayuthaya in one place. It is a bit messy but still a nice place to discover.

Truly amazing ancient temple dating back to the Dvaravati period, some 1100 years ago. The current Phrangs were built on over the original temple and are of clearly Khmer architecture.

So beautiful and quite different from Thai other temples. It’s really peaceful place suitable for who wants to do merit.

Such a wonderful place.. the weather was great and it was not too busy. The buildings look spectacular…. This place is slightly different than the ones in Ayuthhaya. It’s still an up and running temple and many Thais are here to do their Buddhism rituals and traditions. Must visit it you come to Ratchaburi. It’s right in the middle of City Center and very near Big C mall where you can grab a van to Bangkok easily

One of the oldest monasteries in Ratchaburi dated back prior to the Ayutthaya time. Constructed in ancient Khmer’s signature Prang which hosted the great Buddha relic.

Beautiful like a piece of Ayutthaya was cut out and pasted into Ratchaburi. English to read. Not too busy. Well worth a visit.

less care . condition of ancient place disappeared. no condition of dvaravadi. look like modern place.

Beautiful old temple. Spent something like 10 minutes here. Enough to see everything.
