This is by far the best looking river cruise in Bangkok. The restored barge is beautiful and the group is small (make sure you book far in advance!) which makes it quite intimate. The welcome at the Anantara resort is lovely with an appetiser and a cold tea in the pier. Once on board, the team are lovely and the service is great. The food is modern Thai, recognisable but with a twist. The portions are quite big, we were very full towards the end! We had the unlimited drinks package with alcohol which includes beer, wine by the glass and softs. They refilled our glasses as often as we wanted to it’s definitely worth considering. Not cheap especially given how affordable food is in Bangkok but definitely worth it!

The experience is unique and the the boat is traditional style which I really enjoyed. The only thing is at the end of the trip, it got really windy and cold, so the rice and beef were turned cold so quickly that they tasted quite disappointing. Maybe consider heated plates such for cooler seasons.

Really disappointing experience. We wanted to try a Bangkok river dining experience that was a bit higher in quality than the usual buffet options and decided to give this a try. The staff were wonderful from start to finish. Very polite, professional people that did their best to take care of us the entire time. The boat itself was great too. Nice atmosphere, looked and felt like it should. My rating is so low for two reasons - the food wasn't that good and the price (2,900 baht per person) was very high. The first three courses of dinner were disappointing. In particular, we didn't like the spicy pomelo with pork dish. The pomelo was really sour and I didn't even finish it. The pork looked and tasted like something you could get on the street for 15 baht. The seafood in the soup was cold and tasted undercooked. The broth was also too sour and didn't have any real spice in it. The two main course dishes (spicy grilled fish and green curry beef cheek) were alright, but not close to what I would expect for more than twice the price of the competing buffet cruise options. The beef cheek dish in particular had these rough shavings on top that felt as unpleasant to eat as they tasted and almost ruined it for me. Not enough green curry in the dish either. The desert, sticky mango and rice, looked and tasted worse than street options that are a fraction of the price. Overall the portions were also quite small for us even though we're not big eaters and we had to get something else afterwards to fill up. I was surprised this cruise was associated with Anatara, because that's a really great hotel. The quality simply does not match and I would never go again or recommend it to anyone.

A fantastic experience along the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. A set menu of 5 courses and excellent views on each side of the river. Last for about 2 hours. Some dishes are spicy so if this is not your thing you need to let them know. My beef was a little disappointing due to the fat content (more than I would normally have), however not the worst meal I have had. Staff excellent and attentive. The atmosphere is excellent and the boat is a traditional Thai rice barge which the other river cruises dont have.

Evening dinner cruise departing from Anatara resort. Met with a welcome drink and snack. Cruise for around 2 hours, past the illuminated sights of Bangkok, whilst partaking in a 7 course dinner. Food was delicious and reasonable portion sizes. Different food and drink (alcoholic and non-alcoholic packages are available). Vessel was expertly piloted given amount of river traffic. During dinner the wind picked up and we were glad we had taken a light jacket. There are lots of dinner and party cruises available on the river but Manohra provides a more intimate night. Staff were very good at their jobs and the chef got a big round of applause. The night was one of the highlights of our trip to Bangkok.

Joined the dinner cruise on a Saturday night in late July 2022. Located at the pier of the Anantara Riverside hotel (careful using Grab as there is another similarly named hotel elsewhere in Bangkok), when we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and given some longan juice and canapes (mini laab salad and vegetable rolls) before being ushered on board the intimate boat and sat at our table. We were then served course after course of delicious food - the portions were small but we were very full by the end. It is advertised as a four course meal but they could easily claim it was 6 - I enjoyed everything from the amuse bouche to dessert by way of a starter, soup and fish and meat main courses. The drinks were a little pricey, but we did enjoy the Thai craft beer and prosecco and the service was attentive and polite throughout. The cruise itself doesn't offer a huge amount in the way of sights, with the notable exceptions of a lit up Wat Arun and IconSiam but the overall experience is lovely so it doesn't really matter. It is certainly one of the most expensive activities I have done since being in Bangkok but I do think it's worth it.

A wonderful experience cruising along The Chao Phraya. I have had dinner a couple of times and always enjoyed it. As too have my friends. Lots to see as you cruise along with good food and variety of drinks. Charming staff too.

We made a last-minute 4 p.m. reservation for the same day and had no trouble getting in. This vacation was completely unanticipated, but everyone in my family has had a great time. Stay on track with your excellent work.

Manohara Cruises also offers vegetarian dining. Costs about 2250 baht/person. (Water costs an additional 400 baht) The boat can accommodate about 25 people and is equipped with 6 tables. The quality of the tour and the boat are very good, though the vegetarian food was average.

Truly loved the experience, right from the hors d'oeuvres served on the riverside terrace before the boarding to the dessert, we loved practically every course. The ambience on the boat is brilliant, except it can get quite hot, would recommend dressing in light clothes. The service too was exceptional. One of the members in our group was a vegetarian and they did a vegetarian version for her of every single dish. They also served a special menu for our kid which was absolutely yummy. Highly recommend the experience for the food and the beautiful view as you dine.

Our Manohra cruise experience was absolutely incredible! We did the dinner cruise, the sights at night were beautiful. The meal on the cruise was several courses and everything was delicious. Staff was incredibly gracious and kind. I look forward to sailing with them again in the future.

Good service, viewing river side are limited due to design of boat roofing. Convenient location to get on/drop off passenger.

From start to finish this cruise was amazing! Courteous staff, delicious food, and relaxing environment. Lily and Nancy were super nice! Make sure to also tell them if you are celebrating a special occasion. I let them know about my partner’s bday when I made the reservation (via TripAdvisor) and they surprised us with a delicious cake! Cruise starts and ends at the beautiful Anantara Riverside resort.

My Fiance & I had the most amazing experience on Manohra Cruises. From the moment we stepped onboard we felt like this was a top notch operation. Service & food 10/10. Boat was beautifully presented and we had a great two hours cruising the "River of Kings"
