We had a great time there. The place is really chilled and relaxing. You can enjoy the sound of birds in the morning. The owner is really really considerate. He wants to make you feel like you are at home. We asked him for not spicy food, he made special non-spicy dishes for us. Rooms are really clean. The driver picked us up at the hotel to do the safari. I totally recommend this place.

Really calm and safe place. The manager is trying to give the best what he can so you can imagine how helpful and welcoming he are. Also not that far away there is a babies elephant conservatory, so you can see how workers are feeding them. All in all the resort is based in a good location and you will be surprised how many different jungle sounds you can here during the night here.

This place deserves to be #1 on all lists and probably isn't as its only a few months open (late 2018). The place consists of 3 private villa type properties which a newly built to a good standard and very clean. Each has a little balcony with comfortable seats surrounded by an array of fruit trees, even now it looks great so I can only imagine how impressive it will be in a few months or years. The owner, a young, local guy is working to build up his own business and puts customer satisfaction at his core. There was nothing that was too much trouble for him. Through Suncity we organised the most amazing and budget friendly private half day safari (several options available). Our driver took us into the National Park and for most of the time we didn't see another jeep near us - all those elephants to ourselves :) Suncity provided us with local Breakfast, lunch and dinner which was not only delicious but very well priced. Finally, the kind owner arranged a private taxi for us to Haputale at an extremely competitive price (half of the rates found on the Internet). Overall, I cant recommend this place enough, it's like your own little boutique stay in a paradise garden. Book now while there is still space!!

Great place - very clean, new, nice big rooms with AC and bathroom. Compelx is small and quiet - perfect to relax before or after safari. Owner is attentive, very helpful. He arranged for us great safari (we saw a lot and didnt follow all other jeeps- going via less popular paths made it very special experience).He also arranged for us car to Haputale (v. Good driver & super competetive price). On top of everything we had delicious meals during our stay in Sun City. Top notch service & place

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and had such a great relaxing time! The accommodation was super clean, beds comfortable, it has AC and hot water, fresh linens and towels and hairdryer. The owner Kasun is so lovely and friendly and goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. We had breakfast and dinner there both days and food was plentiful and varied and delicious - chicken/fish/potato/pumkin curries with rice and sides. He also speaks English and Korean! The venue was beautiful and natural with fruit trees and palms and he organised a safari for us nearby. We will def come back if we are in SL again...

New clean place, had dinner with them and booked our safari as well. Had a great time - staff is very sweet and attentive. Highly recommend!

My experience at the Suncity Safari Resort will always be remembered. The host was so friendly and engaging and truly wanted the best experience for me in every way possible. He helped arrange a full day safari tour for me, which ended up being more amazing than I dreamed I would experience. He provided breakfast and lunch during the safari and also asked for my input on other meals while at the resort. My bungalow was super cute, well laid out, comfortable bed, and large shower (perfect after a hot long day out on safari). It was about a 10-15 minute walk into the small town where you could visit a restaurant. The garden at the resort was well looked after by another staff member who would always smile and great you when you ran into him. I have never experienced another host so intent on making his guests have the best experience possible in every way he could. Please go visit this resort. Stay for at least a few days & make sure to do the FULL day tour, not just the 4 hour tour.

Thoroughly recommend Suncity as a place to stay. We stayed here for a night and got a bit unlucky with an all night power cut and a safari driver who slept in but the owners could not have been more attentive and helpful. The service was some of the best we've experienced. We had dinner and breakfast here too and both were great and the setting was lovely.
