When you drive up to the resort, it looks very impressive. The private area, beautiful lobby and pool is so nice. The room was old and outdated. It smelled musty and felt dirty overall. The included breakfast was very limited and underwhelming. Better options at a cheap 3 star hotel to be totally honest. The after hours food service was incredibly limited.

Design Heaven. Great premises, lots of nature around, very secluded. Excellent design elements everywhere. Food concept is excellent, as always with Como. Amazing spa. Rooms could be maintained a tad better (some wear & tear is visible) and there is no beach to speak of, but overall: amazing resort. Sunrise and sunsets are out of this world, breakfast spot is amazing, largest pools I’ve seen in a while.

Was staying in 3 BR Andaman Pool villas with my family 3 conservatives nights. I would give 4 - 4.5 rating. The hotel has everything to be given 5 stars. However, maintenance for hotel main area, room facilities are needed. From the lobby, sofa has been used heavily and not sure when was the last time they did clean the cover. The whole lobby area was not given the feeling for 5 stars hotel at all. Lobby chandelier full of dust. Shortest of staffs, in room services may take longer time than you expected (Probably cost control). - Hotel location is outstanding. Very private, there is no much boats around the cape at all even night time. Mind peaceful indeed. - Food is very good. The hotel kitchen can cope with any orders that we needed. Pizza is a must. Breakfast varieties not much for people who stay longer than 3 nights. PS. not recommend room 1006. As long as there is still a tree in the middle of panorama pool's room view.

Awfully maintained two bedroom pool villa. Housekeeping did not do our room, we had to call them over 5 times for them to arrive at 6pm. No slippers in the room. Staffs were under trained. Buffet line at breakfast is the same every single day. A la carte order at breakfast is limited to one order only. Felt like management team is not doing their job. I personally don’t recommend this 3-stars hotel, not value for money. The staff kept upsetting us with every single thing.

Stayed here over the weekend in a pool suite, overlooking the sea. Absolutely beautiful room. Hotel itself was very clean and had activities that we could enjoy - stand up paddle, yoga and even Thai Cooking. I also recommend the spa. Overall, splendid service and worth the money spent.

Stayed at COMO for our 40th birthday weekend, and it was amazing. 3 bedroom villa is unbelievably comfortable and fun! Food in the restaurants and room service were extremely tasty. They were very generous with coffee and topped up complimentary beer and soft drinks in the fridge every morning! Also special mention to Jimmy, our butler. She made sure we were well taken care of. Spa was also great. A touch on the pricey side, but still very relaxing and enjoyable.

Highly recommend this resort! Stunning architecture and beautiful views. Pool room suite included private infinity pool. Lovely staff and extremely friendly. Gorgeous faculties, including pool, fitness centre, sauna / Steam. The resort also features two incredible restaurants and 24/7 room service. We will be back!

Amazing hotel! I wouldn’t book if you’re trying to do a lot in Thailand as it’s pretty far out of the way. This was our last stop before we flew out and loved it that way! Super secluded, amazing food and views!

Our second visit Since 2018 and covid. This place is very well maintained. The Michelin Thai restaurant - I was quite apprehensive about it but food turned up good except the tiny portion, same goes to the Italian restaurant - the Caesar salad was too little. The spa was good too, not to forget the staff and the steam bath. They made us feel we can be ourselves (gay) and free from discrimination. Oh the breakfast area played Julia and Angus Stone! Such good taste in music. My second suggestion will be the TV, the English subtitles doesn’t work. Please upgrade to a smart tv so we can watch Netflix and YouTube. Thanks. Will see you again very soon.

Excellent service, from reception to concierge to room service. The hotel is 30 to 40 minutes away from the big tourist areas, so you can get a relaxing time at the start and end of each day of your stay. The view from the hotel is absolutely spectacular.

Had a great time here, you get so much for what you pay for and the breakfasts and restaurants are delightful! We had a really great time here. Ms. Da is an angel sent from heaven, truly. The view from the rooms and breakfast area are enough to make one weep. If I ever come back to this area of north eastern Phuket, I will of course stay here again. :)

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Service, friendliness of the staff, a quiet and relaxing atmosphere for those looking to de-stress from everyday life. Its architecture, its interior design, its views. I loved it. I would love to come back one day.

Great experience staying at this resort hotel. Rooms are good. Clean, well-maintained and big bathroom. My only criticism is that a west-facing room with have difficulty staying cool (by American standards) during the day and will struggle to adjust at night. I understand that’s a personal preference, but it did mildly affect our stay. Service was great at the front desk and there were very helpful people assisting with taxis and deliveries. My only criticism here is that there was really no pool-side service and also the lunch service was fairly slow. Neither of these things affected our stay too much, but it’s something we noticed for a hotel this expensive. The location is good but some things to know…it takes between 30-60 minutes (depending on time of day) to get just about anywhere touristy you might want to go. However, many of the resorts in this price bracket are further from the tourist “hustle” so that seems a common issue. So just plan your days accordingly and it’s not a big deal. There is not much walkable in the area surrounding the hotel although there are two very tasty restaurants within a 5 minute car ride. Overall, the resort itself including fitness center, spa, and restaurants is fabulous and luxurious. It’s also quite a unique kind of property and architecture. We really enjoyed our stay!

A mix of hits and misses for me, though I would say that the service and staff made up for the misses. The view upon arrival is astounding - the location is right across the bay and it's definitely scenic. The staff were brilliant from start till end, and special shoutout to Chart - who was brilliant when I mentioned that I had food poisoning (from outside) and took extra care to make sure that our needs were met. Considering that all the staff members were already exceedingly great in their service and attitude, Chart's was even stellar! The room interior was also unique and very much to the Como branding - though not having toothbrush/toothpaste available was a little odd. Also had decent in-room dining and even entertainment rooms (one playroom for kids, and one with darts/pool table/PS4/Switch!). Neutral: the breakfast. It is one of the relatively healthier meals I had in Phuket - light, green options. Not something that kids might particularly enjoy, or those who are craving for large conti breakfast buffets. Transportation-wise, things are improving with Bolt being declared as legal, though you do expect drivers to request for cancellation - they are usually at least 15 minutes away from you. The downside was, surprisingly, the room view. Had opted for the Phang Nga Pool Room, which from the official photos looked like it directly overlooked the sea, but since the rooms are located on level 2, the views were all blocked by trees or odd buildings right in front of the rooms. Not something I would have paid an additional USD100 a night for. In general, great team + service + room interior made up for odd room view.

Such a great hotel with very great views, service is amazing! In-room dining wasn’t that good, but two other options at the resort. The only thing missing is a beautiful beach.

Very modern design and good service. We were very much satisfied with the room and breakfast. Swimming pool is big and impressive but there is no beach access from this hotel. And also it's a bit remotely located. It's far from part places however if you want peaceful time, this hotel is perfect to be away.

I really enjoyed my stay at COMO and made a lot of fond memories with my family. The room is extremely comfortable and spacious, so comfortable that I cannot bare to leave the room when we had to go out for dinner. The pool is one of the best places at COMO, my brother and I had loads of fun there. The services provided by the resort's staff is the absolute BEST, the people there are also sweet and kind! Another unforgettable memory was the wonderful food we had. It was very scrumptous and appetizing. I shall never forget about the wonderful experiences I had at COMO Point Yamu and look forward to stay with them again!!

We had a wonderful 6D5N stay at Como Point Yamu’s One-room Pool Villa as a family of 4. Our kids loved going to Play at Como every day (I was surprised they didn’t feel bored), and we enjoyed our time at the swimming pools as well. Como Shambhala Retreat was absolutely lovely, and I loved having their excellent body and hair care products for daily use in-room. One of the main highlights of our stay was food. I looked forward to breakfast every day. My husband and I got to try 8 different ala carte breakfast choices, and only one didn’t satisfy as much, but the rest really impressed, especially the Como healthy specials. Please try the local cakes at the breakfast bar, the ones wrapped in banana leaves. They are delicious. Food for children were freshly prepared with substantial ingredients, and there’s also a complimentary menu for infants that is nutritious and varied. Special thanks goes out to our butler, Da. She made our stay so easy and comfortable. Thanks to the entire Como Point Yamu team for a pleasantly memorable family vacation!

Choose the Como to enjoy the spectacular view, 5* service, receive an indelible impression of Thai hospitality and very nice infrastructure. We spent here 10 days. Part of it in 1bed villa, part in 2beds villa. Book 2beds, they are fabulous! 24 hours a day, you are happy to see an incredible picture of the sea and islands. It is great for kids: play room is huge with many toys, books and very nice nannies. Many thanks to the General Manager and all the team. You are doing a great job!

Loved the place, beautiful 2 bed private pool villa with ocean view. Service was outstanding from start to finish the staff were welcoming and each villa has an assigned butler. Anna was like a private concierge booking restaurants both inside and outside the hotel and a wealth of local knowledge.

    • Breathtaking 360 degree views and gorgeous hotel premises. You can spend hours exploring the grounds which is what I did! • Great gender segregated spa area with sauna, steam bath and an outdoor relaxation area with two cooling down pools • Delicious Italian and Thai food • Superb á la carte breakfast • Good in-room coffee & tea offer • Loved little touches like flip flops, water flowers in front of your room, cute do not disturb & clean my room signs • Definitely go for a room with private pool! I had a pool room and the privacy, views and atmosphere were such an unforgettable treat! • No Smart TV in the room so you'll need to watch Netflix on your own device! Unheard of for this hotel category, price and in this day and age. • My room wasn't ready until 1445 (check-in is at 1400) but I got a free drink from the bar for the inconvenience. Check-in is a bit lengthy (passport, completing check-in form, swipe credit card twice to pay for deposit and room, lots of paperwork) but this could be a Thai thing. • On departure day, reception called my room at 1200 on the dot to remind me about the checkout time (1200) which wasn't appreciated, especially as my room wasn't ready at the check-in time! I thought this was poor guest handling. If the turnaround time of two hours isn't enough (which would be understandable), please move your check-in time to 1500 to manage guest expectations. • Reception also called me in my room shortly after my arrival to inquire about my transfer needs for the next day (I had a one night stay). Instead of calling my room and disturbing my peace & quiet, why didn't you ask this question at check-in about 90 mins earlier? • The hotel doesn't have beach access.

We returned to the Resort after almost 7 years to find it not much different from when we left. Food - There are two restaurants and one bar on site. La Sirena is where breakfast is served, and Italian menu for lunch and dinner. Nahmyaa is Thai and while we were there it looked like it was only open for dinner. Reservations are encouraged as the restaurant does get crowded. The Thai food at Nahmyaa is really delicious, the crab curry is highly recommended. Aqua Bar is the poolside bar. The staff at the Aqua Bar and poolside took care of us so well. Fresh towels were available, iced water to keep us cool, and the ice lollies throughout the day to ensure we were all hydrated. Nok who was at the pool everyday kept a good handle on all the operations. Hotel - The facilities have been kept well although one could spot some water damage, or paint peeling here and there. But overall, given that we are all returning from Covid, this was not an issue. Our family booked a Bay Suite room. We were disappointed that our room overlooked the lobby carpark and did not have the wide balcony with sun loungers as promised in their description. The manager on duty immediately offered us a Phang Nha Suite (an even better room) without delay. In the end, we decided not to move because it was late in the evening, and we appreciated the service recovery. The staff speak English very well, and offered to help with a multitude of questions, and recommendations for attractions in the area. Additionally, we also appreciated that we were offered a better ride to the airport at no extra cost. Gym & Spa - We had two complimentary massages offered in our booking package. Needless to say we definitely took advantage and thoroughly enjoyed the Como Shambhala massage and a Thai Massage - Would recommend Woon and Sandy. Child Friendly - The pool is really child-friendly. It is shallow on two sides and the children at the resort have a blast. There is one end of the pool which is deep and the "quiet" zone. But it doesn't tend to stay quiet!

I stayed here over Christmas in one of the pool rooms. This hotel is situated in a beautiful and picturesque location. Friendly staff across the whole hotel, which makes you feel very welcome. The buffet breakfast has an a la carte menu and buffet with a variety of selections. The food in the Nahmyaa restaurant is absolutely stunning, and you must try it. Couples wanting quiet and relaxation will definitely need to book a pool room or villa. There were a number of families with screaming and disruptive children around the main pool and bar area, which did make it hard to enjoy the evening sunset and cocktails.

  • 4/5 Regina J. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms are fabulous. We had one with our own pool so we can get in one after hours. The main pool closes at 8pm. The food is good though the service can be slow. There is a beautiful panoramic view of the waterfront but the location is not close to local restaurants or bars. There are only 2 restaurants in this hotel.

Love this hotel, hands down best view in Phuket. It’s a bit out of the way with 30 mins drive to everything but not an issue if you have a car. Really amazing view from the rooms and breakfast/pool area. Great service, and selections for breakfast.

This place blew us away. Booked for two nights at Phang Nga suite. Lovely spacious room with sunrise views right from our bed. Requested for wedding anniv arrangements and they picked up on hubs and my bday (of course :)) and had a cake + anniv, bath tub petals and water prepared when we checked in. The service was excellent and flawless. Every corner of the establishment was Instagram worthy, you wouldn’t run out of photo moments. The pool had one of the nicest views overlooking Andaman sea and Phang Nga bay. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Also will write a separate review for their Thai resto Nahmya which we thoroughly enjoyed n is a must try.

Stunning hilltop architectural hotel and restaurant. Feels like you’re in a James Bond movie. That said the staff is very kind and friendly. The pool views are out of this world spectacular. One of my favorite places. I always eat by the pool but the restaurant is also lovely and menus are interchangeable. The only downside is there is no sunset view.

■COMO Point Yamu Phuket Thailand Resort Hotel I found it while looking at past photos, so I will write down my memories. This resort hotel "COMO point yamu" is located on the east side of Phuket Island in Thailand. It was a resort space like heaven. The overall space is sophisticated, and the rooms have the best view of Phang Nga Bay! Breakfast is served at the buffet restaurant with a view of the poolside, and the building is very stylish. We went in 2019. I will definitely go again when covid is resolved and I can travel abroad again

This is our all time favourite hotel to just rest and relax. However, the brazen smoking on estate by hotel guests is a frustration. So far, I've witnessed smoking (or vaping) in the lobby and pool side. Don't recall this on our last trip, and as a brand that promotes wellness and health, hope that the hotel management can look into this to prevent non-smoking guests from breathing in second hand smoke.

Beautiful architecture, stunning views, and great service! Loved the views of Phang Nha Bay from our suite, and the private pool which we got thanks to a free upgrade when we arrived. Thanks to the staff for who went out of the way to arrange activities and logistics and made our stay so comfortable & enjoyable!

Highly recommend this place! Had a fantastic 4 nights stay at this amazing hotel! Love their breakfast choices especially the noodle soup and the fresh fruit juices. The hatha and vinyasa classes were awesome and professionally conducted! Housekeeping team and receptionist were very efficient at their jobs. The assistant manager, Sinn , was exceptional too!! Good job team!

This was our second visit to COMO Point Yamu. We stayed as a family of four (4 yo / 8 months old) as a long stay for two months from December 2021 to February 2022 in the three bedroom Andaman Pool Villa. Thank you to Mr Franz and his team for making our stay flawless and a very special one. The hotel was very well run and everything was perfect, we felt like we were a part of the family. The hotel is situated in the most beautiful point over looking Phang-Nga bay and a little fishman village. The views is spectacular and the facilities are very well maintained. The villa's very well equipped kitchen facilities meant that we were able to live just like home. Considering the Covid times where most places are suffering from staffing issues, we did not feel this at all at Como. The staff were always very attentive and the service was second to none. As we were there for a long time, my 4 yo daughter attended the kids club every day and the staff went above and beyond with activities to ensure she had the best time and was very well looked after. We enjoyed utilising all the amenities the hotel had to offer such as yoga, gym, exercise classes etc. The high speed/reliable Internet also meant that we were able to work remotely without any issues. Thank you again to COMO Point Yamu for making our stay a very memorable one. We will be back!

The como hotel group is known for their fantastic offerings around the world. COMO at Yamu Point is no exception. Perched atop a peninsula standing out amongst multimillion dollar villas the hotel is fitting. The grand lobby is impressive and awe inspiring as you catch a glimpse of the bay views climbing to the top of the steps. The staff are helpful, cheerful and understand the needs of the customer. Their attention to detail and respect for privacy immediately noticed. Two restaurants meet the dining needs of their patrons with Italian and Thai flavours. Highly recommended for a get away. Drive your own car for the best experience as the hotel is in a rather secluded zone

Great hospitality level, thoughtful and detailed. Definitely coming back. Well designed hotel with great view and lots of photogenic spots. The breakfast was nice presented with variety of menus.

Lovely view, but somewhat disappointed with the services; 1. Housekeeping comes pretty late in the day at times and no turn down service. Not expected for the price they charge 2. We stayed for 6 nights… they didn’t change sheets till I complained after I got bitten by bug, with big red marks all over my back, upper arms and thighs on the 5th night 3. Staff were seemingly unfamiliar with the tourists sandbox rule. They didn’t provide us with appropriate information we need, and we almost missed our flight because of that 4. Inconsistent massage techniques. My husband enjoyed the first Indian head massage, both of us booked for the same massage subsequently but wasn’t the same as the one my husband’s maiden experience there, was completely different and it didn’t seemed to match the description. Overall I would say they are overpriced for what they offered.

Many spots for photography in a beautiful location. Beautiful architecture and landscape. Despite limited choices of breakfast but taste is good. Hotel located in the same area of residential. Service at the restaurant is impressive. But guest services could be improved as our request got seldom acknowledge. Wifi connection is poor with lots of delay.
