Mallika Bakers are a kind of landmark in Moratuwa. You will find this nice establishment just before Katubadda Colour lights when you're coming from the Colombo side. I love this because they serve many food items and it is always fresh. Due to Covid they have stopped some food items and removed as many tables as possible for the safety of its customers and also obey the rules and regulations set by MOH and the health ministry. This picture was taken on the 4th of November 2021 from the opposite side of the Mallika Bakers to show the full view. However, I should have taken a few more pictures on the side. My favourite is Hot Rose Pan (Bread) with Spicy Pol sambal and Dhal curry. But these days they don't make any curries due to Covid. But if you need Great Sri Lankan type Bread then this is the place for you. This place used to serve ppl when they order from their vehicle during any time of the day but maybe it is also stopped temporarily due to less staff and safety of the staff. However, they don't ask you to write your details anymore but a mask is a must when you enter. Also not n Air Conditioning space for customers to dinner and it is good for Covid situation but if not during 1 PM to 4 PM it is a bit uncomfortable to stay long at dinner. I also noticed they do annual charity and also many workers have continued to work for a long time with them. I believe that is a good indicator that how well the company treat the workers for the last few decades.

I just edited the 4-star rating I gave for Mallika Bakers in 2019 to 2-stars in August 2021. Now it has become one of the terrible places to get good food in the Moratuwa area. The quality of their short eats, fruit cakes, and Yellow Rice has become very low. Not worthy for the price we pay at all. I think their management changed from last year. The great place where we loved to eat is no more!

Food is average. Usually fresh. Cakes were horrible. Crumpled at the touch. Kottu was excellent as always. Quantity was plentiful. Service staff were really nice. Friendly. Served me well. Cashier was a tad bit grumpy. Didn't appreciate the attitude.

Very good location, and they have a good client base. But very low product quality and not paying attention for customers requirements. May be because of too much crowd. Need to improve.

Good old traditional Backery In Moratuwa area. Backery items are good and tea available. Fish buns are very tasty 👍

They have a great yellow rice in the afternoon from around 11.30 to 2pm ... its priced at lkr 380.. best around the area. Other food is also decent.

Good Place to take your meals.... Presently they services short eats and servicing maximum up to 8 personal at one time due to covid

I have been here regularly in every trip to kaluthara from my home town when I was small. There were a great variety of foods. Then finally I got a chance to go there recently still the place is same and food were super delicious and worth for the price. I had a date bar which was up to the moon. Love this place and having loving memories with my childhood.

This bakery has long history, and to my understanding there is a good image for this business. Only matter is the business strategy change with the changes of management.

Good place to buy some quality bakery products for very fair price. Rice options are also good. Bit hard to find a parking space.

Food quality is really good with fair prices and the service is also really good and fast. The environment of the shop also seems to be really clean.

Most of the time really difficult to park your vehicle due to busy area. Most bakery items are good and highly recommend for breads (පාන්). Not gonna recommending for Kotthu, and rice.

Food taste is very good.

Good clean affordable foods are available here. This places has an array of bakery foods ranging from bread to shorteats. They sell crust sliced and sandwich breads in the morning and evening. Better go early as breads tend to finish quick. Further they offer hoppers; plain, egg and sweet. Sweet hoopers are available in the morning hours after 10am while others are available in the evening.

Good place to take your food, and also they supplies clean and delicious foods here. I bought there chicken kottu and that's feels like heaven. Highly recommended and you should definitely try it.
