DONT STAY HERE! Changed room 4 times in two days before going to a different resort. First room a lot of mold, second one cockroaches, third one cockroaches and last one cockroaches as well. Their are some nice and helpfull people working there, however most of them are very rude. We also saw a staff member peeing against the site of a room. Also had to wait almost two hours to get a pizza. Terrible experience.

Went here for dinner, they charged around 12 euros for a gin and tonic! Not only that but possibly the worst one I've ever had, was definitely not tonic and if it was gin I'd love to know where it came from! If you are going to charge paris prices for a drink at least have the same quality! Shocking!

NEVER STAY HERE!!! We first arrived in a room with a lot of dirty hairs in the corner of the bathroom. The shower had just enough power to get the soap of your body and their was a lot of mold aswell in the shower. We asked for another room because it was so dirty. We got it and this one had mold in it aswell. We decided to stay in the room because it was cleaner then the previous room. I hopped in the shower and when I wanted to put on my underwear I found a nice suprise, a cockroach. My brother also found one immediatly after on the curtains. The day after we were out for the day and found a nice suprise in the room 3 more cockroaches. We asked for another room and got it after an hour of trying. In the new room first thing we noticed when we walked in was a cockroach. This one was thrown out and we decided that we would stay in this room because it looked clean. After we went out again we came back late in the evening and I decided to look for cockroaches to be sure their weren't any left. I found 6 more. The food was decent but we had to wait over a hour to get a pizza. The service was also not great. The island and the beach in contrast was nice.

Well I was just there for lunch as the hotel I was staying at didn't serve meals. The staff were not attentive. They're rather white skin pleasing. We sat there for 10 minutes and had to call them for the menu. After that we wanted to place an order but the staff were very busy attending a big group of people(whites ). I found it quite disrespectful and racist that they wouldn't attend us to take our order. I walked out of there with my 3 yr old. I showed them my disgust about their service, but no apologies or any sort of explanation.

Nice place in front of the beach. Swimming pool available. Good value for money.

The staffs there are very friendly. The fire show is the best! The food there is also good. Room is clean but there is some smell in the bathroom. But overall is still a good experience ☺️ The female manager is super nice and willing to help you with your questions. You can also book the snorkeling trip from counter which is very convenient! I went there during the World Cup so you can also enjoy watching the football game at the outdoor bar with the sounds of the waves and the foot in the soft warm sand 🥹 definitely a blast!

The room was really bad and not worth the price. It cost 4,000 THB per night, and during holidays, it went up to 15,000 THB per night. That's as expensive as rooms in big cities around the world, but the quality was nowhere close. The room had a lot of mold, was dirty, and looked like it hadn't been touched in 20 years. The lighting was terrible too. The entrance area was also poorly maintained. The bathrooms had very little water flow. The restaurant was disappointing as well. The staff were unfriendly and the food was below average. Even for island standards, it wasn't good."

Good location very quiet and just a few units on the resort. We were staying at room number B15 and 16. These two units are almost at the end of the resort, it more privacy and quiet. Room was ok but worth the money. The price is good for the location and also come with a breakfast. The beach at the resort is good and calm.

Room was dirty. There were hairs and sands on the floor from previous customers. Even we were bitten by bedbugs. Cockroach on dinner table. A lot of ants in the room. Towers were smelly. Totally not worth to stay.

It was a nice hotel overall. I expected the room to be a little better for the price. Great beach access and rooms are somewhat private for added comfort.

Lovely resort and very chilled. It's a quieter beach than others but I loved that about it too, at least for a couple of days it was perfect. The few restaurants on the beach are nice and friendly but do close early and might be a good idea to take your own beers and food for your stay because the shops are a bit more expensive. I would go again ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Samed Cabana and will certainly be returning. We stayed in a superior room and found it perfect for what we needed, clean, large room with all standard amenities. The room was literally a few steps from the beach, which was one of the best on the island. The hotel restaurant was great, staff were sometimes a little slow, but mostly because it was busy! We utilised the speedboat booking service offered by the hotel for pick-up and drop off and found it incredibly useful! Thanks to all the staff for our stay at Samed Cabana, we hope to be back soon!

First of all, please be aware that I’m reviewing only the restaurant, and not the resort as a whole. We are here on Christmas Eve. We ordered 9 dishes and everything was going well until the food started arriving. We got at least 2 wrong dishes and one that arrived an hour late. All the dishes, both western and Thai food, arrived cold. The meats especially were dry and cold, definitely microwaved. If your food is not cooked fresh, don’t put it on your menu. The cocktails were a little too strong and quite expensive. Overall not recommended. We fed some of our leftover bits to the cute stray dogs. I wonder if they even liked the food..

The location is 5 star in my opinion. It's located on a beach called Wong Duong Bay. My cabana was right on the beach and it was awesome for the kids. As far as everything else I would give it three and a half stars. I got the package where the food was included. Breakfast is a buffet which was good. Lunch was pretty much the same thing everyday and it was just okay. And I have to say dinner was pretty good. The rooms and the entire resort could use some upgrading. It's definitely pricey especially when it comes to Thailand. I think it could be a bit nicer. It's definitely not bad and I would go again. There's tons of places to stay on ko samet, some are brand new just different locations around the island. We really picked this place because it was right on the beach and the kids loved it. The bay was awesome for the kids swimming and playing in the water. Water was really clean and clear. There is a pool we never used it though.

Couldn’t agree more that this resort is a best one on Wongdeaun beach. But still, there is bad smell from the bathroom and made our stay to bad trip. The room is nice you can enjoy the view when you are still on the bed. The food and service is underrated. Overall is wonderful.

Rooms are basic but you can’t beat the proximity from your room to the beach. Its on a nice little cove with a good amount of activity- not too secluded but not too crowded. Lots of bars and restaurants to walk to along the beach. The water is just gorgeous.

It's ok but not worth the $140 a night. You pay for the beach. Everything else is average. Shower water pressure is low. Beds are old and you can feel all the springs in the mattress. Some of the staff are nice, others come across as unprofessional and nonchalant. We had the typical continental breakfast and there were still bottles and rubbish lying around from the night before. Breakfast runs till 10am and after 9am they stop refilling so you have to go ask for almost everything.

I had an issue about my room assignment when I arrived but management was excellent and took care of all my needs. Beautiful property, great food, amenities and activities. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, enjoy the sea and white sand beaches this is the place to go 💕😊

Go now if you can and have the place pretty much all to yourself durring the week. Everything was fantastic there. Great deals to be had now. Amazing getaway and only an hour plus away from Pattaya. Amazing beauty there. Super quiet and peaceful.

Received vouchers from The Malibu resort to have lunch here as theirs was not operating. I will save you time … don’t come here. Service just as bad as Malibu. The waitress actually asked one our our guest to pass the food seasoning to another guest in our party sitting at a different table. Food was poor too. Not recommend at all.

The employees are very friendly and the beach is wonderful! The rooms are clean and they have a good size like an apartment. But at this time now on Koh Samed it is real quiet since Covid start 2020.
