A training safe heaven to find your rhythm with great staff and management. Great for Muay Thai, Boxing and Weight Loss right now during Covid times. Vaccinated staff and most of the work is done outdoors or in the gym with fresh air circulation. Give it a try if you look for the experience, but don’t expect a 5-star luxury temple, but facilities which cater to the needs.

Where do I even start? This was my second trip to Kombat Group and it's the one place I never want to leave. My goal whenever I arrive is to leave feeling fitter than I did previously but I always leave with so much more. A fitter body, healthier mind and a stronger outlook on life. There is nothing I don’t love about the camp. The accommodations is fantastic, the food is exquisite and the facilities are top notch! All the staff (kitchen, cleaning and management) are some of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet and you’ll never see them without smile on their faces. The training is some of the best I’ve ever received. Pan, Big and Moon are exceptionally skilled Muay Thai Trainers. Not only that but they are incredible human beings too. Moon (my personal trainer) always did everything he could to push me to my limits and made the experience more fun than I could ever imagine. He is one of the main reasons I keep going back. Kombat Group wouldn’t be the same without him. I was also lucky enough to have a few private sessions with the boxing coach, Joel. And what an incredible person he is! His positivity is contagious, his energy endless and his knowledge limitless. If boxing is the way you want to go, you won’t be disappointed! A special shout out to Nat, Barbara, Toy and Ann for always being so welcoming and making you feel like family as soon as you step in through the door. You guys are truly amazing! Thank you Kombat Group for always creating the most unforgettable memories 🖤💛 Can't wait to be back! Will definitely stay longer next time 😍

I would like to say how fortunate I am to have stumbled upon Kombat Group. It is an amazing place to get you back on track to become fit and healthier. I felt very comfortable traveling to this camp by myself. I’ve met the most amazing people who became family. I would definitely recommend Kombat Group to friends and family. I’m already planning my return trip for next year which can’t come soon enough.

Amazing location, vibe & people. I went second time to the Kombat group for a month and had an amazing time. The food was excellent and tasty each day. The staff there were friendly and make me feel like I’m part of kombat family. Trainers are really fun and professional . They still push you a little here and there and still make the training fun. Every day I couldn't wait for the training . A great place to get out of the busy life and really focus on your body and mind The people at Kombat were all lovely and made the trip so much better. We make nice bunch of people and we visit together so many places, Restorant, island . My stay in kombat group was unforgettable . I can’t wait for my 3rd time .

There's not enough words to describe my experience at Kombat Group. Let's talk results: I spent 3 months here, lost 14kg of weight, 16kg of fat, and made a lifetime friendships. From day 1 they put you in a WhatsApp Group called "Kombat Group Family" and that's exactly what you get. A Family. From the trainers, to the cleaners, to the kitchen staff, the management, the activities, and vibes, this place has everything. Midway through my journey I had a motorbike accident and every one took care of me like my family would take care of me. Special shoutout to T, Barbara, Anna, and Nat for helping me in my journey. I'll remember you all for a lifetime. Can't wait to go back.

Only week at Kombat Group but time enough to appreciate the lovely care that all this family team gives to everyone that wants to live this experience. The Krus provide a hard but funny training with unconditional dedication to convert you into a more skilled Muay Thai or Boxing practioner whether you be a fighter or not. Friendship among customers is born just since the moment you meet them. If you would like to live a thai combat training adventure Kombat Group is your camp, do not hesitate!!!!

My 4-week stay at Kombat Group in Thailand was an unforgettable experience. From the friendly and welcoming staff to the outstanding accommodations, you felt at home from the moment you arrived. The boxing program was intense and challenging, and the trainers were exceptional (big shout out to Joel and Andrea!), providing personalized coaching to suit your needs and skill level. The meals provided were healthy and delicious, and the staff was always attentive and accommodating. If you are looking for a boxing camp that offers exceptional training, top-notch facilities, delicious food, and a warm and welcoming community, then Kombat Group in Thailand is the perfect place for you.

I spent 3 weeks at Kombat Group and enjoyed every single day. Primarily going there to lose weight and increase my fitness, after three weeks all expectations were met. The training conditions in and around the gym were as expected and the entire camp is clean and comfortable. The complete staff (coaches, cleaners, administrative staff) is always engaged to let onself feel welcome and „part of the family“. A special thanks to Ann and her kitchen crew who served us three very delicous and healthy meals a day and offering a variety of different breakfast possibiltys every morning. Overall my visit at Kombat Group was a fantastic, 10/10 experience! Thank you Kombat Group! I I’ll be back!

At first I had doubts going to Thailand and joining the Kombat Group. After 2 weeks of living and training there I can say with confidence: It was one of the best decisions in my life! I met some amazing people there to talk with. The food was delicious and healthy. I had tons of fun training together with the others and you get into the "Kombat Group Family" quickly. I don't regret any second of it. It was an incredible experience and I can highly recommend to everyone else to try it out! Kind regards Philipp1.0

First of all, I just want to say that the time I spent at Kombat Group was one of the best months of my life. Throughout my time here I had the pleasure of meeting some of the most kind, strong, and loving people, all of them with incredible backstories. The people here are extremely supportive and they felt like family in no time. As for the training, Moon, Pan, Joel, Big, and Christiano are all incredibly talented coaches and really sweet people. I was mostly training with Moon and Pan, and even though they were always laughing while they killed us during training, I loved every second of it. The food here is amazing and healthy. Ann is a great cook! And shout out to Toy, and Bird who also help out in the kitchen;) Lastly, shout out to Nat for managing this camp so well:) I miss you! Can't wait to come back!

I attended Kombat Group for a couple of weeks to kick start a new fitness regime. The place is fantastic. It’s so welcoming and tailored to what ever goals you want to meet. You could be a seasoned fighter looking for a camp, or a newbie looking to learn, you’ll be well catered for. Though the training is hardcore and intensive, the recovery, the food and the enthusiasm is great. It’s got a lovely communal atmosphere, with everyone out to support one another to push themselves. All in all, a great place!

Kombat group isn’t your classic Muay Thai Camp. It’s a place where you will be helped to reach your goals no matter what they are. It might be far away from everything but It’s really easy, by using Grab or a scooter, to go to the centre of Pattaya. The food is amazing and the staff is very nice. This might not be ideal if you have fighting dreams but you can make it work.

I originally booked a week at Kombat Group and ended up staying three! I did boxing and Muay Thai. The training is intense, but great. The camp is quiet and there are no distractions. Just training, eating, sleeping and relaxing by the pool between workout sessions. The gym is modern and well equipped. The staff is so friendly and you‘ll get served healthy meals every day. Had the best time here and met some wonderful people. It was hard to leave this place. I will definitely be back.

Awesome experience, amazing people - I had no experience in boxing before this & would highly recommend to anybody of any age or fitness level! I stayed here for 10 days back in march 2020. Barbara and her team were absolutely brilliant throughout. I ruptured a ligament in my ankle the day before I was meant to start here and Barbara was very helpful in allowing me to delay it by a few days to recover without charge. On arrival I received fantastic service all around and was given ice on demand for me foot as well as additional pillows to elevate it etc. I was a little worried about the training as I couldn't run or jump due to the injury but I strapped it up & Joel, Wilbeth, Wao, Cha and Juliane adapted the training for me so that I could comfortably complete sessions and build my strength up. I did one to ones with Joel and 2 x group sessions 6 days a week As a total novice the sessions were fantastic had people of all abilities there. I came here after backpacking for 4 months so wasn't in the best of shape but left after 10 days with a new found love for the sport and met loads of great people. I'd highly recommend this to anybody. If you're worried about not being good enough don't be - I had literally no boxing experience prior to this and injured my ankle pretty severely and would list it as one of my favourite parts of my 4 month trip. I'll be back one day for sure!

I recently had the pleasure of attending a 7-day boxing camp retreat at Kombat Group, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived until the day of departure, every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, the accommodation was outstanding. The rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably clean. It was evident that the staff takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and comfort. Waking up in such a pleasant environment truly set a positive tone for each day. The highlight of my retreat, however, was the training sessions with Joel and Jimmy. These dedicated trainers demonstrated an impressive level of expertise, and their passion for boxing was truly infectious. The workouts were challenging, engaging, and tailored to individual skill levels, ensuring that every participant could make the most out of their training experience. I left each session feeling empowered and motivated, thanks to their guidance and encouragement. The culinary experience at Kombat Group was equally delightful. Three delicious and sumptuous meals a day fueled our bodies for the intense training sessions. The menu was diverse, offering a variety of nutritious options that catered to different dietary preferences. The kitchen staff deserves special commendation for their culinary skills and their commitment to providing healthy, flavorful meals. What truly stood out during my stay was the exceptional quality of the staff. The entire team at Kombat Group, from the trainers to the administrative staff, demonstrated a level of professionalism and friendliness that made me feel welcome and valued. Their genuine dedication to ensuring that every guest had a positive experience was evident in every interaction. In conclusion, my 7-day boxing retreat at Kombat Group was nothing short of amazing. The combination of excellent training, comfortable accommodations, delicious meals, and a phenomenal staff made it a 5/5 experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Kombat Group to anyone seeking a top-notch boxing camp retreat. I am already looking forward to my next visit!

Wonderful experience, as soon as we entered we were greeted in a kind, warm but professional way. The training camp is surrounded by greenery, the training area is vast and well equipped. The staff is very prepared and follows you step by step, putting their preparation and will into play. For anyone who wants to have a unique experience I highly recommend it!

A really lovely place to jump start my training after 3 months of knackering backpacking and motorbiking. I turned up with a bad motorbike burn, tired and ill and left feeling stronger and ready to get back to my normal self and training in the UK after the way I was looked after. Kombat group is a camp that really makes you feel at home and gets you into the training regime as fast as physically possible. All the coaches are extremely friendly and kind but also help you learn and focus on your goals. No frills, no fuss and no over the top fitness influencer gimmicks. It’s a place where the focus is on your physical and mental well being and they get right down to basics. The boxing classes are incredibly fun and challenging and make you feel like you’ve improved by miles with each session. Joel and Jimmy are always smiling and laughing as they teach while pushing you very hard to be your best. I had PT with Jimmy who is probably one the hardest working and committed coaches I’ve met - willing to answer any and all questions and works really hard to understand all aspects of where you will need to improve in fitness and technically. Didn’t have the pleasure of a PT session with Joel but as a class teacher, he was extremely encouraging and always helpful with technique. The food is cooked with love and everyone looks out for each other. Barbara always checks if you’re ok as does the rest of the team. Additionally the camp allows members to help and volunteer at a children’s centre and partake in the community work they do there - the main reason I picked this camp over others. I can’t say much for Pattaya as it’s not my cup of tea - but Kombat group provides a real haven away from the madness and a great place to get your head straight and start your work 😊 Will be back soon.

I cannot recommend Kombat Group highly enough for anyone wanting a training holiday. I have just returned from 2 weeks at Kombat Group doing western boxing. As a solo traveler I was a little hesitant to commit to training for two weeks. However, after just one day of training I knew i had made the right decision. The trainers were absolutely fantastic. Their knowledge and enthusiasm made training an enjoyable experience and the improvement in my skills was phenomenal. The icing on the cake was the people i met along the way. Everyday was made better by having a group of amazing people to train and have a laugh with.

An all-inclusive fitness resort experience in Pattaya that you won't forget! Thank you to Barbara and Kombat Group team members for their diligence towards ensuring a high-standard of hospitality throughout the stay. Awesome training sessions that cater to all levels of martial arts experience and engaging coaches who will challenge and support you to reach your goals (shout out to Jimmy, Joel and Golf). The on-site kitchen serves healthy and tasty meals. Clean and well-kept facilities. Great serene location away from distractions of the city though still accessible for weekend tours and sightseeing. Kombat Group maintains a special family feel approach to the daily grind! I'll definitely be back.

Kombat group as one of the best experiences of my life. It is great for both kids and adults. I only was there for a week and I wish that I could stay there for ever. If you in to sports like boxing, kickboxing, Muay thai etc I would really recommend to go to Kombat group. They also have great food. They have great staff members. Sometimes on weekends you can go and watch fights with Kombat group.

My second time being at the camp and had the same great experience as last year. No complaints at all, staff, training, accommodation and food always a high standard. I especially enjoyed the new addition of the ice bath session every morning, with the thanks to Barbara guiding me through! Would definitely recommend and look forward to my return.

I spent two weeks in there and it was an amazing experience. They are a great team and staff is incredible, they make you feel at home. The structure is really nice, There are many comfortable rooms, the gym is in the center and as a beautiful garden all around. There is also a swimming pool where you can relax, and it's opened all day. For the training, the gym has everything you need and the trainers are some of the best that you can find in Thailand. You are gonna have great workouts! The food is incredible too; there is a nice area for breakfast, lunch and dinner where you can stay and enjoy the company of the other guests and eat tasty dishes prepared by the staff. In the free time you have a lot of choices: there are temples and beautiful structures to visit and so many activities that you can do, and also the main city, Pattaya, all about 15/20 minutes from the camp. So, all that said, if want to visit Thailand, stay in shape, train hard and really have a great time, go to Kombat Group.

If you are reading this and tempted to give Kombat Group a try: GO FOR IT. I spent 2 weeks training at the camp and the whole experience was phenomenal. Everyone at the camp (Trainers, support staff, participants) is friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. The food and accomodation are excellent. It just makes it so easy to get stuck in and enjoy the whole experience. The training both pushes you to train hard and is catered for the level you are at. Although you will definitely get the most out of the experience if you have at least a little previous knowledge and fitness. The music at training is also 🔥. I will be going again. I hope to see you there! (I'd recommend going for a run along the lake next to the camp - fantastic view.)

Fantastic camp that caters to all needs. Facilities and food are perfect, out of the way of all the noise of Pattaya city but easy to arrange transport if you like that kind of thing. All the staff are friendly and approachable and Christian (the pro fighter) could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I went for Muay Thai training and within a week i had the basics down, my only regret is that i hadn't booked longer. You are pushed, you learn about your weaknesses and strengths, you meet interesting people too. Cannot recommend enough, i will be back to advance my Muay Thai skills.

A fantastic gym with incredible trainers who go out their way to make you feel comfortable in your training. I never once felt out of place or judged, especially when starting out and getting to grips with everything, the whole staff are so supportive. Great facilities that create an inclusive and friendly environment too! Amazing food, I've never eaten so well! (il miss disco kitchen) Safe to say I will be back! To Barbara and the whole Kombat Team, Thank you :)

What a great place to be! You will be welcomed here on whatever level your are and get the feeling of a family atmosphere. It is a super nice camp just 20 Min. outside Pattaya with professional trainer's and coaches for MMA, Muay thai, K1, Boxing, Wheightloss and many other things. The camp is clean with different types of accomodation offering kind of all-inclusive packages. The food is fantastic and caters for all different diet needs. I only had a week and will certainly come again.

The rooms are here are a nice size and the whole layout of the camp is good. This place has everything you need here. Laundry, food, beverages, and of course the gym equipment that's available 24 hours a day. There's a lot of effort given by the staff to make the stay as comfortable as they can. The trainers seem to know their stuff so, you can be confident in approaching them for help. Its Hot & humid and lots of hard work is all you need. Perfect for training and reaching your fitness goals. Everyone here are on different fitness/combat levels.

How would I describe my experience at Kombat Boxing? One word… AMAZING! From the very first day it was nothing but warm smiles and good vibes. My trainer Joel went above and beyond to help me meet my fitness goals. He gave me a kick in the butt for motivation when I needed it, and also a hand to help me up when I was down. He takes his craft extremely serious and it’s easy to tell the difference between him and the trainers at some of the other gyms in town. They have found a long term customer in myself and I will definitely recommend them to all of my friends. Thank you to Barbra and the Kombat Boxing staff for the amazing service. Keep up the hard work! -Parris

I stayed at the Kombat group for a week in July to do western boxing. As an older man who is overweight I was somewhat apprehensive but there was no need to be at all. The Kombat group Thailand is a very special and unique place and I loved every minute of my stay there. Not only did it help me physically but also mentally as well. There really is a special atmosphere, something like I have never experienced before. It really is like a family. Every member of staff from the maids who clean your room to the trainers are wonderful. With good accommodation, food and excellent training if you are thinking about it just do it. I met some fantastic people during my stay and I can't wait to go back.

I came to Kombat group for mental and physical wellbeing reasons. I wanted to get in shape and learn some self-defence moves in the process. It was my first time with them, and i was nervous initially. I wasnt in good shape, did not exercise regularly at home, and knew that the programme would be intense. I envisioned fighters in the gym and me feeling really out of place. I had no experience with Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu or Krav Maga. But to my surprise, from the beginning, the treated me like family. The trainers, the staff, and the other students were like a little community. There was a mix of experienced fighters and newbies like me all here together, and despite the programme being challenging, i was so well supported throughout the process. The quality of the training was exceptional. The classes were small and sometimes even 1:1, and felt really personal. The trainers are experienced and know how to balance when to push you when you can do more and help care for you in case of any strains or injuries. Ive been to other fitness camps which are lovely, but lack the warmth, sense of community that KOMBAT embodies. I also was really inspired by the teachers who are not just trainers doing a job, but embody what it means to be a warrior. There’s no ego here, just amazing fighters who are here to help you achieve your goals. Though weight loss wasnt the primary objective, I was able to lose 7.5cm off my waist and am leaving feeling stronger, healthier physically and mentally. I took private lessons for BJJ and Muay Thai and they were really helpful in further progressing my technique. I had the chance to train with world class instructors who were not only coaches but embodied what it means to be a warrior. They challenged me physically and were always really engaged, caring. The facilities are lovely, like an oasis in Pattaya! Beautiful lush grounds, high quality training gym, and the rooms, swimming pool were so comfortable. The kitchen staff are super friendly and work hard to prepare healthy and tasty meals to support fitness and weight loss. The cleaning staff always brought a smile to my face as well with their incredible hard work to keep everything nice after a hard day’s training. I came to Kombat group for 4 weeks, and it has been difficult for me to leave. This place has helped me to find the best version of myself and i am so grateful for the chance to have trained here. The community of people were lovely as well. Made some good friendships and i will definitely be back!

This is my second time coming home to Kombat Group. It is very much a place that will stay in your heart forever. The facilities and the training that they provide is brilliant, the trainers are world class and the facilities offer anything you like whether basic or luxury. There is something for everyone, whether you are coming to train to become the next big fighter or if you are just going for weight loss, Kombat Group provides for all these needs and everything in between. It can be a daunting experience before going to somewhere which can sound so brutal to the typical westerner, but here you won't only find world class training, you will also find home. The staff and everyone around invite you into their lives to live how they live day to day, you will not only experience the training but you will see what it is like to live in Thailand and everything this wonderful place has to offer. As always I will see you all soon ❤️

In December of 2021, I became a part of the "Great Resignation" phenomenon and I quit my job of nearly 20 years, and I bought a one-way plane ticket to Thailand to invest in my physical and mental health by visiting Kombat Group. This was my third visit to Kombat Group in four years, and on this stay I ended up being lucky enough to spend four full months at Kombat Group. I documented my experience via "stories" on my Instagram account: StephenChristian139 that are saved as "Thailand" under my saved/highlight stories. They offer photos and film from all aspects of my four month experience at Kombat Group and in Thailand, in case you want to see for yourself. Perhaps the most helpful advice I can give to anyone is that if you have gone so far as to research fitness/boxing camps overseas/in Thailand, then don't stop now. Follow up on your curiosity and dare to make it happen. I won't speak much about the food, accommodations, training, because they are all top-notch and many other reviewers have already rightfully praised them, but I would like to highlight the "experience" of Kombat Group in my review. The team at camp helped me to navigate the challenges of travel during COVID, advising on the latest travel policies to enter Thailand, and also helped me to twice extend my visa allowing to stay longer. When I arrived to Kombat Group, like many people, I was tired, stressed, and out of shape due to 2+ years of living in the midst of the COVID global health pandemic. The trainers and the team at camp sat down with me to know me, understand my goals, understand my worries, and to help design all aspects of an experience to help me make the most of my time at Kombat Group. The training was incredible-- and I am unaware of many gyms anywhere around the world that allow you to push yourself so hard, while being supported by trainers that care deeply about your health, wellness, progress, and ultimately -- your success! In addition to the training, my time at Kombat Group pushed me to think about my mental health. I pushed myself to try and do things that I wasn't previously confident enough to try. I was surprised by the intensity of the yoga workouts, and how much they helped me physically. I had a dramatic improvement in my flexibility and posture thanks to the yoga program, but beyond that, I experienced an improvement in my ability to manage stress and my own self-confidence, both professionally and personally. Many businesses claim to value diversity, but in practice that commitment is lacking. This is not the case with Kombat Group. The camp is one of the most diverse environments I've experienced, and I have lived in countries all over the world. During my stay at camp we had people representing every corner of the world, every religion, race, lifestyle, and socio-economic background possible. Our differences were not ignored, but rather they were used to create a cohesive and supportive community. Much of my progress at camp is due to the encouragement and sharing with the other people at the camp. I learned from their life experiences, was taught to question assumptions, was inspired by their achievements, and even networked with people doing amazing things in their professional lives outside of Kombat Group. At 43 years old, I left camp physically and emotionally stronger than I have ever felt before in my life, and I left Thailand ready to start a new professional chapter with an added strength and self-confidence that I am sure will pay dividends in all aspects of my life.

Kombat group is an amazing place to get fit, learn about martial arts and also relax. Everyone is involved in making your stay as good as possible, and they succeed very much so. So many kind and loving people in one place make it a special community that I was happy to be apart of for a few weeks. Getting fit is one thing that is guaranteed! I did the Western Boxing training, guided by Joel, Jimmy and Golf! Three amazing dudes with a lot of skills, but also the patience to teach anybody! I would come back anytime. Also the neighborhood may have a bad reputation (Pattaya etc), but if you rent a scooter, you have enough spots to check out and go on a nice adventure. Much love to everybody there!

Staying at KOMBAT GROUP is an amazing experience for 3 mains reasons: 1) The training: The gym & equipment are great & clean. The training sessions are really diverse. Trainers always find new ways to make us sweat and push our limits. 2) The camp: Everything is included and available on the camp. Room are nice & clean and food is delicious. 3) The People: I met amazing people there: The others participants, the trainers and all the people working at Kombat Group (Cooks, cleaning ladies, receptionist and of course Barbara the manager). That's the KOMBAT GROUP family ! Same as most of the people who've be there, I'll be back !!!

The training here is world class. The atmosphere is inclusive, relaxing and friendly. The food is delicious and the rooms are spotless. The staff are probably nicer people and nicer to you than most of your friends at home 🤣 you won’t understand the hype until you get there but it’s real….I came on my own as young woman and felt completely at home the whole time. Kombat is is a special place and if you have the chance to visit, you must!

(Translated by Google) Excellent training camp. I especially had the good fortune to stay here for a month during which I trained, and not only; I met fantastic people. It is a very familiar environment and above all for the staff you are a person and not a number. The rooms are normal and the kitchen very good. It was a wonderful experience at the Kombat Group, I can only recommend it. (Original) Ottimo Camp per l'allenamento. On my arrival I was warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. Both the participants and the entire staff were friendly, open and very helpful at all times. There is a family atmosphere in which you can achieve your goals under excellent training conditions. The coaches (in my case: boxing) were masters of their trade and took me further every day. In addition to the boxing coaches, I would also like to mention the excellent yoga teacher, from whom I also learned a lot as well as the outstanding group of participants from all over the world who made this place a one in a lifetime experience. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again for the great time and hope that one day I will be able to return again.

I stayed for 10 days over Christmas and new year 2019/2020. Barbara and her staff are incredible at making you feel welcome and part of a family. Even with 10 days I saw a huge increase in my Strenght and overall fitness. Technique also improved hugely and I 100% recommend Kombat group.

I stayed in Kombat for a month and it exceeded my expectations. Increadibly talented team of boxers and staff to get you fighting better and in shape with the guidance, support and motivation everyone benefits from. Lots of variety in exercises, drills and training that maximises weight loss and muscle growth whilst improving overall function, form and boxing technique. The Camp is designed to get the most out of your training with comfortable rooms, ample food, swimming pool, spa services and yoga etc.

People should be wary of fighters trying to manipulate and get money from you. Had a very bad experience, be it a long time ago and under old management.

I spent a month at Kombat Group and completed the self-defense course. From the beginning I felt very familiar and met a lot of people from all over the world. Everyone in the camp has a very welcome and positive attitude. The whole team is amazing. I had several trainers (Muay Thai, Western Boxing, BJJ, Krav Maga, MMA) and each one is very professional, they all help you to improve and push you in a good way. The food was very varied, healthy and delicious. The rooms and the entire camp are very well equipped, clean and lovely. I highly recommend Kombat Group without hesitation. I will definitely come back soon!

Not one to usually write reviews, however the truly great experience at kombat group compelled me to do so. A friends recommendation is how I found Kombat group. I'm a complete beginner for western boxing. I was made to feel very welcome by all the friendly staff and in just 9 days made some great improvements to fitness and learnt an array of techniques for boxing. Very pleased I choose Kombat group, I hope to visit again and will reccomend without hesitation!

Training at Kombat Group is a phenomenal experience. I was here for a week, doing the western boxing camp and really wish I could’ve stayed longer. The quality of the training is exceptional, with multiple trainers on hand to ensure you are getting the focus needed to improve technique and fitness. First-class trainers and facilities, in a friendly environment with like-minded people. Regardless of whether you’re an experienced boxer or a beginner, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

  • 5/5 Pat P. 4 years ago on Google
My time at Kombat Group Thailand was an absolutely amazing experience. With no former martial arts experience, it was fantastic to be able to try out all the different disciplines and then choose what I liked best, so I ended up doing mostly BJJ, Krav Maga and the Functional Training classes. I truly loved everything there: the beautiful camp, the lovely staff, the delicious food, the fun and challenging training and last but not least the people! The atmosphere at Kombat is truly unique. Everybody is supportive of each other and accepts you just as you are. There is no room for big egos or a judgemental attitude. People who are vastly different from each other and may never have approached each other in any other place, often bond through their shared training experience and may end up becoming friends for life. It doesn't matter, what your goals are. Whether you have never done any sport in your life and want to get fit and healthy for the first time, or you already are a skilled athlete wanting to get to the next level, you will surely enjoy your time at Kombat and like so many others, probably come back again and again.

I stayed 5 days ,staff was great, food was tasty, trainers friendly and helpful.Highly recommended. For whom is choosing Mixed Martial Art training, I would like to recomnend planing your sessions ahead. If you are doing your sessions in a row you are sweatting on last MMA session and it is not so good at least for me. So it better to shedule some break 30 min before MMA/BJJ

My month at Kombat Group was one of the most positive transformative experiences of my life. I lost 8 kilos (18 pound), hardened up and improved my boxing skills. I also learned and grew as a person from participation in a familial community of kind and interesting people from all over the globe. Kombat Group is the perfect combination of rigor with comfort, structure with autonomy, and adventure with security. Because the program serves a spectrum from novice to champion, young to old and all shapes and sizes - I highly recommend for everyone to use Kombat Group to return home a better self.

Just back from 10 days boxing training at Kombat Group. Looking for an active training holiday? This is your RARE GEM in Asia. Simply the best instructors (Joel and team - all star group) with the right energy and personal dedication to make you reach for that extra round and get better each day. Good infrastructure on site with opportunities to explore other martial arts and fitness activities (bjj, krav maga, muay thai, yoga etc..) all under the same friendly but professional mindset. In addition, the great food (Thai and healthy) as well as on site massage to soothe your sore muscles at the end of each training day makes it all easy to focus on your body improvement (hardly got the need to leave the campus). Give it a try and get transformed into your better self!

Got boring after a week. It is a nice place, good facilities, good room, good food. But the Muay Thai training got boring after a few days. We did paw training all the time. It was great to have so much attention by the trainers but they could make better use of our time and also try different exercises. Back in Germany I found the training to be more fun and more engaging. Also, there wasn't much else to do (Pattaya is nasty), and not many people in the camp. I therefore didn't find many to connect with. No blame on the nice staff though. I think this place just isn't for everyone.

This is my second time staying at Kombat Group. I returned as the trainers are 1st class, the facilities are excellent and spotless and the camp feels like a second home. I have developed as a boxer and also learnt alot of tools and techniques that will help my coaching of kids in boxing when I return to the UK. I cannot thanks Joel, Waow and Welbeth enough. This time I have also tried BJJ and Krav Maga. The coaches Vitor and Christiano have been very patient with me and opened my eyes up to new things that I will continue to learn. They also now have an amazing Yoga instructor, Joycee who has helped me with some longterm issues and even though her massages are brutal, she has sent me home fixed!! I cannot recommend Kombat Group enough. Whatever your goals and level of experience you will be welcomed and supported to get the most out of your time here. The camp is in a secluded area, you can get to a lovely beach and temples via foot, bike or taxi and there are loads of things you can do on your day of rest but relaxing ny the pool is heaven after a hard week of training.

A local who's been training daily for two months now. Teachers are very experienced and friendly. I've fallen in love with jiu-jitsu and recently gotten into Muay Thai and functional training too. Feeling stronger and fitter by the day. The camp is beautiful and has a homey relaxing environment. So happy to have found this hidden gem.

Preparing for a new challenge and in need of a complete break, I booked 4 weeks at Kombat Group (Weight Loss Program). In addition of being warmly welcomed by Barbara and Toy, I discovered a unique, safe, family-oriented and motivating environment. The entire staff — from the housekeeping team, reception, kitchen leaded by Ann and trainers — were all extremely kind, smiling and dedicated. I pushed myself physically, attending several training sessions a day as well as the famous ice bath. Each class (whether for Functional, Muay Thai or Boxing, which I specially came for) was well structured. I was also able to attend a few Krav Maga and Yoga class, which were very interesting. In the end, I lost a few kilos on the scale, but above all I discovered my body's capacity to bulk up, defying any preconceived ideas I might have had. I feel healthier and stronger. To the Kombat team + awesome residents I met, thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this special journey! I recommend this place 100(0)%. I hope to be back soon. But in any case, this experience will remain engraved in my memory!

Toss your doubts aside - you will never regret the experience at Kombat Camp, I guarantee it!! I am convinced that there is no better training camp, be it for losing weight, boxing or muay thai. Whether you are about to have your first professional fight or are a complete beginner, the trainers adapt to each student individually. You are encouraged and supported thourghout your journey to achieve the best results for you. Before the camp, I could never have imagined sparring - the trainers encouraged me to give it a go, which turned out to be an incredibly valuable experience! Also, as a woman, I never felt uncomfortable or disadvantaged in any way. The whole atmosphere is appreciative, uplifting and supportive. Everyone is focussed on their own process and development (physically and mentally), there is no room for competition, drama or other nonsense. Just training, good food, relaxing by the pool and occasional ice baths :) Absolutely love it!!
