Quick to take your money over the phone, but trying to get refund after not going ahead is a joke, keep trying to call and was told I would get an email verifying the cancellation and my refund, it's now been a week and heard nothing, took me a few days to actually get a hold of anyone. The consultation didn't tell me anything I didn't already know, and was just an attempt to sell me a service (at over double price listed on their website) instead of actually telling me anything useful.

Horrible clinic only interested in your money. Paid £306 for tattoo removal sessions in September 2021. They kept postponing my appointments then finally asked that I use their other clinics out of town to get the sessions done. If I wanted to travel out of town to get my sessions done I wouldn’t have booked it where I live. Made a complaint about this and requested for a refund in December 2021 to date my complaint remains unresolved; no sessions, no refund. I do not recommend them

I had a great experience with Sk:n Reading. Great doctor, great receptionist, wonderful results. I highly recommend this clinic.

Second visit and extremely happy. Warm welcome friendly staff. My nurse Pippa was again extremely knowledgeable and explained every aspect of my treatment. I have every confidence in her and the team at Skin Clinic. I will be returning for regular treatments.

They don’t do refunds. Very disappointed as a customer who was expecting better customer service from them. Paid £25 for a consolation that was pointless, as there was no skin testing, nothing but advertising their products. Then paid for £66 for products that found out later I was allergic to them. This clinic should do better.

I saw Simon Harris for a consultation and he was absolutely brilliant. Went through all of my skin concerns in detail, gave me an honest overview of the treatment options and risks and did not try to persuade me one way or the other. Incredibly experienced and knowledgeable doctor.

I think her name was Izzy , she explained everything very thorough and she was very gentle throughout the treatment.

The best customer service and laser treatment. Staff are always accommodating and take their time to sort out any issues. Definitely recommend to anyone thinking about laser hair removal or facial!

Very highly recommended. I had treatment recently by Dr Harris for pre-cancerous lesions on my forehead. At the initial consultation Dr Harris gave a very detailed explanation of his diagnosis and the procedure that he recommended. This involved the use of a local anaesthetic and the cutting out of the lesions. I had this done the following week. I have been treated several times by Dr. Harris for similar problems - and I have always been impressed with his unhurried manner and his detailed explanation of the options. My judgement is that he enjoys his work and that he is extrememly good doctor. The Reception Staff provide a warm welcome and are helpful and informative.

Awful experience! The £150 consultation was a complete waste of money. They said they couldn't help me with Lazer mole removal at their clinic so recommended I go to another one of the skn clinics an hour and a half away to get this procedure done. For this I was asked to pay another consultation fee at a slightly discounted rate (£100 for second consultation). As soon as I got there the other dermatologist said they are not sure what I was told but they can't Lazer off my moles at all as they are flat. I was completely misdirected and have now wasted a lot of time and money due to this. When I emailed the manager before this for a simple request and she ignored my second email. I also called up asking to book an appointment to speak with them, they said they would contact me soon and never got back to me. They're very friendly and attentive before they have your money but as soon as they do they couldn't care less. I've already had a far better and less expensive experience with another dermatologist. Please do yourself a favour and go anywhere else. This clinic is unreliable and a complete waste of money, just read some of the other reviews that I wish I had done before booking and you will see what I'm talking about.

I’ve recently been having some problems with my skin and, whilst the consultant was nice and friendly, she wasn’t particularly helpful. She had some good knowledge of different products and their uses but couldn’t give me the “expert skin advice” I thought I’d receive as quoted on your website. I also wasn’t talked through the varying options for my skin, nor did I receive clear recommendations for my daily skin routine - both of which were also quoted on your website. I actually left feeling just as confused as when I arrived. I was also made to feel a little bit embarrassed about my skin and insecure about how I’ve been looking after it, which meant my self-esteem took even more of a knock. I feel really lost and I don’t know what to do now. After the money spent, I actually feel like I’ve been conned!

She showed a genuine passion for her craft and advised some products for me to take home with me. My new skincare routine has made a huge difference to both my skin and confidence. I am very happy with the service I received at this clinic. I went for hair laser removal initially and then also had a mole checked. Re the laser hair removal, I am extremely pleased with the results. All staff members were informative throughout and very friendly. My appointments were booked at times that suited me and I was always seen on time. I would highly recommend the Reading clinic. They often do deals on prices making them very competitive. The only criticism I would give if I had to, would be that you’re not always seen by the same person which can be daunting depending on what area is being lasered. However when I spoke to the staff about this they were accommodating and I then had the same person from there on. Re the mole checking, the process took around 2 minutes and I received my results within a couple of days, which was a detailed diagnostic report with close-up images. I would highly recommend this as it greatly put my mind at ease.

Best place to get treatments, the staff are professional and very friendly. You can always voice any concerns and things you are nervous about and they will reassure you and make sure you are comfortable first. Asma has done amazing for my underarm hair removal, usually I have sore/sensitive area after laser but not here with sk:n. Definitely going back for more treatments

Visited sk:n for the first time a few days ago for a hydrofacial with Asmaa. She made me feel really comfortable and answered any of my worries and questions. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, I had a lovely and relaxing experience and will be coming back again!
