Camping Balta Costin

Sehr empfehlenswert. Ruhig und mit Angelmöglichkeit.

Een prachtige plek waar we 2 dagen zijn geweest en waar we zeer gastvrij werden onthaald. De eigenaar wees ons een rustig plekje toe en bood vervolgens zijn eigen gemaakte, heerlijke, Palinka aan. Was erg gezellig en ongedwongen. John heeft muzikale talenten en heeft met een boomblad op bijbehorende videoclip een concert gespeeld. Hij speelt daarnaast nog op o.a. saxofoon. Men spreekt Duits, eigenaar, en Engels, vrouw. We hadden ook nog eens het weer aan onze kant, dus de middag bij ongeveer 28C lezend en rustig buiten doorgebracht. Een AANRADER deze Camperplaats!!

Un loc de poveste...

Sehr sauberer gemütlicher Campingplatz an einen kleinen See. Sehr netter Besitzer, der gut deutsch spricht und gleich mal Schnäpschen spendiert. Am Abend kam er mit einem selbst gebackenen leckeren Kuchen zum Nachtisch vorbei und erkundigte sich nochmal ob auch alles in Ordnung ist. Herzlichen Dank!

Great camp, we arrived around 21:30 with no prior booking and we were greeted by very friendly owners with hospitality. Accommodations are above level, and the location itself is very nice. If I'll return to Romania in the future, I'm sure I'll stop here for a night again

A gem in the North of Romania. Great campground with large trees for shade and a small lake full of fish. All amenities readily available and super clean facilities. The hosts are amazing and super friendly! Definitely recommend.

I stayed at this campsite in October 2023 during my motorbike trip to Georgia. It was late when I got there. I had nothing to eat. The owners not serving a food there, but they prepared dinner for me. And I also got a bottle of water. You can communicate in Romanian, English and German. At the campsite you can rent a wooden cosy house or set up a tent. I rented a wooden house everything was super clean. A very peaceful place. There is a small lake and possibility of fishing. I will definitely go back there with my family. Thank you.

Wonderful quiet and well-kept place with very nice owner couple who offered us cake and self-brewed schnaps at arrival. If also interested in fishing this place is perfect.

To był nasz pierwszy camping w Rumunii, dotarliśmy późnym wieczorem 24 sierpnia , a mimo to gospodarze przyjęli nas serdecznie, nie chlebem i solą, ale pysznym ciastem i mocna palinka. Po długiej podróży smakowało wyjatkowo 😄. Czysciutkie sanitariaty, piękny teren. Spędziliśmy tam niestety tylko jedna noc, następnego dnia ruszyliśmy dalej. Ale miłe wspomnienia z nami pozostaną. Dziękuję za prezencik od Pawia😉. Szczerze polecamy to miejsce Czestochowianie

During July, exhausted from a long Art-transport (for the V. MKH-Biennale in Halberstadt, Germany) on Rumania’s overheated tarmac roads, I found an online sign for a camping site. I turned off into an industrial looking area, to the left an old and desolated factory of some sort. Doubt crept into my mind and I began to think up possibilities, where and how to turn my transporter round on a road, that had now considerably narrowed… Now, of course, I find that extremely funny, for what I came across then was the most idyllic oasis. I was greeted with a warm, broad smile. Soon after I had settled in overlooking a small, paradisiacal lake with lots of trees, I found myself in the good company of the warm-hearted owner and his wife, being offered, Țuică (of course home distilled from plums : ) We, there were other travelers too, had a loooong chat and laughed much about Balta Costin’s antics and stories late into the night. So, my recommendation? Well, I truly hope that your experience will turn out as wonderful as mine. Vă mulţumesc!!!

I was here with family and dogs. Amazing place by a fish pond. Very clean toilets/showers with attention to details like trash bins close to sitting areas. Quiet, relaxed place and host was very friendly, even greated us with some Romanian medicine :) We would recommend.
