i have eaten here a few times - a fantastic place for breakfast, brunch or lunch…. portion sizes are great and prices reasonable- food is excellent - i believe most is made from scratch…. family ran - and they have a place in Golden as well… this time around I had the green chili huevos and it was delicious and filling

One of the best breakfast joints I’ve ever been to! Was the perfect starting spot before a big day on the hill.

Quality home cooked food, wonderful service and interesting decor. The soup and sandwich was tasty. The server allowed me to customize my sandwich and it was perfect. The Caesar was perfectly made and a deal. I will be back.

Ordered the veggie omelette, Bri avocado sandwich and the smoked salmon eggs beni. They were fantastic, the omelette was totally different then anything we've had before. Place was clean with a retro/outdoorsy feel, service was good and fairly quick. Pricing was average, pretty much at par with other similar places but the most important aspect of the whole experience was the coffee, it was fantastic enough to drink black and still be excellent, unlike other places where coffee must be diluted with other items to give it a better taste.

Super cool place to stop by on the way from Rockies for breakfast. Have a unique atmosphere, and the food is gorgeous. Never ate such good bacon as here

Excellent breakfast with decent coffee and a shelf of various hot sauces if you feel like spicing your breakfast up. My partner and I stopped here while passing through for breakfast. I ordered the lumberjack with pancakes and my partner ordered the chorizo breakfast bowl. The lumber jack is a hefty breakfast definitely bring your appetite for this one, I especially appreciated the option for pan cakes or French toast, if I'm not mistaken the bacon was locally sourced, as for my partners dish the chorizo breakfast bowl, it was nicely put together and the heat from the sausage worked well with the eggs and melted cheese. I definitely recommend coming here for breakfast, also I enjoyed how the restaurant was decorated with old photos of the area and pictures supplied from local museums, it was a nice touch

We came in about 11am and there wasn’t too many people inside but the speed of the service was so quick you would have thought we were the only people in the restaurant. The history in the restaurant was just amazing. And the food was to die for! If you’re needing a breakfast spot in revelstoke I would 100% recommend or if you’re hungover and need some breakfast I can imagine the food here would do you good! Also make sure to try their hot sauce!

I ordered the 3sausage breakfast bowl, it had way too much sauce on it, and too many mushrooms. It was almost mushroom soup with eggs and some potatoes. The servers were friendly enough, food came fast, but I was never even asked how my meal was, I only managed to eat 40% of it. I’m sure they have some better offerings, I just wouldn’t recommend the 3 sausage breakfast bowl. Toast was great. Coffee was fine.

Quick and pleasant service. The atmosphere is super charming, has a very old timey feel. Food was okay, nothing on the menu was labelled, just listed ingredients, which caused some issues when we were ordering.

Since there was such great ratings I had no doubt about going to this place. The service was fine, but not kind, and coffee cups and a carafe was thrown onto the table with no explanation. Serve your self I guess? And not to mention the coffee was so bad. Practically just water. Haven’t had coffee like that in a long time. The food came out timely, but we were one of two tables so that’s not saying much. The side of biscuits I ordered were so dry even with the gravy on top, and the bacon in the gravy tasted rotten. I paid $7.50 just for that side I couldn’t even finish. The BIGGEST issue for me was the mold on the top of the ketchup bottle that the owner brought to our table. How long does it take for ketchup to mold like that? I can’t even imagine the state of the back of house if this is what they’re willing to show us in the front. They’re overdue for a health and safety inspection. I don’t recommend going here.

Great place for breakfast. Highly recommend staff is very very kind and the eggs Benedict was one of the best I ever had. And the bacon was amazing, perfectly cooked, crispy, on the outside, thick and flavorful. I must say, everything looked great, you won’t be disappointed.

Dropped by here for breakfast before skiing. Beautiful ambience, lovely owner and staffs. Pan fries are the best!

Weird to me that something called a cafe, has nothing cafe to drink besides plain coffee and plain tea. Disappointing start to our experience. Followed with, despite having a lunch menu, being told no lunch menu was available to order from at 12:30. We were prepared to walk out at this point but decided to try the food. Had the breakfast sandwich. Food was bland. Most likely could have made a better one at home. Owner seems like a decent guy. Not great service though.

Was excited to try this place, but unfortunately it was overall mediocre. Coffee was 2/10, worse than Denny’s. The food itself was also just OK, some parts better than others. I ordered soft poached eggs and the yolks came out hard. Pancakes tasted like they were out of a “just add water” box. Bacon and sausage was good. Service again was just ok. There was only 1 other table when we were there, and it was hard to get the waitress’ attention. Not the worst breakfast I’ve ever had, but for all the positive reviews and the price, I was disappointed.

I enjoyed the bacon and California Eggs Benny very much. Served on a bagel vs an English muffin! I was surprised how good that was. They left an entire pot of coffee and water on our table and didn’t harass us with annoying visits to ask “how’s everything tasting” like so many other places do. The decor is quirky and eye catching. A great spot to get hangover dishes that fit the bill. I’d eat here again.

We stopped here for brunch on our way to Banff. It was a random choice but couldn’t have been better, small menu but with great options, great service, everything was absolutely delicious!!

Had tasted their Texas burrrito and Grilled Chicken bowl. Excellent taste. A must go place for breakfast or lunch.
