I decided to wander in and try the take out at this respectable looking place after having tried several of their competitor’s meals it’s only fair to give them a try. Anyway upon wandering in I was amazed at the size of the place, it’s cavernous! The place was busy but it’s so big that it was hard to find anyone. Nice very comfy decor, polite staff and the food was quite good, my only real disappointment was the price and the smaller portions, although the quality of the good was really very good and the taste was also quite good, the price was considerably higher than most other places in town for similar fare and almost double for similar selections at places in the lower mainland, regardless I know this is a resort town so one has to be prepared to pay higher prices I guess.

Nice cold beer on a hot day! The Lasagna was incredible and baked to perfection. Staff were quick and friendly.

I had the pep and mushroom pizza along with a order of honey garlic chicken wings. I think it is top 3 for best pizza I ever ate. Even the last piece was still hot and I ate the chicken wings first. Service was ok. Would recommend for sure if you are spending time in Revelstoke.

Well it was close by and highly rated so off we went. The menu is bog standard stuff, nothing innovative nor exciting here. But there's nothing necessarily wrong with that! We had a good idea what we're getting into so no surprise. I gotta give it to them, execution was pretty dang good and very reasonable prices (at least relative to what I'm used to). We were all stuffed and rolling out of there with plenty to spare for breakfast tomorrow, yet our tummies were otherwise quite happy and nobody feeling bloated. For the kind of restaurant it is, it ain't pretending to be anything else and it delivers what it promises. Yeah, I'll give it a thumbs up. Looking for a pizza and steakhouse? Can't go wrong here! I'd come again if I were in town.

I ordered pizza for delivery last night, and it cost me $35 with the tip. Sadly, it was one of the worst pizzas I’ve had in a while. The crust was soggy, making it impossible to hold a slice without everything falling apart. There was too much cheese, and it didn’t even melt properly. We, 2 hungry adults, ended up throwing away half of the pizza. I DO NOT recommend this place.

This was our last meal on our 10-day trip, and the most expensive one. It was also the most disappointing. The food was not bad, but nothing out of the ordinary either. The service, however, was the worst I've seen in a long time. Our server was very good about getting our order, bringing the drinks and the appetizer. After that it went down hill fast. Our entrees were supposed to come with garlic toast, which appeared half way through our meal. That was the last we saw of our waitress. She never came by to check on our drinks, offer more water, take away our finished dinner plates or offer desserts. We literally never saw her again. After waiting forever my husband and I decided to stand up and walk to the hostess station, where our waitress magically appeared without an apology, just to give us our check. I'm not coming back.

Read the fantastic reviews so looked forward to going. Everything was fine except the food, pretty bad. Pizza was 90% greasy dough which was little burnt on the base, topping slid off instantly. I had ribs which were very dry sadly, possibly worst ribs I've ever had. Steak was ok. Fries were nice but greasy again. Overall really bad. Not sure if I'm just used to European cooking and this is the normal North American food. Sorry of I'm over reacting.

Oh the Calamari...stop in the name of Heavenly Love along with My yummy Long Island Iced Tea Deal! Oscar Steak was De-wishlicious more every BITE! Peppercorn Steak was Phenomenally Scrumptious! Need to work on some Mouth Watering Desserts & Drinks...otherwise we would still be sitting there writing reviews of the state of Foodie Heaven 😊😋😁

I really Really REALLY wanted to like this place. The reviews were pretty good and I was craving steak. It was a pretty awful experience from start to finish. First we were acknowledged by one person as they ran past stating they would be back in a minute. Several others walked past us, wouldn't make eye contact and ignored our existence. Several minutes pass and a hostess comes back up front and informs us they are all full on both sides. We decide to wait. We are seated a few minutes later. We are not told any specials or any alterations to the menu, we are asked if we know what we want. I go to order the Zalas Caesar, they are out of all the toppings. Alright, next we order steak and chicken. I order Zalas steak medium rare with rice pilaf. My partner ordered bbq chicken with spaghetti and fries. The food came fast enough. It was pretty awful. My steak was lucky if it was medium well, if not well done for most throughout. The hollandaise on my steak tasted like water and flour. My partners chicken was waaaaay overcooked and slathered in an overly sweet bbq sauce that tasted like original bullseye. It looked like it was splattered over the chicken and plate last minute. The garlic bread I literally bounced off the table it was so hard. Worst of all, the spaghetti tasted like it was made with sugar and cough syrup. We couldn't finish either of our plates. Our server never came back to quality check our food. We paid and left as fast as possible. Awful experience, we will never be back. Do not recommend.

Great value for an affordable large 1 topping pizza. I recommend the large pepperoni pizza with two house dips. They go heavy on the cheese which was delicious. Very friendly delivery driver. Arrived with in 30 minutes.

This unassuming little restaurant has some pretty good food! My son enjoyed the pepperoni and cheese pizza, my wife enjoyed the Caesar salad, and my daughter enjoyed the perogies. I had the french fries and they were prepared quite well, very flavorful and crunchy. The only challenge about this place is that they don't have much in the way of choices if you are trying to avoid wheat products (which is how I ended up eating french fries for dinner).

We paid $32+tax +delivery for Penne Alfredo and SMALL PIZZA for $22.5+tax+delivery. The girl who was taking an order didn’t mention that they have extra charge of $12!!! For adding chicken. The pass has 5 pieces of chicken. Can you imagine from $29 to $32!!! It would be be ethical to mention! The food is full of pasta and has leas cream and veggies. Unfair and unhappy! Try offer some value to customers.Simply not right.

Always love zalas. Been going here for over 30 years. The food is still awesome. Made reservations for our anniversary and was given a nice private booth. Usually get a steak, which we both did. Ordered a Cesar salad and garlic cheese prawns to share as a starter. 👌 Wife got her favourite peppercorn steak, loaded baked potato and veggies👌 I got the 12oz sirloin, with more prawns, loaded baked potatoes and veggies. My god were we stuffed. Everything tasted deadly 👍👍 Steak was cooked a perfect rare😍👍 Had a few drinks. As well What a good place to go still. All the staff was friendly ect. Didn't have to wait long at all for service or the food. 5🌟

Had to try their pizzas as we read a lot of good reviews on them. They were really good and filling. Would highly recommend. They also mix some great drinks - although they did run out of coronas. The atmosphere was a little dark/ dated, and the bathrooms could use some tlc. Would eat here again!

The fried Greek cheese is unique. I've never seen it before. Steak was good. I liked that I could get pasta instead of fries. That gave a good, well-rounded experience of the food this restaurant offers.

Got some pizza delivered to my hotel from Zalas after a long day on the mountain. Even though my hotel was fairly far away, it arrived pretty quick and was great. Highly recommend the carnivore pizza.

First time here, with a group of us, as I ordered the Zalas pizza special. They have other menu entree but nothing stood out. I’ve tried many different pizza restaurant and would say this pizza was average at best. The toppings was fine but the pizza dough was way to thick. It would have been nice to provide a option for thin crust but don’t seem available. At least, it wasn’t on the menu or mentioned. The service was decent.

Friendly, fast service. There is a restaurant side and bar side. Variety of choices in the menu. We had the Zalas steak. You get two shrimp and two scallops on top. The side veggies were beans. Loaded baked potatoes was great. Steak was cooked perfectly. Clean restaurant. Would return, one of the better choices in town!

Been to Revelstoke many times. First time eating here, and it won't be the last. My wife actually suggested this place as my usual go to (when I'm on my motorcycle) was closed. Anyways, we opted for pizza and a couple of drinks. The pizza was amazingly awesome. The crust was crunchy and had a good amount of toppings. Service was excellent. Cannot say how anything else was but it was busy and we heard no complaints. The other good thing is no need to go into the core of town as this is pretty close to the highway.
