Quaint little museum in Revelstoke with a little souvenir store. Nice place to drop in if you have some extra time. It wasn’t busy when we went so you can easily buy tickets on-site.

The front desk has a very knowledgeable person who shares history and local happenings. Wonderful museum of local artifacts, real life items- fur jacket in Bison for an explorer, wee opium bottles, gold panning, skiing and more! $5 entry for adults. The gift shop has really cool local artists as their focus. Some first nations art and books. Would enjoy going again!

Small but very interesting and worth a visit. You can learn a lot about the town and its history. And the friendly staff can answer all your questions.

Great history lesson on revelstoke and BC. Clean and well organized woth easy to follow progression. I liked that it was history on everything with cool well labeled artifacts. Multiple floors where the upstairs had a drawing area to occupy kids. I wish they had replica vintage BC plates for sale. Those were awesome 👌

I love museums!! The history of our country needs to be celebrated and past down to future generations. Learn about the history of skiing, the railroad & much more. Admission is $4 & is well worth it

There were several items of interest at the museum for me. The scavenger hunt made the experience fun for our 7yr old (and us too). I loved learning about the original people of this land, the Sinixt, and would have liked even more about them and how they lived before, during and post colonial settlement. I appreciated learning about the creation of the reservoir, and how that impacted the people who lived there, as well as its environmental impact. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the gift shop was lovely. Thanks for having us!

Some sad stories of avalanche victims. In 1910 a disaster claimed the life of a Scotsman at only 48 years of age, he was also the oldest of the 54 fatalities. The staff are very nice. They explained more detailed information on the history of Revelstoke.

This museum is as educational as the railway museum. There is a lot to learn from looking around there.
