It's
heli-skiing
so
it's
obviously
going
to
be
a
great
time,
but
unfortunately
we
left
our
trip
with
them
feeling
a
bit
underwhelmed.
If
this
was
my
first
go
around
I'd
probably
have
given
them
4,
maybe
even
5
starts,
but
having
been
on
trips
with
a
few
other
operations
the
experience
with
Selkirk
just
wasn't
as
good.
Biggest
downfall
for
us
was
that
we
just
didn't
get
really
click
with
our
guide
during
the
week
that
we
were
there.
I've
done
a
few
trips
with
CMH
and
some
days
we
loved
our
guide,
other
days
they
were
just
OK,
but
when
they
were
just
OK
we
only
had
them
for
a
day
and
then
rode
with
someone
else
the
following
day.
With
Selkirk
we
were
stuck
with
the
same
guy
all
5
days
as
well
in
the
evenings
for
dinner
etc.
From
the
30
or
so
guided
days
I've
had
in
the
backcountry
he
was
unfortunately
in
the
bottom
3-5
guides
I've
ridden
with.
When
you're
stuck
with
the
same
guide
the
whole
trip
it
really
makes
the
whole
experience
dependent
on
how
you
click
with
the
guide
and
in
this
case
we
just
didn't
click
(we
interacted
with
one
of
the
other
guides
out
there
a
few
times,
Joey,
and
I'm
sure
had
we
been
in
his
group
the
whole
time
the
experience
would
have
been
completely
different)
I'd
say
still
a
great
option
for
someone
looking
to
heli-ski
for
their
first
time
and
I
could
see
groups
going
and
loving
it
if
they
get
matched
up
with
the
right
guide.
I
personally
probably
wouldn't
go
back
though.
I'd
rather
go
on
another
trip
with
CMH
if
it's
going
to
be
in
a
big
12
guest
heli
in
Revelstoke,
or
try
another
outfit
there.
Better
yet,
skip
the
big
heli
and
get
into
an
A-Star
with
someone
like
Stellar
down
in
Nelson!
