(Translated by Google) Beautifully situated on the edge of Veenendaal, in beautiful surroundings, easily accessible by car and bicycle. The story of the Grebbe Line is told in an important historical place. There is a nice clear exhibition. Suitable for young and old. You can take a nice walk outside. Reservations for the tour are recommended!

(Translated by Google) The Grebbelinie visitor center is a nice (small) outing. Of the fort itself only the earthen walls remain and here and there some remains of a cannon bunker or two. They did rebuild a few things, such as a piece of trench. The information center gives a nice overview of military history. A nice stopover for those interested. Look... I am an expat that now calls this area my local. My father in law suggested we take a look at this museum as the Grebbelinie is a famous point in war times. The €12 admission fee is steep for how little is actually there, however understand wages and overheads need to be paid. You can learn everything about the Grebbelinie from Google and riding around the local area, viewing the actual bunker remains along the bike paths. The museum grounds had been recreated by excavator a few years ago, so its actually quite disappointing. Unless you're a super war buff that totally loves this kind of stuff, save your money and explore the free, real Grebbelinie bunkers instead.

A location where you would not immediately expect a restaurant. The food was good but the decor of the restaurant was somewhat impersonal.

Small but nice museum. They could provide some more information on the outside area. Think of information on signs with photos as it was.

Small but nice museum, nice walk along the old ramparts of Fort Buursteeg. Very nice volunteers in the museum. We can be grateful to them for that.
