I used to go on the ferry with my friend, but I'll never go back there because last weekend I was there and I was kicked out of the bar after trying to report a homophobic guy who was bothering girls who just wanted to dance. I looked for one of the drag queens, because I had already heard that the security guards at the place don't do ANYTHING, so I told her that the guy was bothering me and that he had been rude to me in the bathroom and on the dance floor, typical homophobe trying to create trouble. So the drag queen called security, who came to me and asked me where I was from. Thinking that she would help me, I told her that I am Israeli and tried to tell her the story of what was happening, but IMMEDIATELY she grabbed my arm and led me outside. I asked her several times what I had done, and she simply said that I should leave. In other words, I was being a victim of homophobia, I was trying to help the girls who were being bothered, and security was kicking me out for it. It would be because of that, or it would be because I'm Israeli, include I found it very strange for her to ask me where I'm from and then immediately kick me out. I was wearing a necklace with a Star of David, which makes a lot of things clear. I tried to argue in several ways and asked her to give me a real reason to expel me, but I had nothing to justify it, except that she was protecting that man who was bothering people and that she was being racist/xenophobic towards me. I've been to many places around the world, but the Ferry is definitely on my list of places to never set foot in again because it was the first time when I became oppressor when in the true I was being oppressed. The fact is that, given what has happened in my country, a security guard asking me where I'm from and then expelling me without just cause, I need to warn others like me, Israelis/Jews to be very careful around this place, because unfortunately we are an unhappy minority there. I'm sad, I'm feeling totally wronged and I'm really, really afraid of the things they collude with inside.

One of the best gay clubs in Rotterdam, they play pop music and the crowd at the place is quite mixed and nice. They close a bit early on Fridays (2 am) but Saturday is a bit better, they extend it one hour closing at 3 am. Drinks are around 9-10 euros each. There’s no cover fee to get in.

RACIST BAR😡😡🤬!! My friends and I went to this bar and had a traumatic evening!! The WYT bartender didn’t want to recognise my friend when she wanted to order something to drink.. SEVERAL TIMES( lucky that there was another bartender which as a black individual who took her order) !! And than one foolish WYT waitress took my friends cups away without them being finished!! When we asked for our money back the called security on us and instead of listening to us they threatened us with the police and One guy even grab my friends arm!! Racism, misogynynoir and queerphobic AF!! Never again!!

Really cool interior but the people they let in after dining hours for clubbing times, are sometimes kind of weird. (Only some of course!) As in they will harass the girls that are just trying to have a good time, and security won't do anything about it. Music changes per DJ so sometimes nice, sometimes bleh! Also a friend was treated horribly here when the wardrobe personnel lost her coat. The staff then proceeded to blame it on my friend and call the police. Even the police agreed it was weird and asked why the staff reacted this way, why they were treating my friend (who was constantly cooperating) in a ridiculously antagonistic manner. Coat was found in said wardrobe on the floor afterwards, so staff was at fault.

Sexist! We were on the toilet (just one for woman) and rolling cigarettes while we were waiting, and the security (male) tried to enter the female toilet because he thought we where smoking. Friends told him we where on the toilet and he tried to enter anyway. No respect and no boundaries. This should be a safe space where the queer community is respected but it was absolutely not!

The most happening gay bar in the city! Around 9pm, staff starts turning the restaurant into a proper dance floor. There’s a steady flow of young patrons it was nice seeing them enjoying their night while reminiscing our younger days haha.

Gay bar that has sexist door policy. Had to wait 45 minutes only to be told that the "women" of our group can go in and the "men" have to wait. After telling them we will just wait all together, because we think it's not nice to have such door policy and its not lgbtq+ friendly, the bouncer got super disrespectful and condescending and said that we can also just go home. Immediately left and went to another bar 2 streets further where they dont have sexist door policy and treat you with respect. Dont go here, apparently its not lgbtq+ friendly

Nice place. The music is always nice and up to date, however, the playlist is always the same. A bit more variation would be great

Ferry used to be my favourite place in town and as a woman I always felt safe in that space. I’ve been there many many times last year. Last Thursday, I was there with a group of friends and an older man just came and grabbed my butt. I immediately looked at him and said: hey stop, and he simply laughed and left. I didn’t know the man. I was 100% sober, cause I didn’t drink anything and it was early. I decided to leave but tried to talk to security before leaving, to check if there was anything I could do. The first security I spoke to understood me and said they could put him out if I could find him - unfortunately she had a call to solve a problem somewhere else in the club and I was left with another security (blonde lady with blue eyes) and had to explain everything again. She said there was nothing she could do and because “it’s a gay club and he’s probably a gay man” I should forget about it, “it happens, if you don’t want this to happen don’t go to clubs” it’s what I heard. That’s ridiculous in so many levels, and I felt so disrespected, twice! When I started to go to Ferry, a friend said it wasn’t safe for women, only for men, but I was so in love with the place that I rejected that opinion immediately. But now I see she was right. I unfortunately won’t return and the whole situation was very disrespectful and triggering for me. I hope Ferry management team can teach better the security and this kind of thing doesn’t happen again, cause that’s unacceptable.

Great friendly gay venue in Rotterdam. We were made very welcome as non-regulars. Visited here a couple of times with friends on a short stay to the city. The venue is a great space, very well designed for various events with a lovely tall ceiling and tasteful decor. The staff are all very attentive and we all had lovely burgers for dinner one night. Good range of drinks with speedy service. Saw the drag acts on a Monday night. Didn’t expect a venue to be full on the first weeknight of the week but it was!

Best gay bar in town, great atmosphere and good drinks. The music hurts your ears though, poor speaker system and way too loud.

The best place in Rotterdam. I was there yesterday (Thursday), which was a Karaoke night, and omg it was amazing. Planning to go tonight too. The bartenders were so nice and helpful, especially there was a bartender I don’t know her name but she was amazing. And the drag queen named Amiri The Villain, she was amazing and very nice, everyone loved her, 5 stars for her ❤️. I had a blast, and it was my first time there since I’m on vacation in Rotterdam

We’re two gay couples visiting Rotterdam for a couple of days. Turned away by a very unfriendly security guy for no reason at all. Not much else happening on a Monday night so ruined our evening.

On 31/12/2023 I decided to go to the New Year's Eve party that we had paid 20 euros each for in advance but, surprisingly, we left the bar to get cigarettes that I had left in my car and the two security gards at the door refused to let us in because, apparently, there was a rule on the ticket that didn't allow us to re-enter the bar after we had left. I checked the e-mail several times and the ticket and there was no information about this at all. Besides, we weren't drunk or anything. They simply refused us to enter the bar again and, unfortunately, we paid 20 euros each for NOTHING. I feel like it was a scam. I'm very disappointed with this situation, as I am/was a regular customer.

I'm 100% sure this is the best club in the Netherlands. Really nice space, nice pop music on Fridays (even though the playlist is pretty much the same always) and free entrance. Definitely my favorite club in the Netherlands.

RACIST CLUB EVER! On 23rd July 2022 my friends and I (queer black cis- women from germany) made a birthday weekend of me in Rotterdam. One of my friends living here in Netherlands and show us „Ferry“ . We drank, danced and had a good time. Then we decided to go home. One of my friends wanted to bring her empty 2 cups back but a tall white man with a red tshirt snatched the cups from the hands of mine friend, bring to a young white boy barkeeper (who exactly saw my friend with the cups) and gave the money to the man with the red t-shirt. My friend asked the man if he can give the money from her but he didn’t did it of course and stole it! My friend came outside and told us. We came back to the club to clear the whole situation. I confronted the man about the cups and of course he played to dumb one while I asked him about the cups. His white friends played that game too and I got angry. Then there was a mixed artist at this club with purple suit. At first I was happy to see him because I thought „yeah a black man will help us“ but he just listend to the guys but not us!!!!! A BLACK MAN WHO DONT WANNA LISTEN TO BLACK WOMEN! Anyway then a white security man in black suit with blonde hair came to us and OF COURSE HE LISTENED TO THE WHITE GUYS FIRST. I tried to explain the situation but he just said: Do you want me to call the police, huh“? We leaved. Cuz sentences like this are scared. It’s sad something like this still happend, in 2022!!! NEVER AGAIN

The place is great but the personnel is not. They have no idea what they are doing. They also refuse to make cocktails just cause they are lazy to make them and they are not friendly at all

I did a reservation online and I paid. When muy friend and I arrived was 19:30, we were served at 21:30. We could not leave Because we already payed. The food was not that great and the service either. After the problem with the food and they saying that it was because the deliveries at home they rook also long time to serve me wine. The waiter was more interested in friends and people he knew that about clients in troubles. I won’t came back and i don’t suggest to go there.
