Hard to pick which "miradouros" (Observation points) have been my favorite, but this one is definitely up there. Plenty of parking. Worth parking on the street so you can enjoy the short walk on the stone road flanked by trees on either side. If busy, plenty of room to park on stone drive way or round-about. This spot is so special and worth fitting into your Sao Miguel plans because it captures, not only the Ocean views, but the fields, hills and topographic beauty of the island.

Well-known and very popular prospect that cannot be missed. Beautiful views of the coast, ocean and island, convenient parking for larger cars and buses.

This miradouro is worth a stop!! Very beutiful sceanary with a grande view. Both right and left sides are beutiful and very different. I highly recommend to stop by if you are passing by this site. There were some cute kittens too. Be aware when it is windy, it can be extremely cold and windy.

Like all the lookouts on Sao Miguel, the views are breathtaking. These photos are pretty, but they do not do it justice. It's 100x prettier in person. And not just the lookouts itself, but most of them also have beautiful gardens on the way out to the lookout point itself.

A beautiful view of the coastline. There are digger surfers below us. The farms and village all face the ocean. I believe this is the windy side of the island.

Offers a nice view of the local greenery, ocean and the cliffs. There is, of course, a parking space nearby as well as public toilet. Overall a great place to enjoy scenery of the Azores.

One of the best and most picturesque "miradouros" (observation or vantage points) on the island. The view is literally to die for. The lush greeny hills, the steep rocky coastline, the precipitous cliffs and endless Atlantic ocean expanse combine to create an unforgettable experience.

One of the most beautiful observation points on the island, we were truly amazed. It is highly recommended to stop for a moment with the car if you happen to pass by and take some pictures or make some videos.

Really beautiful views 🔭 of the ocean 🌊 and the north coast of the island of São Miguel 🗾. There are also toilets 🚾.

One of the best viewpoints on the Island. You can almost see the entire North side of São Miguel on a day with clear sky. Highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through.
