my
husband
had
my
toddler’s
health
card
in
his
wallet
at
work
when
i
had
to
book
a
walk
in
appointment
for
her,
so
i
asked
him
to
take
a
picture
with
all
her
information
to
show
them.
when
i
called
to
tell
them
my
situation,
the
receptionist
said
this
was
not
allowed
and
they
would
require
a
$90
deposit
for
my
toddler
to
be
seen,
and
i
had
to
return
to
show
them
the
health
card
if
i
wanted
my
money
back.
as
i
work
in
health
care
myself,
i
know
there
are
ways
of
validating
a
person’s
ohip
number
without
the
physical
card
and
i
consider
this
poor
insight
on
the
receptionist’s
part,
and
terrible
customer
service
in
how
they
manage
their
clinic
as
my
daughter
frequently
sees
her
pediatrician
there.
we
don’t
live
close
to
the
clinic
and
i
work
full
time
so
returning
to
the
clinic
or
rescheduling
were
not
good
options
for
me.
the
pediatrician
tells
me
she
prefers
that
i
take
my
daughter
to
see
her
when
possible
as
she
knows
my
daughter’s
medical
history
and
can
best
assess
her,
but
i
cannot
consistently
do
so
if
i
have
to
deal
with
that
kind
of
reception
staff
to
get
through
to
her.
there
have
been
many
times
in
the
past
that
my
husband
and
i
have
called
to
book
an
urgent
appointment
with
her
but
were
unable
to
get
through
to
anyone
as
no
one
picked
up
-
we
had
to
resort
to
another
pediatrician
or
closer
walk
in
or
the
emerg.
also,
the
one
time
i
decided
to
use
the
adjoining
pharmacy
for
convenience
sake,
i
was
sent
home
with
my
daughter’s
meds
with
absolutely
no
instructions
-
the
medication
itself
wasn’t
even
labeled.
i
had
further
questions
about
the
medication
after
i
got
home
but
when
i
called
back
in
the
late
afternoon
the
pharmacy
was
already
closed,
the
pediatrician
had
gone
home,
and
there
was
no
way
to
confirm
what
the
medication
was
even
called
for
me
to
call
someone
else
to
ask
my
questions.
very
unprofessional.
they
may
have
printed
out
the
labels
and
instructions
and
i
may
not
have
seen
it
to
take
it
with
me,
but
it
is
there
responsibility
to
ensure
it’s
given
to
me.
most
other
pharmacies
will
staple
it
or
put
it
inside
the
bag.
all
to
say
-
this
centre
is
poorly
run,
and
if
not
for
the
pediatrician
that
accepted
my
daughter
as
a
baby,
i
would
never
go
there.
it
is
diificult
enough
to
find
good
pediatricians
accepting
new
patients
and
that
is
the
sole
reason
i
would
continue
to
return.
