All tables were sticky- yes I actually tried to find a clean one. Order was processed wrong, so the waitress accused me that I made a mistake and brought the small salad back. I did not want to go Caren on them, so I said ok. 10 min later they came apologizing and bringing the correct order. Chicken was literally a chicken- so small that was not enough for 2 adults, let alone a family. croûtons in Cesar salad, looked like leftover garlic bread, chopped in 1.5 inches cubes, you needed a saw to cut them to bite size. My kids drank their pops and asked to leave without really eating anything.

Dissapointed is a understament. Went here orderd the jumbo pakage. Was supposed to come with 4large sides and garlic bread. Was given 4small sides and 2 slices half cut garlic bread..I have beeen going to this location since 1990s. Have seen the quality drop over the years..callled manager and basicallly was told to fly a kite.. AVOID THIS LOCATION at all costs. Taking hard earned money from people shame on you. If i could give zero stars i would.. will be escalting this issue further.

UPDATE: Regarding the Response from Owner, I have already tried to contact customer service on the website multiple times, have left multiple emails, phone messages and never received any response. I will not put forth any effort to ever eat food from you again. Based on the other reviews, it's clear your location does not care about customers. Nando's in Richmond Hill is DISGUSTING! The last time I ordered from them, there were items missing and it looked like they packed us someone else's garbage (the attached picture was the "hummus platter" that literally looks like it was taken off someone else's table). The worst part is l called and emailed the restaurant MULTIPLE times and they never returned my call. I strongly suggest staying away from the Richmond Hill location. Nando's should be ashamed to be associated with this location. They simply do not care.

Place looks good, food was OKAY- but doesn’t work when service is so poor! Lady at counter is extremely RUDE! We told her it was our first time on Nando’s expecting to have any recommendations, instead she gave us the menu and told us to come back to the counter when we’re ready to order…..!

New review done on Monday 27th September 2021:- Guys i didn't brought the core from outside and put it in your box. That is your ceaser salad which is bad. I know sometimes its hard to accept mistakes. I don't understand, what kinda justification you gave by that comment. Anyways the 3.9 star reviews says it all. Previous review: -Ordered food through them, extremely disappointed for $11 ceaser salad, i mean you cannot do a salad right? You gave me the whole core of the lettuce, the crutons are stale and the portion is tiny.

Worst customer service. I ordered nandos through skip the dishes. I put special instructions for extra sauces ketchup/ perri sauce. I recieved my order in time which was okay. After i opened the bag i was missing forks/knives and sauces. How do you expect to eat peri chicken without sauce or knives and fork especially when youre at work? Also i have attached a picture of chicken that was half burned. Never ever im buying from this nandos location. Luckily, simran from skip the dishes was nice enough to refund me half my money although i deserve full from such a horrible experience. All day ypure hungry to buy something which is full of disappointment. I dont recommend this location to u guys!

The quality and taste was acceptable, nothing special. I tried the wrapped chicken which was enough for a medium-size person. Far from something you can call delicious, but totally OK. However, the strawberry lemonade was good. I Might return and try something else.

4.5 ⭐️ We tried this location in the past but this time I believe it’s a new ownership. We ordered the Full Pack (Whole chicken + 2 Large sides + garlic bread). The chicken was so tender, juicy and tasty, the garlic mashed potatoes, the fries and the garlic bread were so delicious. The service was great! They offered us some wings to try out. Clean and friendly location. We ordered two chicken meals, one haloumi sandwich and one skewer combo. The skewer combo was extremely small for the price. The fries and corn were delicious.

I ordered around 8:30 pm online. My half chicken was supposed to be ready at 08:54. I came to store at 08:55. Now it is 09:27 pm and I am still waiting and my order is not ready. If there is any issue you should have told us not to waste our time around 1 hour in your store just waiting for a pick up. I don't appreciate this delay. Nobody in store is responsible. How long we should wait for half chicken. 1 hour?

Took 35mins to get order. The front was completely disorganized and had no idea who had arrived waiting for their order despite taking our names. I get home and this is what my food looked like. About 2oz of chicken and barely any food in the bowl. This is supposedly "Grilled chicken and Halloumi salad". This place has good food but they can't handle high traffic.

The store has changed so much, the entire store is dirty the tables are sticky, washrooms are wet and dirty…. I had the worst feeling didnt enjoy the food at all. The sofas are stained and the floors are sticky and dirty. I hope someone sees this and does deep cleaning 🧹 🤬

Hungry for yummy spicy chicken - choose your sauce. My family loves to get a whole chicken and share supplementing by a Russian style fried potatoes. The chicken is delicious even for any foodie. Nando’s is perfect for both UberEats delivery as well as pick up if you’d like to safe a few bucks. I like to come to this location with a very friendly staff and a good parking. Their French fries is also great and they recently added delicious Brussels sprouts.

Nando’s overall is an amazing restaurant. Good service, & even better food.... this Richmond Hill location on the other hand goes against everything I just said. This location is horrible & I keep giving it the benefit of the doubt that next time I come they will be better, & they fail every single time.... THESE GUYS DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO KEEP YOUR FRIES WARM WHEN YOU ORDER TAKEOUT... do you know how much times I had to go back & ask for fresh fries??.. I’m usually not the type to complain about the way my food is if a few things isn’t right eith it but come on now....cold fries?? Every time??? It’s not like I pick my food up late either, I’ll get there before it’s ready & boom cold fries still... I think it’s a staff problem, I feel like the staff is too young & they don’t really care about proper costumer service. Also the chicken is dry every time at this location smh. Do better. Kennedy commons location is WAYYYYYY BETTER. If I could give this half a star I would.

First time ever at this franchise and restaurant however never again. My husband and I went on a date to this restaurant and when we entered the manager rudely told me I couldn't enter because I didn't have a mask on. I told her I couldn't wear a mask for medical reasons and she still denied me entry. I informed her that the Ontario mask mandate states very clearly you do not need to wear a face covering if you have a medical condition that inhibits your ability to wear a face covering. She then proceeds to demand I show proof of my medical exemption. I once again informed her that he Ontario mask mandate states very clearly you do not need medical documentation to support any of the exceptions. Another staff member intervened and asked her to cease her behavior as other patrons were in the store listening to what was occurring. The staff member who intervened showed us to the tables. We were then told that we had to go back to the counter to place our order. As I approached the counter the manager approaches me and states that she spoke to her regional manager and she was advised that because I had proof of vaccination I wasn't required to show proof of mask exemption. I could not believe the misinformation that was being spewed by management at this store. I reminded her again that regardless of my vaccination status they had no right to demand proof of my medical exemption for my mask. The manager refused to allow me to place my order at the counter and my husband has to place our order. The manager wouldn't even let me use the bathroom facilities because I couldn’t wear a mask. There were no customers in the dining area either. When our food came this is what little food I got for paying $13 for a dinner plate. See picture attached. Absolutely disgraceful experience.

The packing was very poor. The food was mot tasty and was cold. Not recommended. The portion of food was too small. This is the pic of Caesar salad.

Got some take out from here, not the first time been there since they opened many many years ago. The chicken is good we do enjoy it. We also ordered salad and that’s where the problem is, there were many pieces of dark spoiled, freezer damaged and brown pieces….very unappetizing. I also asked for some sauce and they said there is some in the bag, but here is some more, I said great thank you…..well lucky I got the extra because there was NONE. In the bag.

Horrible customer service, they really need to hire a proper staff. They keep hanging up the phone when you call them to place a pickup, if you are that busy please hire more capable staff that can comprehend their jobs. They always say they are out of double legs whenever I call, this is extremely unfortunate as this nandos location was doing much better before they changed management. I hope some change is made as this location is a complete mess!

2023: 5/5 - Place is a bit dated but the food rocks... The wings were great (lemon and herb 5/5), the bottomless drinks are always awesome (5/5), the 1/2 chicken and 1/4 chicken were awesome (5/5 for both)... sides were good, had the wedges, fries, and rice...all 3.5/5...nothing bad about them but nothing amazing about them just mid... the service was fast and friendly (5/5) the place was a bit dated in terms of the newness of it, but nothing bad...only 2 washroom stalls though which might be a problem if you wanted to dine in with a large group...(3/5) Plan to upload pictures of the place later...

I love the food at nandos and I came to this location twice in the past. But todays experience was not up to nandos’ standards. We waited for our food almost an hour. We asked for updates on when our food was gonna come, they said 6 mins but it did not arrive for 15 more minutes. When they finally brought our food they forgot the salad and brought it when we almost finished eating. On top of everything root of the lettuce was inside the salad ( I attached a pic)

The food was very good. We ordered the platter for 3 people, with coleslaw and peri-peri fries plus a large caesar salad. The chicken was tasty and well cooked. It was a very satisfying meal. Other pluses were: we liked that they provided real utensils for dine in. They came in a paper sleeve. Real glass glasses with paper straws for cold drinks. In the washroom, they had hot air jet hand dryer. Our server/greeter was friendly and helpful; explaining how ordering worked, and explained the heat level of their sauces. He checked on us during our meal. As for their physical space, it needs an upgrade/ serious freshening. The yellow benches showed extreme wear & dirt. Tables could use a good scrub. Floors are worn. The music playing was very loud. The big windows brought in lots of light.

The food is awesome. I love the atmosphere and the music they play is soo happy and joyful sounds African or something but I love it. This is an awesome place to have amazing food in a bright atmosphere. And the girl at the cashier is soo nice.. FELICIA. Her cheerful welcoming approach made my day Thank you for the lovely rose wine recommendation

Ordered the new chicken thigh sandwich. Had 2 tiny pieces of burnt chicken - ruined the whole taste. Would not recommend. Gave 3 stars because fries were good at least

It is a really clean and cozy place, the food is truly delicious and the employees are always attentive if you need anything else, the dishes are large and you leave very satisfied, visit the place, I recommend it.

First time at this location. Overall, a solid experience. Exactly what you would expect from Nandos if you're familiar with them. Service is friendly and the flavour is there. This stacks up very well against other local Portuguese chicken options. But if you like spice, just jump straight to their hot or extra hot sauce, overall all the spice is quite mild. Also, this was my first time trying the mac on the side. I do recommend it!

Never realized it's a Portuguese chicken restaurant until writing this review, also feel like it's a South-African cuisine. Food - Perfect if you are a chicken lover, different options including sandwich, wings, or the whole chicken. Different spice levels for you to choose, different kind of dipping sauces as well. Taste is solid, lot of sides options too, much better if the portion could be a bit larger, tried the mashed potato and Peri-peri fries, worth a try! Service - Menu available at the front, order at the front desk, provide them your seat number, then food will be brought over to you. Kind of half self-serve, but they will take care of your dishes too! Atmosphere - Nice environment, quite cozy, but just the seats and tables could be more clean would be much better.

We were looking 👀 for delicious 🤤 protein through chicken 🍗, carbohydrates through potatoes 🥔 wedges as well as garlic 🧄 bread 🥖. So, we decided to visit Nando’s located in Richmond Hill, ON. Healthy eating 🍽 with greens 🥬 & chicken 🍗 as protein along garlic 🧄 bread 🥖 to give carbohydrates altogether provide energy! Delicious 🤤... Nando’s is a lovely 😊 place. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city 🏙️ in spite of being in the city 🌃. There’s an ample parking 🅿️ space around the building. The place has the huge indoor seating arrangements and the seating arrangement is super comfortable and spacious. 

The staff is really nice, friendly and kept following 🆙.

Pricing is decent, good value for money and the place is more suitable for a group of people.

This place is specialized in Portugal flamed grilled chicken and decorated with bright colours with cute details. You can causally sit inside or outside. They took the order in front desk and bring the food to your table after. Ordered : 1/4 chicken breast combo with three sides, 4/5 1/4 chicken leg with two sides 4/5 Chicken was juicy and flavoured right, the portion wise is towards to the small end.

Great food but the don’t have a menu on the wall so it makes it hard to order as well, second time we went they had physical menus so that was an improvement. The staff have become much nicer as well. The portions are small but they make you completely full. Only problem i have is that the cutlery weren’t clean.

We had a Team Dinner at this location of 20+ people. Organizing the reservation and Dinner options prior to arriving was quick and easy. The manager Sky is very helpful and accommodating. The Staff were very friendly, very helpful and always had a smile on their face. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were great. This location did an amazing job hosting a reservation of 20+ people, given that the location itself is on the smaller side. I highly recommend and we will definitely be returning. Job well done!

Great food and fair price for the amount of it :) Staff was polite and nice as well. Good experience overall in this location , so just keep it up the good work. I went to other locations and it wasn't good as this one.

Love the chicken at Nando's. It's just well marinated and very spiced. I will come back for more for sure. Keep in mind though that there the waiting area around the counter is tight so there is really not much social distancing occurring there when you are waiting for your order. It might be best to leave and come back later.

Food is delicious. One of my favorite chicken place. Also very happy to see that they finally put the sauces back out after covid. Few improvements, the layout of the place is not as open as the other location. The fountain drink machine is hidden and that might be a disadvantage in sales for fountain drinks because people don’t see it. Also, there should be no reason why a double chicken leg is sold out and a half chicken isn’t at 7:30pm. It is very obvious that you just want to upsell to the half chicken meal which cost more than the double leg. I mean the leg is there and you are not sold out… makes zero sense. They were also sold out of chicken wings. But overall, I ended up getting the half chicken and peri peri fried. Chicken tasted great and fried were crispy. I will come back but hopefully next time they are willing to sell me two chicken legs!

Honestly, the food was as good as any other Nando's. Tasty, well priced, good portions. Unfortunately, good things come to an end here. When we entered, only 2 tables were occupied by other guests, but all the other tables had used plates/cutlery from past guests. When we asked the cashier to have one of the table cleaned for us, she gave a look as if we were asking for too much and said it would take 10-15 mins., before the tables can be cleaned. Thankfully, one of the staff member cleaned (?) one table for us. As many have stated, the tables were greasy. Even though, one of the staff members cleaned it, we still had to clean those again ourselves. But overall, the location can do bit better in terms of hygiene. The sofa we sat on, was stained. Tables were oily and the floor was no different. Maybe they should consider switching to disposable tableware, if managing the silverware/plates is becoming impossible for the staff members.

Extremely disappointed in the quality of our dinner tonight. Ordered through Skip and when I called the location to complain that the rice and the peas were not cooked I was asked to make my complaint directly with Skip for a refund. . Are you kidding! It's your franchise. Loyal at least 4 times month. Absolutely poor response to a complaint.

Oct, 23, I ordered 1 party pack & 2 whole chicken + extra garlic break-Richmond Hill Location for our family gathering. The chicken`s taste was good but all fries and garlic breads was cold. The day after, I talked to the manager, asked him the reason of that.He didn’t even apologize, just got my number to follow up but he didn’t call me back.
