This coffee shop will gonna be one of my best places to go. So good sandwiches and hot chocolate. Lets go through this situation, I’d love to see their live bands. Oh their hummus pesto chicken sandwich is admirable!!

Cozy small cafe. Good vibe with nice decoration. Coffee is great. They have new summer drinks which is not bad. I like taste not too sweet. I would like to try their sandwiches next week. Looks not bad 😋

Covernotes has a beautiful, cozy atmosphere that I can't get enough of. There's a selection of classic and contemporary art on the walls that are changed every couple of weeks. Tons of books on the shelves. They have a huge selection of teas. I had the Ontario Ice Wine and loved how I could taste every fruit/spice that was in the mix. I also tried their chicken club sandwich, with everything cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place.

This place was the one of my Want to go list, and My husband & I finally visited Saturday afternoon. I’m so impressed with this cafe’s atmosphere, interior design, lots of tables and menu selection. They also have patio, free wifi and chill inside which is good to stay during hot summer season. However, the drinks I ordered were not as good as other small cafes. The shaken espresso tasted like just having milk and the Pina colada was like greasy coconut oil, it didn’t taste strawberry like the description on their menu. It should be improved. Also, the warmed up brownie was not a finger food, so it definitely had to be served with fork for sure before I requested. Even though this cafe is kind of a Self service place, the coffee and sweets are pricey. The amount I paid for one brownie, shaken espresso and Pina colada all together was around $20. It’s literally pricey. For me, I will visit here again but won’t have special drinks. Sitting in the patio with just regular coffee will be enough.

Amazing place. Great atmosphere. Really cool idea to have books in the coffee place. You can take one and browse through it as you enjoy great Flat White:) Sandwiches and scones are fantastic. Pastries also not too bad. Loved their playlist on the background. It felt old school and quite diverse. Hats off to the barista es well. One of the few places where they still try to make beautiful coffee! It became our go to place👍🏻

Love it! Absolutely an amazing place! Coming from Scandinavia this feels exactly like home. The coffees taste really great and the food was prepared on site and came out tasty and delicious! I would totally recommend the Avocado Toast (slightly spicy) and the Breakfast Bagel! The lighting in the shop is slightly dark, but we choose the window because we prefer it to be a little brighter. We love the details of the brick walls and the beautiful paintings! And lots and lots of books! Be sure to support this local business during these difficult times!

One of the best cafes I have been to in the GTA. Most cafes I have ever been to only excels in one category. Either food, drink or dessert. This cafe excels in all categories. Their sandwiches are flavorful and well layered. The drinks are great, they bring out numerous flavors in their coffees and the desserts look great. 10/10 would come here regularly

A cute little cafe with drinks, food and baked goods. There are books everywhere as well as seating inside and out on the patio, if you want to study (they have wifi and some outlets) or read or chat for a bit. They had some fall seasonal drinks which I enjoyed. They do have a 1.5 hour seating limit which gets enforced when it gets crowded, typically around lunch time.

Wonderful Café that I stumbled upon after checking out the neighbourhood after reading about it on the web. Very comfy design with a really nice sunny breakfast nook area and a bunch of other nice seats around the place. I could definitely see myself doing some office work away from the office there! Drinks were great and the service was really good too. I'll definitely be back!

Well maintained historical high school building has been converted Into coffee house. There's a beautiful statue of dancers at front. It's the fusion of classical and modern. In hot summer, sitting on the patio and having a cup of coffee, how comfortable it is.

The shop was cute and cozy with limited seating as it is a small shop. It was a little tight, having gone with a stroller but otherwise very nice. The drinks were great and the pecan tart was delicious! After ordering , we received a small pager to indicate when our order was ready. It will be nice once the patio seating construction is finished.

I had the most wonderful time at this cozy cafe! The warm ambiance immediately put me at ease, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of their fantastic coffee. The cakes were a delightful treat, and the friendly staff added to the overall charm of the place. I'll definitely be returning for more of that cozy warmth and deliciousness!

Maybe I just haven't been eating out as often but 7 dollars for a rose infused latte is a bit too much for me. The taste was not bad. I tasted rose bud tea mix with a latte and it feels balanced. The atmosphere is nice and lot of different options here.

Great tasting brewed coffee. If you are anywhere remotely nearby, pop in for one of the best butter tarts of your life (assuming you have a healthy fondness of currants).

I got white hot chocolate with whipped cream on. It was not too sweet so I really liked it. I wish it was a bit more hot though but maybe the whipped cream made it a bit cold. The staffs are super friendly. Nice and cozy little Cafe.

Decent coffee. Got a Cinnabon as well heated up. The wait time for a coffee is too long but it maybe because we went on Saturday. Nice tent for outdoor seating.

  • 5/5 Kenny L. 2 years ago on Google
Great coffee place and the baked items looked awesome. I tried the new iced English toffee latte. Not too sweet, perfect for my liking. And my friend tried the peach iced tea which was very refreshing and natural tasting unlike the super fake syrups at other places.

  • 4/5 Sanaz B. 2 years ago on Google
I really liked the location and the pastry selection. The only issue I had was the iced -coffee which tasted like mold. Not sure if that was the taste of the coffee or something was off... My husband and I both tasted it though.

  • 5/5 Ivy S. 7 months ago on Google
I had the chai tea latte and cranberry scone. The scone was fresh and tasty. The latte could have been a a lot warmer (i picked it up right away) but was still nice. We had a sticker exchange happen with a group of friends with no issues arrise from staff. The place is cosy and i can see why it was packed. If i didn't live far away i would love to visit more frequently.

Really cozy Cafe, offers outdoor and indoor sitting, with high quality food ( like open sandwiches, desserts….the avocado is a must have) Lots of parking available right behind and there is a ramp for strollers and wheelchairs!

  • 4/5 Prashanth S. 3 years ago on Google
It’s overall a nice place to come and relax for a cup of coffee or get some pastries to go with. A very nice and cozy place to study where all the COVID protocols are met with an exceptionally clean cafe. The atmosphere inside and outside the cafe is very nice and it has a European cafe vibe. Therefore, for the location and interior, this place is nice. However, food was quite disappointing where their chicken sandwich (pesto) tasted quite bland and it cost $12 ish after tax. (Note:- they also have a ramp for wheelchair access, which is good)

I recently visited this coffee shop and I was blown away! From the moment I walked in, the ambience was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern decor. The staff were super friendly and welcoming! The coffee itself was absolutely delicious. I particularly loved their lavender latte. And oh my goodness, all the delicious pastry options made it incredibly hard to only choose one. Overall, I can't recommend this coffee shop highly enough! Perfect place to relax, catch up with friends or get some work done. This place will most definitely be my go-to coffee shop now. 5-stars!!!

Such a lovely place, great atmosphere, drinks and food are great, laptop friendly, soft seats, a huge patio with tarp and covers (good for rains but not sure if it’d be cold in the snow). Lots of people comes and goes, very busy, it has 1.5 h time limits.

  • 5/5 Brandon C. 11 months ago on Google
A really cute cafe with really nice decor. This coffee house has a great vibe, and the staff here are very friendly. Plenty of space for people to sit, and plenty of parking in the back. Also has a very spacious patio out front for when the weather is nice, with an overhead covering as well to protect you from the rain. Seems to be a very popular spot for dates and for studying!

  • 5/5 Wei J. 1 year ago on Google
Revisited for brunch. All is good, avocado toast is so gorgeous, a must have. Flat white is the best I have ever had in GTA. Most of the coffee house don’t have flat white. Their flat white is just so beautiful and wonderful. Definitely a come back place

What a gem of a place! Such unique drinks! We got blue iced matcha latte and regular matcha latte both were excellent (and they also have many other cool looking drinks I will be back for). Also got 2 cheese and chive scones that were amazing! Interior is lovely perfect for a date or to study.

If you are looking for a cozy cafe to enjoy a cup of good coffee and relax, this is the place to go. Many choices of coffees and teas. Sandwiches are alright. The blueberry lemon tart is a bit disappointing - lack of the taste of both major ingredients. Worth a visit for their coffees and atmosphere for sure!

Insane covid zealotry extinguished all enthusiasm about having a cup of espresso and a piece of pastry. Was told to wait outside. Chose not to support this absurdity, there are still a lot of nice cafes with way more friendly and accommodating attitudes

  • 5/5 Felicity C. 9 months ago on Google • 2 reviews
I loved it here! We had the chai tea, strawberry iced tea, maple crumple muffin, and chicken and brie grilled sandwich. Everything was so delicious. One of the best chai teas I’ve had and I try one in every restaurant/cafe. I liked how everything was affordable and the portion sizes were bigger than I expected. There were many options for pastries and desserts that were both pleasing to the eyes and tasted great. The atmosphere was very cozy. The staff were so nice and friendly. Everything from the music playing to the decor and wall of books is absolutely great. The books are for sale, so if you find a book you like, the price is at the first page and you can buy it. They also have a beautiful patio which is perfect for this summer weather. This place was so lovely and I will definitely be coming back. Now one of my favourite cafes, I highly recommend this place!
