I've eaten a set 8 course meal plus Chinese soups and sweet water dessert about 12 times takeout from this place for over 2 years during the pandemic and not one time have I been disappointed. The ingredients are fresh, the " wok hay " is fantastic considering it's takeout. It's always packaged well. I keep coming back. I'm not comparing it to some fancy Michelin star restaurant but for THIS type and class of restaurant and in relation to its peers, I would give it a five star if this is the kind of food you like. Edit: Add a couple pictures for today's order including the lobster. Edit: More recent orders.

This is a small HK style cafe offering variety of dishes. We came in Wednesday night around 7:30, it was still busy and almost full. The staff was very friendly and managed seated us immediately. We ordered a combo A for two, $31.99, including two main dishes, slice fish with vegetables, and sliced beef with mushrooms &green onion. Soup comes with the combo for free, and free dessert red bean soup after the meal . All dishes are at very high quality with good portion. This little kitchen is so clean and homey, with tasty food at reasonable price, will definitely come back!

Great little HK Style Cafe for in dining or takeout. Right now during pandemic they have it closed off for customers for dine in. Great selection of foods and good lunch and afternoon tea deals on their menu. The pricing is very reasonable compared to larger restaurants. I ordered the deep fried pork chop with salt and pepper, the famous sweet and sour pork and my favourite bean curd with Chinese mushroom, corn, carrots and veggie. Excellent value for dinner we got a surprise soup and dessert.

Bayview kitchen is a small, but popular restaurant located by Bayview and Major Mackenzie. We came on Sunday around 2pm, and was surprised to see how full the restaurant was. Luckily for us, there was an open spot when we arrived, but it was a little chilly as we had to sit right by the entrance. During our dine in experience, there were many customers coming in to order take out - which means this spot is pretty popular! They have a breakfast, and lunch special which was pretty reasonable with the amount of items included, plus portion of the dishes. We opted for their lunch special which included a drink such as HK Milk Tea, and soup (only available till 2:30pm). I got the satay beef with vermicelli, and overall it was pretty tasty - there was a good amount of satay sauce included which gave it a lot of flavour. The milk tea was also surprisingly pretty good in comparison to many HK cafes I’ve visited. If you’d like to add sugar to it, there are packets on the side by your table. As I’m moving around the area soon, it’s pleasant to know that there’s a pretty good HK cafe in the area. I would definitely recommend you to come check this spot out if you haven’t :) IG: Ayeween

Good Chinese HK style restaurant! Small and cozy with lots of take out orders and busy! Baked dishes have a bit of a twist to it… Portuguese chicken has pineapple! Quick and efficient service given how busy it was!

Food here is tasty and price is good. Service is also very good. Comes with a pork bone soup for appetizer and sweet congee for dessert.

The baked pork with rice is nice. The sauce is good and follows the tradition that tomato paste, tomato sauce and fresh tomato is adopted and that no cheese is used. A star is deducted for the less desirable appearance, the fried pork (a bit oily) and the rice (should have been fried as it should have been traditionally). The milk tea is silky. The attendants are always friendly and willing to chat and give you a feeling of home.

I've finay visited this place. It was closed during NY's so I've been waiting to visit. They have many set menu selections for 2-8 people. You might feel like you are in HK if you go :D with many hk customers and TV. We ordered one of the set for 2 people and added rice. All the food tasted great and didn't taste much msg nor salty which we loved. Portion is good. I will try visiting again soon. Update: I found beef and brisket in the noodles are super salty 😂 that I had to rinse it off on the soup. I hope they reduce the saltiness of the beef and keep the taste as usual even when they are busy.

港式餐厅 Hong Kong (Cantonese ) dishes, special on lunch, due to the limited of space, may expect to share the tables. Parking also quite peak some time. Fast service and kindly staffs. It is fast food style in Cantonese! Sample and good but not thing fancy! When you on the table, before start they will ask what kind of the soup you like, like well cook the soup (老火汤),then you may order your choice of set lunch that come with a drink, including Hong Kong style tea(港式奶茶)。 The set lunch are good to try, try them all! 特色午餐,总有一款适合你的口味!

This small little HK cafe, was my husbands go to during his high school days, he always raves about this place, at first I never really understood what was so special about it, I've tried a few dishes and nothing really blew me away until I tried their Baked Cheese Spaghetti. Unlike traditional Italian spaghetti this was more on the sweet side (but not as sweet as filipino style spag). It reminded me of home, and how my mom use to make spaghetti for us growing up. I always thought my mom just didn't know how to cook proper Italian spag, but I realize this is the HK style spag and honestly, I think I prefer HK style spag over Italian spag (dont come for me - sorry!) I love that its affordable and comes with soup and a drink choice during lunch. My husbands favourite dish is the beef & bitter melon rice. This place is fairly small, and they tend to get busy, so be prepared to be sitting with strangers. It's also a cash out establishment!

Their service was AMAZING!! Food was great too. I am so impressed with their service I had to write a review. I have 2 boys, I ordered a noodle that comes with one drink. The waitress automatically gave us the drink in 2 separate cups so my boys can share. I was so surprised and very happy they did that without me asking.

One of my favourite restaurant when I was a student at Bayview Secondary School. Three times per week, no kidding😂

This place has been renovated since i last visited years ago, but the food quality hasn't changed. 廈門炆米 only has ham, onion and a bit of egg. It doesn't have the sweet and sour melon to make the unique taste. Service is slow even though it's not busy.

Cozy Cantonese place with Hong Kong vibes. Anyone who is missing Hong Kong in Toronto can visit. Taste and size of dishes are satisfying.

Been there this afternoon as I am waiting for my son, try the afternoon Tea menu #11. Portion is great Taste excellent Although the HK milk tea is not as good as the other places; but in terms of the food, service, and cleanliness are great.

Big portions of food with good wok hei for a good price. Includes soup and dessert with your take-out order. Must try the sweet and sour pork!

Came to get a combo takeout. The food was not bad, but the options for combos were quite limited. Portion size were decent, but price is definitely higher than some of the other Hong Kong styled restaurant around in that area.

This place is going to be one of my go-to Cantonese restaurants I’ll go. Lots of great selections, food is fairly quick & the portion is great for what anyone will purchase. On top of that, the people working there are so nice to talk to. Their sweet & sour chicken with their house special fried rice was very pleasing to eat. Will happily come again very soon.

Great place to get lunch or dinner. They have lots of dishes that would be found at HK style cafes as well as some more traditional dishes. Flavours for all of our dishes were amazing - must try the spaghetti bolognese! Staff were very pleasant, service was amazing. There is very limited seating, so I suggest you call ahead if you would like to dine in.

I’ve been going to this little spot for years and they are always exceptional and consistent on their tastiness of their food and customer service! Lately it’s just been takeout but they’re nothing short of a great Cantonese Chinese restaurant. I love their rice with black bean sauce with beef and vegetables and their famous sweet and sour pork!

Very tasteful HK style family restaurant! The « wok heat » is perfect! The cooking is better than most of the big names restaurants in Toronto. The lady at service is nice and smiley. Price is good, and even the sweet soup dessert was good too!!

DO NOT order Portuguese style baked chicken on rice here! Seriously, who put PINEAPPLES in Portuguese style baked chicken?!!? I'm willing to try other dishes next time I visit
