Pleasantly surprised by this hidden gem! My family always enjoy Korean BBQ and hot pot. It was our first to try Han Mi Jeong. Plenty parking spots. Cozy and clean. Decent number of tables. They have a good variety of dishes in their menu and service was solid. The portion sizes were great for the prices we paid and the side dishes were really fresh. Food served hot and quick. We really liked their kimchi, it was absolutely delicious. Just missing potatoes on our pork bone soup. We would definitely recommend to friends & come back again.

This restaurant was pretty understaffed given how busy it was. The staff took a while to take our order despite our attempts to flag them down. I saw other tables having similar experiences. Always appreciate it when they include jaechae in banchan. Some restaurants stopped doing that. Overall, the food was good and authentic.

The deep fried dumplings were so crispy and delicious. You can tell they were hot and freshly fried. The omelette rice was so big and fried egg was tasty. Red rice was used and added more nutrients. The cold noodles were ok.

Another long missed place since COVID started but got to visit tonight with my family! It was just as busy as it always was, with the same staff, and felt comfortable dining in. The quality of the food remained the same, just as great as it’s always been. I’ve always enjoyed coming here as they give generous portions in comparison to other places I’ve been. If you’re in the area & looking for a Korean place to have lunch or dinner, this is the place to visit!

First visit here, really enjoyed their Naeng Myun, probably the best I had at any Korean restaurant. Got their fried dumplings as well and was very pleasantly surprised. The filling is good and comes with a dipping sauce.

Food is fantastic. Lots of great sharing options and big portions. The jeongol (hot pot) is enough for 4 people. The bokkeumbap (kimchi fried rice) was perfect. Seating is limited but the line moves quickly. Plus, in the winter, you can wait inside the mall and stay warm. The service leaves a lot to be desired - it feels impossible to get anyone’s attention. So be prepared to order immediately or you will not get served.

This is a great little Korean spot. They have good portions along with decent prices. the Food is always comes out hot and they have a good selection on individual dishes or family combos. Keep in mind that the family combos are pretty big and really feeds a person or 2 more than they say. The service is pretty decent as they seem like a family run restaurant so they are sometimes swamped and understaffed. Dont let that deter you, the food is good. They do accept reservations and can call ahead.

We went here for my birthday and it was my first time here. I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Small, cozy but friendly with delicious and authentic Korean dishes. We got one of the family combos plus some other dishes and they did not disappoint. Price is not the cheapest but very fair and the portions are large. I look forward to coming back here again very soon. Combo came with a large pork bone soup hot pot too but we finished eating it before I realized that I forgot to take a picture. Will have to remember to do so next visit.

Already visited several times. Food quality is consistent. Nice pork katsu with rice. The flour surface is thin and crispy. The pork is of nice quality. The chef is generous in giving food. There are two decks of pork, though this is not clearly shown in the picture. The attendants are always friendly, diligent and attentive. They are also generous in giving the kimchi and other appetizers.

Been here numerous times, bout time I get off my lazy butt and write a review. Located inside a small mall building, Richlane mall with plenty of parking. A hidden gem with great authentic Korean dishes, can get busy during peak lunch and dinner periods. Ordered the soft tofu seafood soup and Bibimbap in stone pot. Soup contained bits of octopus, mussels, shrimp, etc. alongside generous amounts of soft tofu in a rich flavorful broth. Enough seasoning to give it the right about of spiciness, so comforting, especially now that the weather is turning. Comes sizzling bubbling hot to your table. Bibimbap in stone pot also arrived hot and sizzling at the table, gochujang bottle at each table to add additional flavor to your preference. Food quality/flavor always consistent, service staff always helpful. They got it right

We have been here 4 times now, once at lunch & 3 times at dinner, and the food is consistently great every time. At dinner they are very busy & popular; it's a full house, but usually you don't have to wait too long for a seat. The food is delicious with authentic flavours & there's good menu variety.

This isn't my first go at this place -- and I absolutely love the food here. Since it has been quite warm lately, two of us decided to get cold noodles (and it was tasty as usual). My mom got the beef bulgogi (to which she was only able to finish half). The sweet and sour pork has always been a favourite of mine (I especially love the wood ear mushrooms). The prices are quite comparable to other korean restaurants around. The only downside to Han Mi Jeong is that it does get quite busy (I have had to wait over 45 minutes for dinner at one point), so if you want to avoid the rush, make sure you get there for lunch when it first opens! :) -- this is the only reason why it is 4 stars. If I could give it 4.5 stars, I would!! I will definitely be back again soon!

Got the ramen tteokbokki and korean fried chicken + rice. Chicken was amazing and not too oily, tteokbokki could have been a stronger flavour/spicier though.

I really like this little Korean restaurant. They have many varieties of Korean food. Service was super fast. Within five minutes we got out dishes all layout in front of us. I loved their portions of food. They were very very very generous with their portions. The kimchi was on point👌 👌 👌. The potatoes in sweet gravy was also a highlight. Asking for seconds for a particular small dish was painless, again, extremely generous with portions. The staffs were extremely quick and helpful with everything. 10/10 would go back again. Highly recommend! P. S. The restaurant front door is in side the small

Foods: 8/10 Service: 7 Serving Time: 8 Portions: 9 Ambience: 7 Cleanliness: 8 Price: 7 Parking: 10 Complimentaries: N/A Foods were great except for their Tteokbokki which was bland and needed more sauce. Side dishes variation was limited and tasted ok. The service was quick and there were 2 ppl serving us at that time. The younger one seemed like she hated her job and tried to scare away customers with her stare. Overall I'd recommend this place and will try their other dishes.

Really tasty. Enjoyed crispy beef brisket noodle soup and grilled chicken with rice. Busy restaurant. Expecting 15 to 20 waiting time.

We had the GamJaTang (pork bone soup) and Tookbaegi Bulgogi. The pork bone soup had tender meat and flavourful soup. They also give lots of bone and meat. The Tookbaegi Bulgogi also had lots of ingredients and was very flavourful. We thoroughly enjoyed both dishes, and would definitely recommend you give them a try. Great flavours and fair prices. The staff were also very friendly and provided excellent service. A minor nit: I was not a big fan of the sides (besides the Kimchi) compared to other Korean restaurants. The pickled cucumber was too salty. Note that there is a cash discount for spends of $50 or more. There is a minimum spend of $20 if you wish to use a credit card.

Really great spot for Korean food. Service has always been fast and friendly and very generous portions especially with the table cooking! Would recommend for weeknight dinners.

Hidden gem! Honestly usually not a fan of Korean food but came here with a friend and I enjoyed my time. It’s a bit of a smaller space, but there’s still a decent number of tables and they space everyone out to account for covid. They have a good variety of dishes in their menu and service was solid. The portion sizes are great for the price you pay. I liked the tea they provided as well. I honestly have no complaints and would definitely come again.

Hands down the best Korean restaurant in the area! My family and I have been going to this restaurant for years, and can confidently say that it's our go-to place for Korean food. The portions are massive and the food is super authentic and delicious- we always leave with stuffed bellies and takeout boxes to go! The staff is also super friendly and they make sure you have everything you need and more. It's also a super popular place during dinner time, so I'd suggest getting there a bit earlier to avoid the wait times. Can't wait to come back for more!

Nice Korean restaurant!! Staffs are attentive and polite. Clean and comfortable seats. Foods are good, strongly recommend seafood pancake - I would say it’s the best among all Korean restaurants in RH!!

Really tasty pork bone soup, if you like spicy you need to ask them for extra spicy cuz its not spicy at all. The service is great and the waitress was really friendly, just make sure to go early or make a reservation as they're usually pretty busy and you'll need to wait a while for seats. Atmosphere is good too.

Generous portions. Great banchan variety. Good service. Gamjatang/pork bone soup and the bibimbap you can't go wrong with. This visit though opted to try some other dishes. Banchans - 6 refillable complementary appetizers that change daily. Easily one of the highlights here that add to the overall value! I really enjoyed the seaweed and pickled radish last visit over the broccoli and pickled cabbage shown here. Bulgogi Jungsik - sizzling platter of bulgogi with glass noodles and vegetables. Definitely on the flavourful/sweet side but very tasty. Needed the purple rice they served with it. Haemool Dupbap - mix of seafood and vegetables - had clams, mussels, shrimp, octopus, peppers with purple rice. Easily one of the best value based Korean places around the RHill area with reasonable prices given their portions.

We bought Combo A including the pancake, fried chicken, sliced pork and pork bon soup. We ordered one more fried seafood dish. We were 6 people and we were pleasantly full. I like their service, fresh food and portion which is better than most Korean restaurants. If you are craving for spicy, this place might not be give you the extra edge that you need. I would recommend this place to my friends and to go for the combo!

A nice family operated Korean restaurant. The side dishes are solid and they let you refill. Their potato side dish is one of the best in GTA. Pork bone soup is below average though, soup lacks flavor, meat is tender. Beef slice soup is pretty good. Nicely seasoned and homey. Prices are fair. Side dishes are the best part at this Korean restaurant.

Keeps me coming back! Best Korean restaurant in the area and definitely worth a visit. The service is very quick which makes up for the wait time to get in and each dish is fresh and packed with flavor. The noodles are always delicious and chewy, tasting house made. The attention to detail is like like no other as each dish always tastes perfected.

Finally came around to trying this place. The ambiance was nice, and it was busy during dinner time. Many ordered the grilled meats, and hotpot plates are popular. The food and price were fairly reasonable. A con would be there is a lack of AC or maybe it was set too low. It was getting very hot in the small spaced restaurant. It definitely reduced the dining experience.

A very modest establishment but still clean and inviting. Note you have to enter the mall to get into the restaurant. Our group arrived right at opening hours which worked out for the best since all the tables filled out very quickly. The service was very fast after ordering and you get a good portion of food for the price plus a number of sides. The gamjatang was very flavourful and filling - so I definitely recommend it. Would definitely return to try some of their other dishes!

A hidden gem. The plaza is small and lonesome but the restaurant is great. Very authentic Korean cuisine. As some reviews said, there is no potato in the gamjatang, but the soup is delicious and the portion size is very generous. The offer potato and pork bone hot pot, we’ll try it next time. The side dishes are also fresh and tasty.

To me this is the best Korean restaurant in the GTA area. My friend and I visited today and I got the bibimbap and my friend got the pork bone soup and the portions were huge and the side dishes were plentiful and delicious. People who work here are so kind as well. I definitely recommend!

Kalbi was very tender and tasty, tofu soup came in bubbling hot. Service was fast, food ready on table in minutes. The lady saw me about to burn the ribs 😂 so she quickly helped me grill it. Really appreciated that! Definitely will come back

My daughter always preferred this Korean restaurant. The Omelette Fried rice is very tasty. The Pork Knuckle is one of the best in our memory! The self made kimchi is so fresh and the spiciness is just right for us.

Great food, especially pork bone soup, tofu and fish. Good grain rice and tea. Acceptable service... Also 6 side dishes. 👍

It was an absolute horrible experience! I made the order through door dash and accidentally put in the second address for delivery. That same second I cal door dash they tell me restaurant is already making the order. Now unless they are magicians I can’t imagine how the order can be done in the first minute it was placed. I had to drive all the way to the other address as the refused to change the address or refund the order. When the order came the driver had no idea where to find me. As we started eating the food I nicely discovered a long string of hair. Have never had such a bad experience with a restaurant in my life!

I came here with family to try the Korean food in the area after a day of shopping. Han Mi Jeong definitely did not disappoint! The best value meal and taste I would recommend is the hot table top grilling. They're very generous with their portions and the order comes with 5 side dishes, and choice of soup (the pork bone soup was great!). Moreover, a good option to have if you want to have or miss Korean BBQ. The kimchi fried rice tastes better than the omurice. We ordered the omurice for the novelty of it since we see it in a lot if K-dramas and anime lol. The sizzling fried mackerel is so good! It tastes and reminds me of a home-cooked meal. Overall, a great place to have large groups of more than 8 people (though make sure to call ahead so they can set up your table and time). Portion and price are reasonable for the authentic Korean food you get. I will definitely come again to try more of their food!

Have been going here for years with colleagues and it's been consistently good. Bulgogi sizzling plates, pork bone soup are my go-to. Prices are comparable to other Korean food joints. Service is efficient and atmosphere is bright and welcoming. It does get quite busy during lunch time on weekdays.
