Looking for food after watching the movie “A guilty conscience” and we picked the nearby Goldsor Restaurant located at Times Square. Afternoon tea session is from 3 to 6 pm. Most of the choices are spaghetti and rice which is quite different from other Hong Kong style restaurants. May be it is because Goldsor is more like a Hong Kong style western food restaurant 西餐廳 instead of a Hong Kong style cafe 茶餐廳。 Prices are pretty cheap!! Spaghetti / rice afternoon set ranges from only $8.99-9.50 while normally costs over $10.99. We ordered 2 spaghetti and rice set: Spaghetti Bolognese with cheese($8.99 ) looks nice, big portion with lots of minced pork. The spaghetti used are the thick ones which are same as those find in Hong Kong style fast food shop. There is not much taste for the sauce therefore I have to ask for ketchup so to add some sweet and sour taste. Curry Beef Brisket with rice ($9.50) is in big portion with sufficient beef brisket. The dish is bit spicy but doesn’t have much curry flavor. Hot milk tea has no tea flavor but is smooth. Overall the food quality is good, portion is big but does not have much taste and flavor.

One of my favourite Hong Kong Style restaurants. Been a customer for over decades. Good food with Great Price & Services. We always enjoy their set lunches & drinks.

This is a hidden gem in the Times Square Plaza. It is cash only so be aware of that. I think it has an eclectic menu as it offers things like borscht. I ordered the vegetable curry for lunch, which was excellent. The portion was generous, the curry was tasty and the tofu placed on the top was perfectly fried. The restaurant was quite busy so I think that's a testament to the quality of their food. I would definitely recommend eating here.

HK Milk tea was ok. In the middle between good and bad. Tea came out warm instead of hot, and black tea was not strong enough. Satay beef vermicelli soup base was very good. Real satay taste. But the beef has not been marinated enough, resulting in non tender meat.

I have been coming here for many years. I especially like their afternoon tea combo which they serve until 6 pm. I come here for early dinners occasionally. Their wings and fries basket and chicken and ham pasta are two of my faves. Each under $10 and come with a drink! Definitely worth checking out.

It’s the first time we came since the Pandemic began and we came here for Sunday brunch. Their food is good and there are lots of choices to choose from. The restaurant set up remains unchanged, the tables are very close to each other although there’s a barrier installed to separate, the staffs didn’t bother checking our vaccination record so I will probably come here for take out next time.

Maybe it was too late, but the chicken pieces in the curry chicken dish were quite small, which was different from previous visits. The sirloin came in sizzling plate with FOUR slices of steak and fries ... not sure why they give spaghetti on top!!

I came here to try their Hong Kong style steak combo. The combo included a soup, a bun, the main course & a hot drink. The Borscht soup and bun tasted quite good. The black pepper ribeye steak was ok. You can choose spaghetti or rice with your steak. The portion was big and the price was reasonable.

Always busy with neighborhood repeat customers. Open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Closed for dinner. Afternoon tea starts at 1500. Be prepared for a noisy environment as everyone including the staff speaking with very loud voices, lol, Hong Kong style. 2 TVs on the wall broadcasting Fairchild. Afternoon tea includes a drink (cold lemon tea extra $1.50) Typical "cha cheng teng" style food, nothing fancy but comforting and filling. Their beef curry rice always hits the spot for me, tender beef and curry is mild. Their fried fish is always moist, tender with a nice crispy coating. Been here plenty of times for their breakfast, not bad either. So lucky to have this neighborhood restaurant within my living area

I’ve been coming to Goldsor ever since I was a kid and the quality of food and service has been consistent. The moment my family placed an order during the breakfast rush, the food was on our table in less than 10 minutes! The prices for the breakfast menu are also very affordable, ranging from $6.29 to $9.49 with tea OR coffee included. This HK cafe follows all COVID protocols with contact tracing and each table is boarded up with plexiglass, I felt extremely safe dining here. Wait staff are also very friendly and efficient.

It was quite different and unusual menu. The food is a fusion of chinese and western. I loved the fusion. I had the prime rib, which was delicious. Tender and juicy. More importantly everything that the servers were carrying to other tables looked fantastic and fresh, as if everything including the produce is fresh from the tree, pasta made from scratch. I’m pretty sure that’s not the case, still have to give credit to the cooks for creating that illusion. Service was alright, all the servers were running around and taking orders, bringing food like robots. All in all grrat food, good service and very reasonable price. I would highly recommend.

The flat spaghetti with ox tongue and tomato sauce is nice. The tomato sauce is well mixed but can be more sour. The ox tongue is soft. The Hong Kong style milk tea is silky. The attendants are polite, attentive and diligent. They can also maintain this good attitude during peak hours. Impressive.

My favorite HK café in Richmond Hill. I was first introduced to their pork chop casserole from a co-worker many moons ago and instantly fell in love with that dish. I have been a frequent visitor ever since, and Goldsor does not disappoint. Their operation hours changed over the years, but currently, they're the only HK café I know of that opens 7 days a week, from 8am to 7pm. Great service and food are reasonably priced, worth visiting if you're craving for HK café food.

Food is good as usual, and the service here is very quick and polite. One of our choices among nearby restaurants, especially on nothing to do Saturday morning. At least, we get a good portion of food. Typically, breakfast is a bit sizable than other restaurants.

Good food. Affordable without price hike. Too bad that they don't serve dinner hours and close early at 7pm because they are unable to hire staff for night shift. Last call is 6:15pm. Highly recommend

Traditional HK style fast food restaurant. Ordered two afternoon 3-6pm happy meals. Dishes are quite big that we barely finish. But my son ordered a regular meal and came in a huge dish with bread, soup and drink and he can only finish half...LOL.

Food was good. We were there for lunch. Love the borche soup. Service was fast. Staffs were ok too. Just slightly too expensive. The place was packed.

Typical HK style service, quick and efficient. Tasty food, very relaxing to watch morning news on TV while eating breakfast LOL

Not a bad place for a quick breakfast as the restaurant is always so crowded during morning hours. Their current breakfast prices are not too bad and in the range of $5.49 to $7.99. Of course, don’t come here if you feel like you want some quiet place for a sit down breakfast as this will not the place for you. Very traditional Hong Kong style tea restaurant. Only thing is that they close early in the evening so probably you would only come here for breakfast, lunch or early dinner.

I am a customer for Goldsor Restaurant for almost 20 years. They maintain the best quality with a very good price even after COVID. Strongly recommend you to come and try the Hong Kong style Western foods.

A popular Hong Kong style Cafe restaurant that is located in Times Square be prepared for a bit of the wait time during lunch hours the restaurant is rather cozy so social distancing was not there; however they have barriers is to separated it's table so that even if it is crowded there is some protection
