Overall, I enjoyed the hot pot experience. Certainly try it you have not tried it before! There was a great variety to choose from, vegetarian and non-vegetarian, on the menu. However, a few things that could be improved upon: 1) Maybe an explanation of how hot pot works for someone who has never tried it before? Maybe a paragraph or half a page in the menu? Secondly, English translations and even a brief explanation for menu items that are not normally found in a western menu. A picture menu of all the items would even be better! For example when it said broccoli I wasn't sure if it referred to regular broccoli or Chinese broccoli. For a weeknight dinner, it was $40 for All you can eat + $10 for a soup base. (Highly recommend their duck broth!)

This was my first time having hotpot here. It was the best hotpot restaurant that I have had in Toronto so far. The food quality was good and the service was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and the staff paid very close attention to keeping everything organized. They were very helpful! I was very impressive with this kind of standard for an AYCE restaurant. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely go visit more often. From my last pleasant experience, I decided to bring my family here for hotpot this time. We order two 2 flavour soup base pots. It was great that they arranged a six persons table for our family of four so we could have more space for the food and not sit tightly. The server was very helpful. He was very attentive and efficient with our orders. The food quality was still very good and the soup base wasn’t too salty but yet tasty. This place is always a good choice for hotpot.

Absolutely love this place!! My husband and I went here for the first time on valentine’s day. Wait was around an hour, which wasn’t too bad considering it was a holiday. Food was all you can eat and there was so much to choose from. Servers were friendly and quick. Food was delicious. The area was clean and well maintained. Their strawberry pink drink with alcohol was very good as well. Would definitely go here again!

Great and popular ayce hot pot place. Make a reservation if you can in advance. They also do keep tightly to the seating limit so be on time if you do reserve. Overall food is great - service could be a bit better but we were seated in a private room off to the side as well so it was hard to get their attention.

This was a new experience for me. It was amazing!!! If you love K BBQ, then you will also love hot pot. The flavors were great and the meat, sauces, soup came together very well. Service was so fast and they have an automated robot which was really cool. I highly recommend trying hot pot from here!!

July 12th 2022 - very clean and great customer service! Didn’t have the chance during last visit to take many pictures. Ordered the two flavour soup base (pork bone broth and liu’s house special soup base) both broth were very flavourful. All food are very fresh and service is top notch again! For a restaurant in Toronto/Markham top notch customer service! From front reception area to the overall dining experience it was amazing! Definitely recommend! Spend an additional $4 dollars for all you can drink too; including watermelon juice which is an awesome deal.

Main concern with this place is cleanliness. The female washroom is pretty dirty and small fixtures are damaged/ broken. Very worn down. Garbage on the floor, very wet countertop. Definitely need more frequent cleaning during business hours. Food quality is overall average, with a few items that are great such as fatty sliced beef and shrimp paste, beef tribe and white fungus are not bad as well. I would avoid shrimp (not fresh and small in size compare to other AYCE). The handmade squid paste taste funny, and have something hard inside (not sure if bone or shell). Food selection is ok for AYCE standard. The sukiyaki soup base is mildly sweet, with fragrant kelp, pairs nicely with beef. Dessert is underwhelming but luckily I don’t like dessert in general so I usually will skip dessert anyways. Service is great, the young servers are more friendly then the older ones. They are pretty straight with enforcing dining time 2 hours, but they explained it clearly when we sit down and did come to remind us upon last call time.

This is a very popular spot for AYCE hot pot, so be prepared to wait at least 1-1.5 hr on the weekend/1 hr on weekdays. You can’t call in to place a spot as you have to come in person to place your spot in the tablet. Reservations are only allowed to be made ahead of time for larger groups, and I would suggest to double check you have the right location as they have locations in Richmond BC as well. Although the wait times are generally long, this Liuyishou offers a few deals for waiting a certain amount of time. Their menu offers a good selection of meat, seafood, vegetables, snacks and much more. The only thing they don’t have much of are desserts unless you pay for the premium options. I got the White Pepper Chicken broth which was quite tasty, and I honestly couldn’t help but drink bowls of it 😆 For sauces, there is a table in the middle of the restaurant, and as well as fruits and the fried buns/seasame balls too. To order, you’d have to get a server, but it’s usually not an issue as they’re constantly coming around. Seating is 2 hrs, but you only have 1.5 hrs to order. Food generally came quite quickly, and staff are always around to clean your table. My only complaint would be that we waited over 15 mins for our popsicles, and when we finally got it, we had to pack up and leave as our seating time was over. I didn’t like how they kicked us out when we waited so long for them, and we had to take our popsicles with us to eat. IG: Ayeween

There aren't any suitable hotpot restaurants where I live, so I find myself driving down to Richmond Hill to satisfy the cravings. This is pretty close to the ideal for me in terms of what I'm looking for. The spicy soup with Beef Tallow is really up there in terms of restaurant hot pot flavor, the selection has almost everything I crave (except fried tofu, but fried gluten is an adequate substitute). The interior is clean, modern, boasting an impressive sauce bar, of which I indulged in the savory beef sauce and my standard mix of sesame paste, chive flower and red bean curd. On top of that, my server, KK, was prompt, polite, and attentive, and very patient with my clumsy attempts to speak in Chinese. This restaurant has my strong recommendation. PS: One serious plus: many hotpot restaurants offer complementary fried buns with condensed milk, a nostalgic, simple indulgence that takes me back to my childhood. Here, it's part of the sauce and snack bar, which means I can add as much condensed milk as my greedy heart desires. Big win.

Love this place! Perfect spot to get dinner with family or friends. They have a very extensive sauce bar and menu items. I love getting the sesame one and mixing it with vinegar, soy sauce, cilantro and green onions. The meat quality here is also excellent—be sure to try the lamb and quail eggs! Overall great service as well.

I had a sensational experience at the hot pot & scented candle workshop 🥘🕯 If you’re a hot pot lover like me, their candle workshop package is perfect for you because you get to make your own hot pot scented candle 🌶🔥 there is also a variety of essential oil scents you can add and I picked a lemon scent 🍋 This candle workshop package includes a handmade candle course (1 hour) + AYCE Liuyishou lunch: $95/person or $85/person (2 people) 🪔

Good price for unlimited quality ingredients for your hot pot. If you like chicken feet you will like the cold chicken feet dish. I also really enjoy the frog legs.

One of the best hotpot places ayce in Markham / Richmond Hill. The quality is great and the price is very reasonable (prices do not include soup base). They have the option of smaller individual pots or shared larger pots. Most importantly, the place is quite clean with COVID protocols. Highly recommend to give this place a try if you have have not tried already.

Came here for a friend’s bday lunch and had an absolutely 10/10 experience. We got a private room for the 10 of us. The service was warm and prompt, and the place was clean. The standout was definitely the sauce bar complete with small snacks like orange slices, pickled radish, and shrimp crackers. All of the meat + veggies + tofu was great quality as well. It was so much fun to create dipping sauces to our hearts content! They also made the birthday surprise extra special, but I won’t spoil how :) Definitely looking forward to returning~

Best all you can eat hotpot in Richmond Hill. I've been coming here for the past 6 years and now it's better than ever after the renovation. Hotpot ingredients are fresh and good quality. Service from Maggie was amazing!

Excellent experience! Me and my friend were having hot pot here. The food is fresh and delicious. We also played roulette and I won the free fruit drink! Customer service is brilliant and waiters always came and asked what we needed. Definitely will come again! 🥰

Me and my friend both tried to call many times to book a reservation, finally they picked up phone, and I was talking they hanged up the phone. Finally we came on Thursday night and had to wait for 20 mins before getting a table for 4 people. Foods were ok, no complaints. However the service was not good, we asked for water refill but they took the empty bottle and did not come back for more than 15mins, we needed to ask again. The table we had was very close to the restaurant entrance which was many people was waiting for their table and looked at us while eating, which was uncomfortable.

Pretty nice place for hotpot, plenty of meats and veggies to choose on AYCE menu. One thing I want to point out is the smell after the meal is pretty strong which you may need to take a shower and wash your cloth/jacket right after 😅 price is around $50 per person including tips

Came on a Sunday with a large group (we had reservations). Food came quickly and the soup bases we tried (chongqing spicy, tomato) was delicious! Beware if you cannot handle spice - we had spice level to be mild and it already packed a punch. Service was also fantastic.

Came on a Monday around 6:30pm and the place was not too busy. Everything was tasty, I particularly enjoyed the fish fillet. There’s a new dessert Mango sago which is very fresh and I like a lot. Received excellent service from Martin who was constantly checking on us and ensured we have a great time.

Excellent and quick service; this is all you can eat but food quality is great! Tables are spaced out…confident to eat here anytime! They had renovated so less tables than before! Will definitely come again!

I like this place, food is delicious with excellent services, KK and Iris gave me a very good experience, especially KK, very efficient and gave me many helpful introductions, including promotion info which I didn't notified during my last visit. I arrived around 6PM, but due to recent repair work at parking lot, it took me around 15 minutes to find a spot outside, and due to it was dinner time, so I waited around 20 minutes to be seated. I was so hungry since I ate nothing for whole day before I went there, KK noticed that I was impatient and not in the good mood, he managed to serve me ASAP and recommend me their soy milk since I ordered spicy soup. I only ordered several orders that I like most, and finished them without any waste within a hour, KK also gave me a free beef tripe which usually is only offered to big table which didn't waste any food. I can feel they really hope you can eat as much as you can since Iris also asked me several times "do you need anything else?", and they maybe feel that I ordered too less and finished too quickly, KK asked Iris to give me a free desert as well. I am very impressed for their hospitality. KK gave me many advices and promotion info,eg I can park to the underground parking place behind the store if I cannot find parking outside next time, he also mentioned they have promotions that if I come in the weekend or holidays and I finished very quickly, I will billed with discounts as a reward since I always finished my meal very quickly. I visited this place every months, although before their services are always in time, but they didn't always notify me updated promotions, so I appreciate KK's introduction and reminder for all these available promotion activities. I will definitely come back more often.

It was a nice experience to treat myself here for my birthday. There were many selections of meat, many choices to make your sauce and their medium spice specialty soup broth had a lovely flavor with a tiny numbing sensation with the experience. The staffs were great and attentive with the customers.

Great dining experience. Large selection of meats and ingredients, as well as warm ready-to-eat fried buns, spring rolls. Highly recommended, but the wait can be up to an hour. There's perks depending on your wait, free dessert or 12% off your bill. Awesome service and our waitress Vivian was lovely! Timely check-ins to see if we wanted to order more.

Delicious hot pot for a fair price. The spicy tallow soup base is very good, and so much variety to choose from on the menu. I also love the system that if you wait for more than 1 hour, you can get 12% off your meal price!

Good experience. It is all you can eat, maybe if I had more time, I would feel the cost is worth it. It was 4 of us, and the bill was over $200 with 2 pops and 1 beer. The broth was crazy hot for our senior mothers even though we asked them to recommend a non spicy broth. We weren't given instructions as to how to eat it and how it works, but we figured something out as we went along. There were lots of options to put in your pot. The mussels and shrimp were good. My friend tried the frog legs, and she liked it. I would go back. The staff was nice.

The food is great here! The service is also quick and the staff are attentive. They have a promotion right now, if you finish all your food at the table, you will receive 12% off your bill. Such a great way to encourage zero-food waste. Prepare for an hour plus wait if you don’t have a reservation on a Saturday night.

  • 4/5 James L. 2 years ago on Google
The food is good. However their waiting room is freezing like a fridge. During peak hour you might need to spend 1 hour in the waiting room. Make sure you got your most warm coat with you. Update: it seems the store owner are indeed closely monitoring the comments here. 10 minutes after the previous review posted, a technician was sent to the waiting room to fix the heater. That is fast!

This is definitely my top 2 hotpot place in the entire GTA area. The price was still okay after the covid inflation, and they still have such a long list of selection that we couldn't even try everything each time, like the menu here!Another I like about this place was the selection of the sauces, which was, again, enormous. So overall definitely a place I recommend to friends and colleagues all the time!

We had a lunch there on Saturday. We arrived early around 12pm and we're seated right away. There is plenty of choice. We loved lamb and frog legs. Good choice of soup bases. Our servers Sasha and KK were very nice and professional.
