After our 2-year-old daughter unexpectedly passed away, the planning process was incredibly difficult. The pain and sadness was unbearable. My wife and I visited a few places and were overwhelmed. We were referred by someone to Sean at Monument Direct in Richmond Hill. After meeting Sean for the first time, we knew it would be the place. I came to Monument Direct after contacting numerous other monument dealers and after speaking with Sean I knew that Monument Direct was my best option in terms of both quality and pricing. However, I came to Monument Direct with a very unique design and with an incomplete set of drawings and I was very nervous that the monument may turn out quite different from what I had in mind. But the way Sean addressed all of my concerns and requests made me feel confident and in control from the beginning to the end. After submitting the drawings I was allowed to change the orientation of the monument free of charge. Furthermore, a clay model of the main sculpture was created free of charge and pictures were sent for my review. I had the chance to provide feedback and the clay model was adjusted accordingly and new photos were sent for my approval. I was constantly and accurately updated on the status of the building and shipment. Once the monument arrived I was allowed to inspect it as many times I needed. I saw it before engraving and after and I was able to check that the engraving stencil followed exactly my font specifications. I was notified about the installation date and time and I was allowed to assist. The monument turned out better than I ever hoped. It is very expressive and it's top quality and the price was well below any other offer I received. I definitely recommend Monument Direct as the best monument dealer in Ontario.

Monument Direct, Sean, is very professional, empathetic and you get exactly what you are looking for a monument headstone. We dealt with Sean and our monument headstone was unique and complicated. When we were asking for quotes, we got quotes from other suppliers except Sean. Sean explained as to why it couldn’t be done and for what we wanted what was needed. Once that was cleared, we had several reiterations to get the quote. He was patent, provided insights and worked with us. We had several email exchanges and he was quick to respond. Other suppliers didn’t take the time to respond to calls and/or emails. Somethings to note, when you google ‘monument’ or headstone’, suppliers with similar name pop up. This is Monument Direct’, located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Also, to get a good quote, if your monument is a unique one, make sure you show pictures, from the selection of the colour of the stone to the font of the writing on the headstone on emails until you are sure that he has understood. Even after we picked an Angel monument from their website, the face of the Angel was similar to one on another website. Sean worked with us and the factory tirelessly to make sure we were happy with it or gave us the option of not proceeding with the full refund of our deposit. It was my first time shopping for an unusual item as a gravestone. I was appalled at the exorbitant price that the cemetery quoted me and it was really ridiculous.
