    This is a great place for Christmas shopping you can pretty much find anything and everything you need. From clothing to shoewear and pretty much any household items. Lets not forget jewellery and cosmetics. It also has a great collection colognes and perfumes

    I really want to love The Bay and have been a loyal customer for many years. But they really need to up their customer service, both online and in-person. Every recent interaction has been time-consuming, confused, and frustrating. Gift cards not working for online purchases, errors made by a cashier scanning items, stores with disorganized mishmash of inventory, a 10% discount offer that requires a phone call to activate -these make doing business cumbersome and not enjoyable.

    I recently visited this clothing store and I must say that I was impressed with their vast selection of clothing and accessories. The quality of the products is acceptable and the prices are fair, although they may be slightly higher than average or compared to other retailers such as Walmart or Joe Fresh. However, what sets this store apart is their amazing clearance section where you can find some great deals on high-quality items. Additionally, they also sell Zeller's products which adds to the variety of their offerings. I also appreciate their Bay days where they offer lower prices on certain items, which is a great opportunity to save even more. Overall, I highly recommend this store for anyone looking for a wide range of clothing options and good value for their money.

    Good prices and a clean store. It's a big location. Staff are helpful but some are not (It could be due to their culture, not being racist here). **Note: they do not accept tap, so make sure to bring your card with you. *Note: returns are only accepted with original receipt and I think within 30 days. There a huge parking lot and no washrooms were available. It is facing the parking so has a main entrance. -- 3 stars for having no contactless payment and for the new return policy. --

    I’ve been a customer of this Bay location for years and I usually have a great shopping experience. However, after trying on some items, I went to give the items to the person working on the fitting room and asked “Could I give these to you?” She said it’s store policy that customers hang up their selected items and put them on the rack themselves. I hung up and put my items away, but I asked another employee about this policy. They said it’s preferred to have customers put things onto hangers, but there wasn’t a store policy about it. Why lie just to avoid a task? This is basic customer service in a retail setting.

    There is a young lady (wears a head scarf) who was so unprofessional and rude that I will never ever shop here. I bought a shirt, and the security tag was still on. So I came back to her and asked her to remove it. I showed her my receipt. She was so rude and condescending. Instead of apologizing for her error, she kept being rude. I asked her to call a manager but she said that they were on a break!!! If you want horrible service go and see this “lady”. Shame on her.

    Soooo confused for the sign going to online return, please made the sign more clear direction. Finally I found the return counter, the lady ask me made the QR CODE for her to easily return. I don't know how to online doing the return and she give me exceptions for helping me to refund. Never made a refund need customer made the QR CODE themselves. I buy many online products, the QR CODE is directly email to customers after receiving the product. Please change your return policy.

    This Hudson’s Bay store is clean , organize and full of variety of cloths, wear house, shoes , cosmetics and jewelry . Price compare of the other retails is reasonable , today they had a good sale up to %50 . We enjoyed of our shopping today…

    There is a women working in cosmetics named "Shima". She has dark long hair with bangs and often accuses everyone of stealing perfumes, only to later find them in her own drawer. I have filed a complaint with HR. People like her, who are very rude and expect you to walk away without even speaking to a manager, need to be fired and taught how to treat a customer. Wearing an acceptable outfit doesn't make you an acceptable person when you provide terrible customer service. She works in cosmetics. I DO NOT recommend buying anything from this store!

    Hudson's Bay many years ago was very good store. Now it's looks like second hand. Everywhere mess, dust on shelves , all things doesn't have tag and price. Long lines to the checkout. Clothes are bad quality. No one around ask for help. Hadson's Bay in Richmond Hill needs a new manager and reorganization.

    Faezeh from Department of furniture has Amazing customer skill and problem solving skills. Encountered payment difficulties but she handled the whole situation very well. She definitely deserved a raise and I would recommend her to my family and friends in the future. :)

    I came here with my wife to look for shoes and we were out of luck. We did however find a lot of kitchenware that I was not expecting that HBC would have. I had a good time at this store location and I love the location of The Bay. It's a good mall and the area isn't sketchy.

    Had a wonderful christmas shopping experience today because of a very helpful, friendly, cheerful and very lovely lady, Saba from the Chanel counter. She helped me with my purchases, wrapped my gifts beautifully, made awesome recommendations and just really kept the mood light and exciting, as shopping should be..     As a plus size woman, I have very few options to get clothing. Went to Hillcrest mall this afternoon only to find out the Bay had discontinued in-store plus size shopping. Only on-line, I refuse to pay shipping charges! Perhaps I'll try Talbot's outlet store. Great deals!

    Online order pickup is terrible. Email instructions said go to a desk at the linen department. We waited there for 10 minutes and there were no one there. Found someone and they told us it's at another location. They have ONE person there to handle a single lineup which includes both returns and pickup. After 20 minutes, we finally got our turn and found out that they gave us the wrong color. They led us to another department and we wasted another 15 minutes until they figured out it's out of stock. Then we had to go to another location to get it refunded since they charged our credit card already. Totally wasted 45 minutes there, plus 30 minutes of driving (we drove to this location far from our home because the online order says the item was available only at this location and ready for pickup). Incredible. Trying to support brick and mortar stores but so disappointed.

    Just had the best experience ever with Azita! She was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone so hardworking/multitasking yet still so customer oriented. Exceptional customer service, she really went above and beyond to help despite being busy. I’d definitely come back just to get her opinion and advice on other items!

    Amazing friendly location with great selection of winter jackets. Super helpful people at the cashier's. Make sure to double check the price with them as the tag price might not always be the latest sale one. Plenty of parking at the plaza, open till 8 pm, and the only doors open at that time are from the parking/Yonge St side.

    If I could give a 0 rating I would. My mom and my whole family have been loyal customers of the Hudson Bay for over 25 years. We have always known it to be a reputable company selling high quality products. My mom told me she recently tried the new Online Marketplace. She has been working a lot and so shopping from home seemed more convenient. She was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful pictures and products. She ordered $120 worth of merch. What she received, however, was far from what was advertised online. She said the products were of very low quality and nothing like advertised online. So she contacted Hudson Bay for support. They were quick to wash their hands off and directed her to the Marketplace directly to resolve the issue. It's always funny to me when large corporations who are clearly profiting from these mergers are quick to bounce the blame back and forth aimlessly until the customer gets so discouraged that they just want to let it go. The Bay is perfectly comfortable with increasing its own profits from this deal with the Marketplace but does not want to accept any responsibility when things go wrong. All I have to say is the Bay and Marketplace together earned $120 on this sale. But lost thousands in future income from a loyal customer and their family. Needless to say we are switching to competitor brands such as Sephora, Home Sense, Amazon, Walmart. Thankfully there are endless choices.

    I love the Bay. Often times there are decent sales. I hope we can hang on to the covid times because there aren't that many decent places to shop anymore. This particular Bay has a good selection everything you would expect in a department store.

    This store is terrible. Their sales of 50% off are ridiculous. Do they really think they are fooling the public, yes. If women wouldn't fall for their nonsense, they would have to lower their prices and then maybe we would have a proper department store in the GTA. I have shopped in Buffalo for years so I know decent dept stores. Unfortunately we have no good places to shop for anything and The Bay is the least place I would shop for ANYTHING!

    Not much new stock, the service is nearly zero. The whole store is empty even during Bay Day. I went to Cosmetic counter , I spent half an hour to purchase a lipstick. No one serve, Disappointing.

    Unfortunately I had bad experience in this branch. poor customer service and bad behaviour, I am pregnant and I was looking for a baby shower dress, the staff who work in fitting room was unfriendly and impolite (the girl with Roya name), she gave me 10 hangers and ask me to hang the dresses! I’ve never ever had experience like this!!!! Always customers come first everywhere!!!! First time in Canada someone told me hang these 10 dresses! I gave dresses to her back and I let her manager know what’s happening in the store! If you don’t like your job don’t waste your time and others.

    Canadian store that we all should support ! My family have been shopping at the Bay since the early 70s. Haven't stopped since. Affordability and luxury in one store. Not your place for Louis V or Gucci, but it's never been known for those brands and lasted the test of time selling great quality products from up and coming entrepreneurs that other retail companies wouldn't support. Keep up the great work and great customer service! I'll be back

    I have not shopped at this location in a long time but yesterday I shopped in 4 different departments: lingerie, shoes, jewelry and dresses. The customer service was top notch, got the assistance I needed and was reminded of the additional Bay Day discounts. The merchandise and staff has definitely improved.

    I honestly love the bay. Sometimes when you buy in store it’s cheaper online and they will price match it. Bay days are always a good way to find the best deals. Usually a good amount of staff working. Only issue I have is with the affirm payments not working. Two times I wanted to purchase some items and pay in installments and affirm took my payment but the order wasn’t placed. If they could fix that it be great.

    Hudson's Bay is one of my favorite store since I came here in Canada(May of 2009). Men's, women's , kid's apparel, kitchen and all cooking appliances, gift items, bedding sets, to name a few and everything needed at home are superb. The employees are very attentive and their services are excellent, very contented yesterday me and my partner bought a double wall stainless steel kettle, Donna the sales clerk who assisted us was so nice and helpful. Love Hudson's Bay in Hillcrest Mall, in Richmond Hill. Rated 5 ✨ stars. It's one of the best.

    The bay has been a reliable store for shopping with good customer service. But recently everything shifted & quality of service dropped. When you're in the store apparently nobody cares what you need or how they can help you. The bay's online shopping is even worse. Always mistakes in orders handling & out of inventory.

    The Hudson Bay in Richmond Hill is large and big. I was there trying to check furniture, unfortunately the display is chaotic, unorganized, it really takes away from the value of these furnitures. I looked fir help while in the kitchen division but everyone pretended being busy.

    An old lady, with glasses, short hair, at the checkout (cashier in the women's section). I just wanted to buy that DAMN dress! why are you wasting my time telling me about all the promotions, cards and NOT punching my goods! I just want to buy a dress and leave. In response, I get a 10 minute lecture about MasterCard, Hudson's Bay cards, other cards.... that can be issued in a store and other nonsense. I immediately said “I'm not interested this”! what else?? is not clear?? I consider this service unacceptable, since you do not care about the time of your customers.

    I had wonderful experience last weekend in Dior booth at Hudson’s Bay. I wanted to buy capture total eye cream and skin care. I found Romina really friendly and helpful. She kindly suggested me how to use the Skin Care cream. Interestingly, when my husband came in, he remembered that Romina had helped him too last year to choose suitable cream for me as a gift. She is both knowledgable and hospitable. Highly recommended.

    Online it shows Hudson Bay opens till 8 pm same as the mall hours but it isn’t the case. It closes and hour earlier. Went in to exchange an item, lined up for 10 min just to be told to go to a different area to do the exchange. When I went to Estée Lauder they basically told me they can’t help me because it is closed for the day. It was 7:03pm and the customer representative said, I’m done at 6:45 and I stayed back. You can come tomorrow, nobody wanted to help and the representative said it’s closed at 7pm since last year as if I should have known their store hours. I mentioned it doesn’t say that online and if it was changed since last year why is google showing that they closed at 8pm. Everyone in the store was just rushing people out and the customer service was horrible, tons of terminals around and nobody could do an exchange

    Well now let's see...not one single person at the make up or perfume counters even looked at me nor approached me. They did, however, approach those who looked like they had money. Little did these people realize how much money I had to spend. But because they didn't want anything to do with me, I went elsewhere to buy the products I needed. So, overall, Hudsons Bay had lost its desire to help the common customer. And because of that, I have decided not to purchase from them again.

    What a amazing experience at the bay in Hillcrest mall. We were looking to purchase some perfumes. We were looked after by the best sales consultant Lucy, who went above and beyond her job description to help us. She was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with.     Very bad experience with the watches department of this The Bay location. Simply did not care about my time and shrugged me off as if I was not important to them. Was also told watch repair man would return within 20 mins, only to find out after coming back in 20 that it will make me another 20. No apology though none was expected. Unfortunately I cannot leave a review specifically for that department within The Bay.

    The middle Eastern woman with dark curly hair, blue eyes in mens fragrance was a liar , and she has 0 personal skills. I will not go back to purchase there if she is working ever. You can tell she hates her job. You are losing sales having her as a sales associate. I had a good Experience with another lady a few weeks ago at the same location . She was extremely helpful on helping me chops a fragrance. And added samples to my purchase. So I was coming back to purchase another cologne.     If I could give this negative 5 stars I would. I spent so much time shopping at multiple locations for a formal dress to wear to a wedding. I finally bought a dress with a 25% friends/family discount. Took it to get altered a week before the wedding and they found holes in it which I hadn't noticed! I had no time to go in person to the store as it was so close to the wedding and we had family in town for the wedding as well as a trip planned with family. I called the Bay customer service hoping they can ship me another one, spent 1.5h with them on the phone, and all they could offer me was a 10% discount (not the 25% that I had gotten initially) and express shipping. Their response was "well you bought a dress with holes in it". They're the ones who sold me a DEFECTIVE and expensive product, did not mark down that it was defective. I was very upset felt ripped off. I thought that when I go to the Bay, I would get GOOD QUALITY products and good customer service, but I got an expensive DEFECTIVE product with horrible customer service, and was left wearing a dress with holes in it to a wedding since I had no time to go buy another outfit. Thank you for ruining what was supposed to be a great evening - NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN.

    If you're in a hurry or your aunt has young children, this store is not the right choice. The employees feel as if they are working for free. No one cares about the customer, you can stand in line for half an hour and the manager will be very unhappy with the remark.

    Went to the store to return few items from the online order. That's great to have the option to return in store, but the issue with this location is only few check out services are there and open to serve the byers. The lines are so long on weekend. They are understaffed.

    Go ahead. It's probably more wallet friendly than you think. Yes, there are plenty of beautiful, high quality pieces here that may have prices to match. But I was impressed on this last visit that it's pretty easy to find amazing stuff on sale too.

    It's always clean, a little short on staff, hard to find cash and usually you gotta wait a while to get checked out. I'd say overpriced but considering the size of their store i guess we are paying for the convenience and easier going return policy.

    This Hudson's Bay location is beautiful and fashion, and comparable to other high-end locations. The store is very organized and clean. Selections are also quite different from some other locations that we usually visited. I don't feel "old" going to this Hudson's Bay location.

    We went to the Estee Lauder beauty section in Hudson's Bay at Hillcrest Mall in order to buy products at Gala night which we waited for a long time and were so excited about that exclusive offers by Estee Lauder. When my wife and I went there, there was a lady named “LEILA”who said she is the manager of the section. As my wife did her study the night before, she was quite sure about what to buy. She asked Leila for some creams to become eligible to buy "The Ultimate Gift Includes 10 Full-Size Favourites" package for purchase by purchase. Leila was the WORST OF THE WORST advisor we have ever seen in the whole Estee lauder beauty section anywhere in GTA. She misled us as she wanted us to buy more old-fashioned products in order to increase her sales to get more commissions. After 2 hours of wasting our time eventually with my interfering in the discussions, we came to the conclusion to buy the products my wife has already decided to buy. My wife and her cousin spent more than 700 dollars on Estee Lauder products. When she found out that her plan to mislead us was unsuccessful, she changed her behaviour and gave us an attitude. I was super shocked and was furious, but only because my wife and her cousin were buying and I didn't want to ruin their happiness, I didn't say anything. Worst part was when my wife and her cousin asked for any sample gift bags as a sign of appreciation due to the amount they bought, she refused to give any samples as she said "I already gave you the Ultimate Gift Includes 10 Full-Size Favourites" package!!!! I couldn’t stand Leila anymore and I wanted to talk to the manager of Hudson’s Bay, but the manager was not there anymore. The way she treated us made me so furious and I am going to file a complaint against the headquarters of Estee Lauder and Hudson's Bay head office.

    Very scammy and disgusting practice by the cashier, they did not tell us they are charging a quarter for plastic bag now. When I noticed after my purchase I can’t get a return. This is a dramatic difference then other stores I visited, they are either giving free reusable bags or did inform customer beforehand. I know a quarter is not a lot, but shame on you. Go TRAIN your staff, they should inform customers beforehand, hidden charges are illegal.
