Dined out here with my family. Have mixed feelings about this place. I wish Google would allow us to review businesses by breaking them down into more specific categories (i.e. food, service and price). Food was great! I would I give it 4 Stars. If it was service or overall customer experience I would give it -1 Star. As for price 2 Stars. I understand that restaurants are trying to recoup lost revenue from Covid. I also understand that I am dining during a Saturday night. However what I do not understand is that as a customer I should be given a reasonable amount of time to eat my meal. From sitting down, ordering the food, having the food arrive at our table, actually eating, serving us desserts and paying for the bill - my family, of 7, and I were in and out of the restaurant in a record 1 hour!! While we were still eating the staff had the audacity to bring out take out containers for us to pack up the remaining food on the table. If given a decent amount if time to eat, take out containers would not have been necessary. Let us talk about price now. This place quite expensive (cash or debit only). Amongst some of the dishes we ordered are the Turbot Special (fish) ($230.59), Wild Fungus Mushroom & Veggies ($48.99) and Eight Treasure Stuff Duck ($71.92), respectively. At these price points, I would have appreciated a little extra time to enjoy my meal, rather than to have to wolf it down or be forced to pack it to go.

We were looking to book a restaurant for our daughters 100 day dinner and decided on flavourful house based on the good reviews. It did not disappoint! Boss lady Anna was extremely patient and understanding as we regrettably called multiple times to change the date and time of our dinner. We were able to book one of their rooms. She kindly made recommendations as we weren’t sure what to order. So glad we went with her recos! The service and all the food was excellent but what stood out to me the most was the stir fry fungus and pumpkin! This is a must try item on their menu and it may not sound like much but it was extraordinary. You guys. IT TASTES LIKE TRUFFLES! It’s either the taste of one of the mushrooms used or they used truffle salt. It was DELICIOUS. I could probably finish that whole dish myself. I would go back to flavourful house just for that item! Ps some of their specialty items needs to be pre ordered like the taro duck, glutinous rice in chicken wing, glutinous rice in whole chicken, crab and fried milk etc.

I think this restaurant opened up recently after the pandemic. They are very busy, as the restaurant was full on a weekday evening. Lots of chinese dish selection, including seafood. Prices might be slightly higher than other restaurants, but the food is cooked well with fair portion sizes. They also served soup and green bean dessert for free, so I'm giving them 5 stars. Waitresses speak Cantonese. There's a large TV that shows CP24 news channel. Many people order the lobster (market price).

The dishes are very tasty and portions generous, and the service is fast and attentive. While the prices may be slightly higher than other restaurants, the quality and taste of the food make it worth it. Make sure to call in advance for a reservation because they are often very busy and popular! I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant for anyone who loves authentic, delicious cuisine!

We really enjoyed the food and experience dining here. Service was top notch and keeping customers comfort in mind. For 1st timers, they have a page of recommended dishes. We had the Soy Sauce Chicken and Teppan Beef, it was so delicious. The complementary peanuts, daikon and dessert was perfect to start and finish the meal. Will definitely be back and highly recommended!

I always thought Skyview fusion cuisine was the best in york region Until now. Dishes exceed my expectations in terms of taste, but today im not here to talk about their taste. Taste was obviously good and no question about it. Im here to talk about their special dishes that you wont be able to find anywhere else. Also, with those special dishes you need to pre order in advance in order to eat them. For more info, you have to speak to the owner. Also, they do not have set menus(in case anyone want to have any event with set dinners) Vip room needs to be pre book prior the day of.

Most dishes are really good. Balanced flavour with 鑊氣。 Super good service and able to somewhat custom to your needs. I think one of their expertise is 生拆蟹肉. Their crab dish is very good, especially the crab meat with fried milk. All the portions are huge. Great place to go with big groups. Parking is rather limited but that means this place is popular.

Check out this TAROffic meal, every dish is exceptionally delicious😋 The Deep Fried Duck with Taro was a MUST, it had smooth Taro Puree topped on Duck Fillet, deep fried to the perfect crispy top, we couldn’t get enough of this! Stir Fried Diced Beef with Garlic & Mushroom was our favourite, it packed Wok Hey, seasoned beautifully, the Beef was tender, juicy, so good! These Stuffed Chicken Wings were AMAZING, they have 2 different fillings (Sticky Rice or Minced Shrimp), Sticky Rice added a great chewiness to it and Minced Shrimp was super juicy, the Wings itself were fried to perfection, LOVED IT! Pumpkin Crab Meat Soup was a Pumpkin Puree Soup that had one whole Dungeness Crab Meat in it, super nourishing and delicious! Salted & Preserved Egg Poached Pea Shoots had a TON of diced Duck Eggs and the Sauce was flavourful! Calling ahead to reserve your table and the Duck, Wings and Soup are required!

Warning!!! Let me first state that the food here was delicious. Unfortunately I found a HUGE Shard of Plastic within my salted egg yolk tiger shrimp and pumpkin dish. I told the server just to inform the kitchen staff about this. But in return they said it was fish bones. I didn't want to argue so I continued to finish the rest of my meal. When finishing a second dish, I found another sharp object, not as hard as the first item I found but it was able to split it. It was a wooden sharp piece. The servers from before avoided seeing me. So a man from the back came out and greeted me and he also said the item I found was also a fish bone. He claims that when they were butchering large fish head the bones must've fell into the dish. And then I informed that I found it in two seperate dishes. He continue to say it was fish bones. You guys can decide if this is "fish bone" also they admitted to cross-contamination. Seniors and kids should avoid eating here. There's a lot of "fish bones."

I love this place for seafood dinner and Chinese tapa dishes. Now they started serving lunch new spot for all Cantonese food and BBQ! Madam Ann is so hands-on, you won't be disappointed. Check the Canton style BBQ duck and BBQ pork! So good!

The food is amazing for a late night joint! I found it through delivery but the restaurant itself is quite hidden away. Service is great. The prices are higher than some comparable restaurants, but the food quality and taste justifies it.

SOY / LEGUME Allergy Friendly: Yes G6PD Deficiency Friendly: Yes Baby Friendly: Yes If you have food sensitivities, you will likely know Cantonese restaurants are extremely challenging due to the preparation and marinations. This place is not only super friendly and patient to cater & research ingredients for my sons specific sensitivities, their dishes are super delicious. Our favourite dishes are: - hand shredded chicken - sweet and sour pork - corn sauce fried fish - fresh razor clams - daily soup is tasty The staff are wonderful. Friendly and sociable service staff at a Cantonese restaurant is so refreshing. Even the chef is willing to answer questions! This place has become my defacto Cantonese restaurant!

Group of 10. We ordered 10 dishes. The food definitely was one of the best in town. All the servers were friendly and helpful. The boss even spent time to ensure all the orders are right at our expectations. If you never been to this place, definitely you won't be regard.

I have been to this restaurant a few times. Service has always been friendly and efficient. I enjoy their food very much and I don’t think I am alone since this place does get quite busy. They offer free daily soup and dessert which is a nice touch. Great place for a family meal or come with friends and have a few drinks while enjoying their wok hay authentic Cantonese dishes!!! To avoid disappointment check their menu before going as some of their specialty dishes need to be preordered! Will recommend!

With a recent food cost and overall inflation cost of living, we need to adjust your dine-in frequently visit times. We dine in and ordered more than 9 dishes (offers one free dessert) at Flavourful House restaurant for a group of 6 people. We're satisfied with the food portion and ridiculous "not too salty, just make" food tastes. The only disappointed item was the 3lbs ginger and onion Lobsters Stir Fried with Maggi Sauce, the dish was come last..

With respect to the pricing, I will say it's worth a five star, good portions, overall tasty. Among the dishes we have, only the rice noodle dish is a bit bland. A bit long wait with reservation made. I think dine after 8pm will shorten the waiting time.

Ok, their menu is very extensive but most of the seafood dishes are marked as "Market Price". Without getting too adventurous and especially when the tables next to me are popping their French Bordeauxs. I went for their middle of the road dishes. All good except the Haka style pork belly preserved mustard green is a but too tough and does not melt in your mouth. Comes with dessert though.

First time here for dinner they had the razor clam and scallop seafood special so we order that as well as mui jee duck and egg plant yi mein, all the dishes were great the black bean stir fry razor clam could have been hotter in temp but none the less it was very yummy, the duck was also very good big portion, I also loved the yi mien it has egg plant and bbq pork very delish, and I will be back.

Surprisingly delicious! Came here with a couple of friends for dinner. We ordered 7 dishes for seven people. The dishes were moderately sized but the flavor of all the dishes were on point. Service was great, tea and water was topped up regularly they also have peanuts and pickled vegetables to munch on while we wait. Note that this place only takes cash or debit. Unfortunately, photos were not taken for this meal.

Good quality of food and hood layout for some privacy for talking and or enjoying your meal. Their specials are pretty solid offering. Staff was quick to attend when you enter and was also visible to help. Would recommend the roast pigeon, fried pumpkin and fried glutenous rice

Food was excellent. But no checking of vaccine certificate and guest id. Very crowded with minimum to no social distancing especially in the private rooms.

It's s little hard to find... the restaurant faces hwy7... not like the other stores that face the parking lot. Great value. Portions size was good. The sweet and sour pork dish and the shrimp and scallops garlic fried rice were nightlight of the meal. Loved that the pork was still crispy on the outside... even after drenched in sauce.
