I do not like to write poor reviews but the pharmacist there was extremely rude to me! The phone system told me that flu shots were available for walk-in only and I stayed on hold for over a half hour waiting to speak to someone to confirm this and find out if they had the high dose for my parents. Eventually I had to hang up and my mom walked over and it turns out they didn’t have it. I went the next day because they had told her there were just regular flu shots and the pharmacist was just flat out rude. It turns out they only do appointments, which is fine but I feel like the situation could have been handled better.

Great place to buy pharmacy products. Like any other location, they have a beauty section and the Canada Post location in the back.

Folks at this location are amazing! I have been coming to this location since it opened and have always been served with a smile. All the pharmacists there are knowledgeable and super friendly. All front store and post office staff are very nice and always ready to help. Highly recommend!!

This employee needs to be fired, your company needs to provide staff training. Repost: My friend was robbed this morning at the Shopper Drug Mart at 1070 Major Mackenzie Dr E, Richmond Hill, ON L4S 1P3. She was checking her lotto tickets at the kiosk when two young men came up behind her, jostled her and pushed her and took her purse. When she reported it to the cashier, he refused to call the police. Told her she was was either a liar or imagining things and just misplaced it somewhere in the store. told her to look around the store for it.. it should be mentioned that the cashier had a clear sightline to where she was robbed. By the time she got home and called her bank and credit card companies to report the theft, the thieves had already stolen $700 by using the tap feature at Wal-mart and other stores in the plaza. It could have been worse: they tried to use her bank card at the ATM at BMO but they couldn't figure out her PIN. Being robbed was bad enough but being disrespected by the store staff is an even greater concern. Be very careful at that plaza at Major Mac and Bayview and consider disabling tap payments on your cards

A warning to anyone with any serious aliments about this pharmacy. You know what I'm absolutely done with this shoppers drug mart they lost a customer. They put you on hold for forever they are clearly very incompetent at simple things such as contacting your doctor for a refill on an asthma inhaler when you request they do, or transferring prescriptions to another pharmacy because they are out of what you need. Absolutely unprofessional and I'm planning on transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere and taking my business elsewhere. This is beyond frustrating and words can't even begin to explain.

I had a great experience here, Forogh who is a staff in cosmetics gives you amazing advice for your beauty products, perfume and specially cream for your skin. She is so nice and polite. She is the best one .

The lady (Erica) in post office is the most useful person in the all Shoppers in North York and Richmond Hill area.

Beth and her staff have been almost like family. We have used this location while living in Richmond Hill and have never had any problems. Friendly staff who go above and beyond to help you with whatever you need. Will miss them when we move.

Came here for COVID vaccine. Booked 1 week in advanced via phone call, took me 2 calls to finally have someone pick up the phone. They provide Pfizer vaccine at this location, no other type (at the time I called). Later on, due to some personally circumstances, I need to reschedule my appointment and the staff are helpful with rebook me next week. Upon arrival, I was asked to fill out a form. The form was a photocopy version and a lot of lines are pretty blurry, so I missed filling out one field. Staff pointed out to me and I filled it in. Although the form has asked questions such as "have you been travelled out of country in the last 14 days", and which I answered no. But the staff still ask the same questions when they got my completed form and enter my info into the system. Guess they are being extra careful? But I find it a bit redundant and waste of time. There was a short wait and I was not able to get my shot at my booked time, despite I arrived 5 mins earlier than my appointment time. The guy who administer the shot is very friendly, he made small talks and do his best to ease my nervousness. One thing I notice is that he didn't wear gloves, but I guess it's not a very big deal as he sanitize everything before and after. There were 3 chairs in the waiting/ resting area, and I was told to stay for 15 mins after the shot. There's ample of parking, and a walk-in clinic right next to this Shoppers.

Erica at the Post Office was really helpful. She actually knows what she’s doing compared to the 4 other locations I had been to which just gave us the run around. Highly recommend this Canada post, especially due to Erica’s excellent customer service skills!

Worse experience at the cashier line up. Another customer using at the self checkout and I was lining up at the cashier. The self check out customer got cash out at the cashier before me for whatever reason. Then what is the point of line up????

I’ve been dealing with this pharmacy for over 10 years. I have never had any issues. They are always polite friendly. They always get my prescriptions correct and they’re always either early or on time. They treat elders, as well as everyone, with respect also. Small town welcoming in a bigger city is rare so kudos for keeping current yet traditional in manners & respect for fellow patrons. Will happily continue to do business with this location.

I felt sorry for the cashier, an old lady who didn't make much sense was asking him questions he couldn't answer and scolding him. Gave him a dollar tip.

I called the pharmacy 3x and they just hung up the phone, employees don't answer the phone and its regarding patient prescription.

I did my covid test here and OMG. First they are not using a cotton swab its something with bristles on it and the young untrained and made of sand and stone technician says it will take 10 seconds and 25 seconds later she still using a bristle brush up my nose nearly touching my brain. And when you tell her it hurt she looks at you like DUH!! Never going back here again

There is a part-time staff work at the post office always over charge the postage fee. I am not saying he did it on purpose but he should really know the rate better as a post office staff.

Very friendly and helpful lady at the Canada Post at the back of the store... She explained the Flex Delivery option very clearly and calmly. High-quality service that I honestly wasn't expecting :)

One of the pharmacies assistant called Jason was extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to book my second HPV dose here, he was so rude to me and said he cannot guarantee to book an appointment for me. And at this time, his manager said they can do this and I got book it successfully. Hey Jason, if you don’t understand the working schedule and what kind of appointments you could do, why are you still working here? If you are not satisfied with your working, go somewhere else. I don’t want to see you in this pharmacy ever again!!!!! Certainly, I have called Shoppers to make a claim of this person. I treated people politely and I expect the same. Other stuff in this pharmacy are very nice and they don’t deserve to work with such a guy like JASON.

Stopped by to pick up my prescription that my GP faxed over a couple of days ago (so it should be ready) - I even called the pharmacy earlier to confirm whether they received it or not. The pharmacy assistant Jason told me that there wasn’t anything on record. Which is fine but I simply asked if there was anywhere else to be checked for it since I had confirmation that it was faxed and received. He laughed at me while saying “I don’t know what you want me to do, do you want a business card?” Absolutely ridiculous customer service, it is not okay to laugh at your customers regardless of the situation.. I’m having my office refax it to a different pharmacy.. been using this place for years, don’t know what happened with their service.

The employee named Raven in cosmetics was very racist and rude towards me. When I tried to ask her why she was treating me with discrimination she started yelling saying she can talk however she wants and cursed at me as she walked away. One other employee there witnessed this and the others heard as she was very loud. I politely asked one employee for a manager or a supervisor because I got cursed at. He said he heard, but he was sorry as the supervisor was busy. So basically there are no consequences for the way they do customer service and treat people.

The pharmacy lady is so unpolite she did not let me finish my parents cannot speak english she said she canmot help although she can speak madarine i can undersatnd buy she is so mean and not polite at all! The only thing she did is to let my parents go and whenever they are ready to do everything by themselves in english then they can be back for asking help! How come everybody lose patience and being rude?!
