Excellent service, taste very good. Highly recommended.

Came across this place from a Chinese social media site (little red book). The reviews were 80/20 on the two extreme ends. Decided to give it a try anyway. Ordered JingJiangRouSi, shredded pork, almost like MoShu just with a different sauce. First of all, I can understand if the flavour is off at times. But the meat was supposed to be thinly cut. Instead they were much larger pieces and not consistent in sizes. Then the sauce was very watery. The sesame pancake was very dry and difficult to chew. I’m giving it 2 stars because the restaurant’s price and deco is definitely on the low end. So I probably shouldn’t have given it too much expectation. But wondering where people with 5 start reviews got the awesome taste from? I’ll give another dish a try later and update this review then.

Family taste, great service, make their own seasoning sauce, yummy food.

The staple food has no taste. Credit card payment is not supported here, and the spicy hot pot dishes are not cooked, they are all pepper and chili.

This restaurant serves the tastiest Sichuan and Shandong food in Richmond Hill. My favorite dishes from this restaurant are pi-jiu duck (啤酒鸭), kou-shui chicken (口水鸡), lamb spine bone (羊蝎子), shredded pork with Beijing sauce (京酱肉丝). I would highly recommend these dishes and this restaurant to anyone.

This restaurant is so damn good with super good value. A pitcher is only 8.99???? The food itself is super cheap too with really great taste. Highly highly recommended. The decor is awful, with different chairs on different tables. One table had 4 different chairs. But honestly, it’s a part of the charm.

Recommended by a friend but when we both ordered pickup there, the food is terrible. The worst moo shu pork I ever had in my life. Other dishes taste ok but a bit too salty. Maybe will try some other dishes that people recommended in their review in the future.

The food here is tasty with a large portion, and the price is very affordable. Restaurant is run by a nice and kind couple, I feel they are working hard to bring their hometown food to people. I love going to this cozy restaurant, it deserves more customers and attention. Truly recommend.

I always eat lunch at here with my colleague. I really like their services and foods. The owner is very welcoming like your family. BTW, their Mushu pork is really delicious!！

They provide authentic Chinese food with excellent service. I ordered many times from them during pandemic time. Red Lamb Stew Scorpion Pot, Pan-Fried Lamb with Cumin and Fried Chinese Naan Bread are my favorite. And will try others in menu next time.

Clean small restaurant. Owner is super friendly. Followed COVID protocols. Affordable price and good portion. My husband and I tried Sirloin tomato stew and spicy potato floss. Both dishes taste very delicious. Would recommend if you want to try out authentic casual northern style Chinese dishes.
