I bought a chicken shawarma wrap and a chicken shawarma on rice today. Both of my orders have raw meat in them. More than half of the wrap is just wrap by wrapping itself. Very disappointed experience here.

Phenomenal This place is absolutely amazing and the dishes and the wraps are just awesome. The dish I took, Iskender, was delicious and it easily works for two to three people. The Adana Kenab wrap was also tasty and the kebab was tender, and juicy. Absolutely recommended

DISGUSTING shawarma- worst I’ve ever had. Employee wouldn’t honour the 25% off second wrap- even though it’s posted- she said “not today”. Really?? And the chicken meat was all super dark and crunchy- obviously old. Complete waste of $28. Had to throw out both wraps.

At first I didn’t think it would be as good as it was. Seemed bit expensive but you do get good portion and vegetables were fresh. Shawarma was bit dry though. Sauces come on the side and not on top. Tip was asked up front which is always a 🙄... Service could be bit faster too. I gave 5 ⭐️ based on portion size , quality and taste. 👍

Order chicken on the rocks over the phone- lady was rude, and didn’t make even put garlic sauce on the order. Complete waste of time and tasted terrible, couldn’t even eat it. Staff in store was rude, brash and unprofessional. Horrible customer service at this location

Very low portion and it doesn't have worth it with this price 4 spoon rice and a little meat with some salad 27$ I had a good experience in the Vaughan location Big portion and low price This my last time bought any thing from this location

I don’t know what people are talking about because the wrap I just had here was EXCELLENT. The best chicken shawarma wrap I’ve ever had! I was on Ubereats and they were doing BOGO so I ordered from them even though I’ve never heard of them before. The wraps are huge and LOADED. At first I’m like hmm, something is off because the wrap is a bit floppy but I ended up loving it. The tortilla wrap is different from what I’m used to. This one is soft, thin, stretchy and a bit chewy. SO GOOD. Mine was loaddded with ingredients and just tasted so good. I will definitely order again.

This place is horrible. The meat tasted like plastic crispy dry and chewy as well as burnt in some places. How are they still in business is beyond me.

I tried wrap meat shawerma which was not good enough. The meat smelled not good and the atmosphere was old and kind of dirty.

One of my new favorites, always friendly service, food is always fresh and delicious and I love that they mix the shawarma up b4 wrapping it so every bite has the same taste. So good! Chicken Shawarma is my current favorite item. I'll be returning on the regular

I already ate at the others location in Toronto downtown and North York it was an amazing experience and better food than this location especially with meat and chicken quantity. Please 🙏 solve this issue as we love eat in your brand. For the meat cut it was different too I don't like it I prefer the downtown location or the north York one.

So very disappointed! I’m usually a big fan of Zagros. At least I was of the original location in north Vaughan. However, over the past 6 months or so the Richmond Hill location on MajorMac went from a 4 star average to less then a single star. But my last few experiences here have been getting worse with each visit. One or two bad experiences can be explained away as perhaps they had a bad day. But it’s been consistently getting worse. In portion size, quality and freshness. I literally just had my last meal from this place. They are now officially done as my go to place for shawarma. The chicken portion was pathetic. And it was so dried out that it tasted like it was yesterday’s leftovers. The potatoes were so dry and discoloured they were unrecognizable. And the bread was stale. I cannot believe that whoever owns / operates this place thinks this is acceptable. I’m sure it’ll catch up to them soon enough and they’ll feel it eventually in their pocket books. Food lovers beware! There is nothing to love about this place! Period!

Food - 5/5 Cleanliness -2/5 Food was tasty and the meat was freshly cut from. Recommended food- Chicken Shawarma (serves 2 persons easily) Even though the lady who’s at the store on 14th October, 2023 in the noon was friendly she used the same gloves to take cash from the customers and touched the food using the same glove. Even she rolled the shawarma using that glove. She picked food fallen on the table top she used to have the shawarma and put them back in the shawarma.

Terrible … wouldn’t recommend. First ordered from this place a few years back and loved it so much - so tasty, super generous portions, reasonable prices. Fast forward a few years later and the quality is terrible - they reduced the sizes of the takeout boxes and they now don’t even fill the salad to 3/4 of the tiny salad compartment of the box… portion sizes are terrible, food isn’t tasty anymore, they ask if you want sauce on the side and when you select that they put sauce all over Your food anyways… terrible packaging and everything leaks,.. and price has gone up,.. lost a good customer and wouldn’t recommend this place anymore!

Food is ok, def less quantity than other Zagros locations . Ordered beef doner sandwich except they forgot the meat and sent a pita with lettuce and tomato! Very upsetting . How do you forget the meat ? Lentil soup was tasty but very peppery .

I would never recommend coming here! Today, I ordered with my children a chicken shawarma and beef shawarma wrap. The beef was not even cooked well and not heated. It was just spinning there. My children absolutely hated it, they felt like they were going to vomit. The chicken was also not well cooked and very old. It tasted like raw meat. The employees refused to give my money back and the service was very rude. On top of that, the service was also very slow. I had to wait almost 10 minutes to get my food. The packet smelled like vomit. It absolutely ruined my appetite. Please never go here.

I think the management is now changed and the restaurant’s concept is not Doner anymore. It’s more like an Indian restaurant with Turkish menu. Spices in their couscous and potato are totally different. Not garlic, but mostly taste like butter and tomato sauce with heavy spices. Their method of serving is now different. It was just not the usual Mr Zagros as last year. Their portions are changed to a very smaller amount. They put lots and lots of sauce to make you get filled. But it does not work! They over charge you (I’m talking $20 for a tiny portion) It was so disappointing

This location is a total disappointment. The service is so slow. It's only the guy who's working, he took orders, the cashier and preparing the foods. The 2 ladies are just wasting their time standing and doing nothing. The line up was long but the older lady just doing nothing, walking back and forth, slicing meat here and there which is totally not necessary. One customer stormed back as her food is burned. After 30mins, out foods were handed to us, but the taste is just as disappointing as the service.. I feel bad for the guy as he is really trying his best to cater the people..but the two ladies? Doesn't even care to help out. Sorry, but I will not come back to this location..Bad service..bad foods.

Painfully slow service. Sometimes seems under staffed, other times the staff obviously doesn't care about a customers time. Laughing, joking while move with zero urgency. Nobody wants anyone to run around but anything is better than the pace they move at in this location. The Woodbridge location is fantastic food and service, total pros.

For lunch or for dinner they have fresh flavourful food! Tonight for dinner I tried something different. I usually go for the chicken shwarma wrap, which I LOVE! But... a man on my last visit said I have to try the Ishkender. It did NOT disappoint. It was spicy and creamy and delicious! The workers are always friendly and incredibly generous in their portion sizes. I love their food and tonight like every other time was amazing!

Update: they just increased some prices on the menu. Some up by 20% such as the Zagros Mixed Plate from 19.99 to 23.99. That is some inflation. They also switched takeout containers which to me seem smaller. That is your shrinkflation. Service is still good but the value has gone. The bread was also different today. It wasn’t the usual flaky laffa but more like a pita bread. It will be a long while before I visit again. Great place to grab dinner for the family. Portion sizes are generous and priced well. You can’t go wrong with the Zagros mixed plate or the beef shawarma plate. Don’t forget the fresh bread made in-house. It’s the best part.

I have been going to this restaurant for a while and everything was great, their service was great and employees were very polite , food was very good and fresh and I usually go to this restaurant for my lunch ao I need to go back to my job very quickly. I went to here today and the service was not just like always and Also it took a long time to prepare my food! I prefer they charge me for sauce instead of giving me bit of sauce.

Horrible place! Do not waste your money and time going there! Their debit machine was down! The ventilation system was not working! Awful foods! (Look at the photo) they charged me $26 for this piece of garbage!

This place use to be one of my favourites for dinner after a long day at work. unfortunately the last 4 times I have ordered from here, the portion size and food quality is not the same. By this photo alone (I zoomed in so EVERYONE can see) shows that this chicken was sitting outside for many hours. very horrible I don't know if they are under new management, but this is unacceptable, especially for $23 . what happened to this place?

This Mediterranean restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious shawarmas, beautiful presentation, wide variety of wraps and bowls on menu. I recommend this restaurant to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.

First time here, amazing staff everybody is so kind! Tables super clean, washroom super clean!! I got the chicken Sharma on rice and sticks, it was soo good!!! I will definitely be returning and would recommend this mom and pop feeling location to all! A+

It was three older ladies who barely spoke English and were incredibly disorganized. Everyone had to repeat what they wanted multiple times. And they still got things wrong. They had no idea what they were doing. Left wrap in the oven and forgot about it and burnt it. Avoid this location!!!

I love Mr Zagros shawarma wrap, but I ordered to day at Mackenzie location and they changed the way they prepare your wrap. I liked it when they mixed the toping on a bowl to have even sauce, now it taste different. I would recommend that they should ask the customer first if they want it mix or not. I didn’t enjoy my food today. Going to try other location next time.

Disappointing experience. Ordered 3 items, they "forgot" about the third item in the order... and then they ran out of chicken. Yet somehow the guy behind me got it... Barely tasted the chicken on the two items, it was mostly the salads and souses. Not to mention the place is expensive...

Was rudely discriminated for not being able to wear the mask. This never was a problem before. It seems the vax pass has them acting more strict for some reason. Instantly upon entering was asked to wear a mask and if we are vaccinated. I showed her my mask exemption card and advised that I do not need to answer that question since I will be getting take out. She offered to make our order and asked me to wait outside in the rain while she took my partners order. We stated we would both leave together once our food was prepared in front our eyes. She argued with us and finally agree to let us wait at the back of the store where we could see her making our food. This was so awkward and uncomfortable. I will not be coming back....

I just had an amazing dinner with my family. We order the döner sandwich, the chicken shawarma plate, chicken on the rocks, and hummus. The food came in a very reasonable portion for a very reasonable price, about 50 dollars for the whole meal. We had lots leftover. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some delicious shawarma. It’s so delicious. It wasn’t chicken it was sunshine, joy, and garlic goodness. It was like taking a bite of heaven. Anyways, service was awesome too. The ladies serving me were amicable and sweet. And the food came quickly enough for a starving man (me). Thought I wouldn’t recommend this for a date night, this is great to grab a bite at just for the delicious chicken. Also I only got a picture of leftover because we devoured the food far too quickly.

We order Zagros mixed plate. They don’t have lamb chops in stock . she said that we will put one beef shish & one chicken shish extra instead of lamb chops but when we came home and Open the food there was only one beef shish $30 order and item missing and when we called them 3 ladies spoke on call they hardly understand English and without solving the problem they hang up our phone very disappointed in professional Bad customer service

Over the past 6 months the quantity of beef and chicken has gone down a lot in the wraps! A beef or chicken wrap has very little meat and mainly filled with salad and pickles, starting to look and taste like a vegetarian wrap. I feel it's time I look elsewhere for Shawarma wraps.

The food was amazing here. They had fresh ingredients and the portion sizes are great. The owner was very lovely to speak to and was very welcoming. 10/10 experience, I will definitely be coming back :)

bought a poutine and recieved fries with chucks of cheese with two tablespoons of gravy for $7 (tax included) i picked out the cheese as they were just cubes to save for another meal cause they were huge. Not a big fan of this place at all

The food was cold and the meat was dry. We ordered a chicken shawarma and an iskandar kebab, but only the wrap was served initially. They asked for 8 more minutes for the kebab, but it took 15 minutes to arrive and the meat was old, dried, and cold, instead of what we expected.
