👍👍 Wow I love this store so much as a psychic and empath and fairy lover! The energy of the space is absolutely incredible and the woman working there was sooo helpful- she even went through each crystal on my list, helping me find them all! I was delighted to see the fae energy and the variety of book... People often mention store, felt, people, experience, ladies, feel, energy, human, love, shop,

I’ve been to the Rising Sun a few times now and have gotten several crystals, incense, candles and crystal jewelry from here. They have such a large variety of options and the ladies who own the store and work there are so kind and helpful. Every time I walk into the store I feel so much positive energy and I always leave in better spirits. Highly recommend for all your spiritual/ healing needs!

In response to the comment below, I've known Bharangi for years and have never perceived her to be a racist individual. She can be a bit standoffish at times but I brush that off. I did not know her husband was Jamaican... that is news to me 🤔 My newest worry is how these "proper" ladies will react to a non-binary customer which I should not have to. This is not a Christian Church organization and we are all incarnations within the same human species and are supposed to see each other as such. You do have to keep in mind that the majority of what we witness in the human world with our physical eyes is just the Matrix. Those white customers supposedly being favoured could just be them creating confusion trying to throw you off. I never personally felt racially "profiled" here but now this person's recent comment is making me wonder. My foremost complaint about this place, I have to say it's the lack of light and love. Ironically this is what the ladies claim to be the central focus I have kept in mind these are very dark times - Richmond Hill is becoming more dangerous as well. I excused most of strangeness during the pandemic, including the part where you had to wait in line and it often felt like they were lying... well the universe hears every lie and there's no pleasant reward for employees who consciously decieve their customers. I do think it's silly that they stil have a sign reading "stealing brings bad karma", I mean we're not in spiritual preschool. Now that the plandemic is over I do believe things should start I have been wanting to do things like energy healing, past life regression, etc. for years now. I'm pretty disappointed. All these things were being promoted before and during the year 2020, now it all just seems like false promises. In regards to the perceived discrimination, my advice would be to not avoid this shop but have the courage to confront the staff about how you really feel. A lot of people need to start doing this until they change.

Interesting vibe for sure. There’s a great selection of crystals, beeswax candles, and incense. Make sure to purify your crystals as soon as you can. I wore my newly bought rose quartz without purifying and felt extremely sick and unhappy whenever I had it on. Now in the process of purifying everything I bought there. I always say… it’s not the crystal that you have, it’s where you got it from…

The staff were so kind and loved our experience in the shop. Full of positive vibes, thought I would be there for 1/2 hours, ended up spending 2 hours there. So much to see as a newbie:) Loved it!

I usually come to Richmond Hill and pass by this place often. Today I felt like I should finally go inside and check out what they have. I checked the hours and it said it was open 10am-6pm today keep in mind it’s a Thursday around 11:30am. As I approach the door I see two ladies one blonde and one brunette standing in front of the door chatting. They looked like they worked there. As soon as I reached my hand out to open the door they say it’s closed. I said: “Really it’s closed? I just wanted to have a look.” Then they just stared at me and did not even respond or bother to tell me when it will open. So I walked away back to the bus stop. Not even two minutes later I saw the ladies go into the store. A couple minutes later a man walked out holding something…so the store was open after all. It was a really weird experience. So I headed over to the reviews page to see other people’s experience at this shop. The reviews are filled with comments about how the people working there are racist and don’t welcome people who don’t have blonde hair and blue eyes. I was shocked reading all the reviews. Those women made me feel unwanted. They didn’t make any racist comments but I was definitely not welcome in their store for whatever reason. Let’s say even it it was closed (which it was not) they could have at least told me when it will open. I never leave Google reviews but due to this experience I felt I should say something.

Soooo good place to go! I got several lovely crystals and they really bring me some inner energy. And, the adorable painting really attracts me and thanks for the guidance — it means a lot to me!

My wife visited the store in November for the first time, had no idea what she was looking for and said it took a little while for the store keeper to warm up to her. Who cares! We went back just a few days ago and I didn’t see or feel any negativity. In fact quite the opposite. People must remember that we are all human and have human feelings. We have good days and not so good days. Just because you are walking into a business doesn’t mean the shop keeper has to be “on” all the time. Give people a break, dont judge and try to maybe be kind yourself. Stores see all kinds in and out all day and it can be exhausting dealing with the public. Please remember people are human not AI robots.

I went to the Rising Sun today for the first time. Kathleen was so welcoming, she gave me so much advise about what I was looking for, and was so kind answering all my questions. I felt very honoured to have experienced such a wonderful time there. A special thank you to Joyce for such a wonderful present of your beautiful painting. I am truly thankful. I encourage everyone to experience this store for yourself :) I look forward to visiting again sometime soon! Melanie

In response to these recent come, I've known Bharangi for years and have nevee perceived her to be a racist individual. She can be a bit standoffish at times but I brush that off. I do think it's silly that they stil have a sign reading "stealing brings bad karma", I mean we're not in spiritual preschool. I feel now thar the pandemic is coming to an end things should start to go back to the way they were. There is a spa and massage chair in the back which Lori told me was closed last Sept 2021. Not sure if that was true but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. I've been wanting to do things like energy healing, past life regression, etc. Still hasn't happened yet and I'm greatly disappointed. Just because the province was under siege for 2 years doesn't mean they couldn't have made it happen. Perhaps some new people need to be hired here - more intuitive souls from the noble side who are more aware of unseen events. In regards to the perceived discrimination, my advice would be to not avoid this shop but have the courage to confront the staff about how you really feel. A lot of people need to start doing this until they change.

Please don't forget to take your shoes off at this wonderful place. You get a nice peaceful vibe when you enter, you will definitely find what you seek, or seek what finds you ; ) I was gifted a wonderful mountain painting which I will treasure. Thank you.

The rising sun has been my second home, my sanctuary, a place where I learn new things and a place where I can retreat. It is my go to place to connect with source and Energy. Bharangi has always been loving and sweet. Unfortunately a lot has changed since the pandemic. I am wondering does the rising sun still have psychic Sofia?
