Not sure if there's a way to put a 3.5 here. But anyway, gate cafe was a nice vibe. They've got some interesting food here (grill gate). We got the veggie sandwich and chicken sandwich. Both were alright, a bit too heavy on the cheese for us. The Nutella milkshake was also good, large portions so beware. The staff is friendly, although service is a bit slow. All in all a good meal, just a little heavy for our liking. It's a good vibe. Also you may want to reserve a table ahead of time.

Delicious Oreo milkshake. Also the staff are super attentive and go out of their way to show hospitality. We mistakenly ordered a sandwich and they gave it to us on the house after we told them. Great place would recommend

They had tea with different tastes and also various and very delicious cakes. They served was very well. The environment was very warm and friendly. Fahimeh the owner of Gate Cafe was also a very warm-hearted lady there.

The veggie burger 🍔 was very delicious! 🍟 was good with the sauce. Lots of drinks, burgers, pizza, dessert selection. Note: Originally, I ordered a Mushroom Cheeseburger substitute for a veggie patty and the staff said ok but ended up....it came with a Veggie Burger and I paid extra $$ with mushrooms as an add-on topping. Ridiculous. Vegetarian menu ( just a few options) Veggie burger Veggie pizza Veggie sandwich That's it.

It was our first time at the Gate Cafe. Pleasant find and would definitely recommend. Looks like they have 6 locations around the GTA. Don't hesitate to give them a try! Very nice ambience as well :). We got their Super Hot Chocolate and the Afogato ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very friendly staff and such a nice atmosphere. I felt that I am sitting in a trendy coffee shop in Tehran. They have selection of food items, burgers, pizza, etc . A comprehensive drinks menus including a large selection of specialty tea and a range of smoothies and cakes.

Conveniently located near the restaurant, this cafe has a rich hot drinks menu, tasty pastries, and a cool barista. The tea menu is pretty serious!

Very thoughtful and friendly staff - Asi was lovely. The raspberry mousse was unique and delicious. Even a coffee and cake is served beautifully. Mine was with a little rosebud. Only not so great part was my Americano, which was okay - surprised they don't offer cream with it, only steamed milk. At 6 dollars, it was more than I would pay even for a good Americano. One star deducted for no cream and too highly priced coffee

It was awkward when I got into the cafe because we didn’t know that Gate grill & Gate cafe are kind of same place😅. So which means that I can order Grill Gate’s food and Gate cafe’s coffee & dessert together 😃 I ordered the Belgian waffle with iced americano, and my friend had burger combo(forgot the name). The patty of the burger was so juicy, delicious and soft, and the fries were enough to share. I could say the combo is for 2 people like so big portions 😃 The waffle I ordered was very good, not very sweet, I loved it🥰 Servers were friendly and I was so impressed that one of them brought 2 card machines to pay separately at the same time. So well trained. The reason I deleted one star is because of the lack of dessert. :)

Had a great tea at Gate cafe! Try the mixed teas Adel makes its exceptional! Pomegranate green cleansing was amazing and tasty. 5 star customer service and friendly staff.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gate Cafe on Richmount Hill, and it was an exceptional experience. The cafe's ambiance is wonderful, and it's conveniently located right on Young Street, making it easily accessible. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the waffle with ice cream; it was absolutely outstanding and a delightful treat for the taste buds. I highly recommend this cafe for a memorable dining experience.

I tried out this café on July 27, 2023. Unfortunately on this date their fan or vent was out of order so they were unable to make a lot of the menu items. I did manage to try a few items which are included in the photos and so my rating is based off of those items. Even though I didn’t try all the items that I wanted to purchase originally, I can still happily give this establishment a five out of five rating! The food that was available was delicious. Burger was delicious. The sandwich was delicious. There were so many unique combinations of burgers and sandwiches, and the dessert menu was also something to rave about. This restaurant had great café vibes where you were able to work in the café, but also seems so nice to just go on a cute little date or a small family meal. I would definitely recommend it to others and I cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu options!

Amazing Tea, the food was good and the prices aren’t too bad. The waitress Fahineh was very kind and helpful. She suggested I have the Chai Latte and it was very good and presented beautifully. 100% would recommend

The employees here are super nice and didn’t rush us into ordering and allowed us to chat over our coffee even though the restaurant seemed busy. We got the iced mocha and latte and they made them look so pretty! We were not expecting all the toppings but we really liked them :)

Poutine w/ beef better than i ate in Montreal. Hamburger bread was crispy , beef meat juicy. Cheese could be better but fine. I would recommend the owner of this place to serve with metal knives , spoons and forks. Plastic ones looks cheap. Fries i’ sauce was tasty. They should serve the hamburgers w/ black plastic surgery gloves as it is too hard to keep your hands clean. I didnt have Turkish Coffee it is nice to see in the menu. Highly recommend this place

We ordered latte, New York cheese cake, americano, and mojito, all had good quality, the service was good, prices were reasonable, our orders cost us $30

Needed a time to myself and decided to come here. The atmosphere was so serene and relaxing. The service was great and food was so yummy. I loved the iced tea. Will definitely visit again.

The staff are indeed friendly and very accommodating. The atmosphere is chill and pleasant. But the Chai is not what I expected. It’s not their fault. But the Masala Chai I am used to (and expected here) is Indian-style Chai tea. Their Masala Chai here does not taste like Indian Chai Tea at all. So, if you want Indian-style Chai tea, check the menus and pictures carefully.

I had an amazing experience here, I honestly go to Starbucks and other coffee shops but this is the coziest place I’ve ever been to for working studying or socializing. Definitely recommend this to all coffee shop hoppers out there.
