2 adults and 2 kids. Paid 10€ entrance fee. *keep your tickets as they can also be used for gartenschaupark nord*! Well worth the money. The structures of the playgrounds are amazing. Even us parents went and had a go on everything. There were pedalos, although lo ked up presumably due to the quiet day. I assume weekends would be a lot different. There was a tree top adventure. Not sure how you get on or if you pay extra. We didn't look into it as our kids are too small anyway. Drive up to gartenschaupark nord. Good size carpark again. Great inventive playground. Bit of water play. Massive slide structure. Garden walks. Lego buildings. Great day

Expensive for its size - the town is cute though!

It's been a relaxing place. Good place for elder people and a nice spot for kids aswell. Great nature spots to have fun for the entire family.

On the whole my family and I had a nice day out there. We were particularly pleased to see dogs are banned from the site which meant our son could run around without us worrying about him standing in their muck. The gardens are nice and there are a lot of play grounds for the children. We found that most play areas are in good order though there are a few things they may want to fix. They have a big slide but maybe it would be better if they offered mats to slide on. Our main gripe was that firstly the train that takes visitors around the site was not running as it only runs on weekends and public holidays. I was surprised it didn't run during school holidays. Without it means a lot of walking which could be an issue if you are with very young children for example. I noticed also some of the food kiosks also weren't open and the peddle boats weren't available for hire. A plus is the entry price which was only €8 for two adults and a child for the day. You can bring your own food and drink in which is good. There are good car parking facilities. Another thing offered are small huts where you can spend the night, though we found the price a bit high considering it was like glorified camping. Apart from the few negatives we enjoyed ourselves and we got a lot of exercise. Recommended!

This place was amazing back in 2014 but it’s definitely on the downslope…. It was disappointing to see how unkempt it was last week. It used to look so beautiful… hopefully the paid-for areas will help get it cleaned up
