Vintage cafe is a premium, quiet and cozy cafe in Wuse, Abuja that offers about 43 kinds of coffee from all over the world, 23 teas, homemade jams and an array of delcious baked goods. This place stays true to its name as it is decorated with pictures showcasing Nigerian history and culture. At their first Coffee Tasting, We got to try two kinds of coffee, two teas, three jams and an array of pastry\baked goods. For Coffee, we had the Haitian and the Sumatra. Both coffees had a bold body and were medium roasts. The Haitian had hints of cinnamon and a sweet tobacco aftertaste which we liked. The Sumatra had this spiciness and is best enjoyed without any cream or sugar. For tea, we had the Caramel and Chocolate. Both were soothing, calming and would be a nice cuppa to have before bedtime. For jam, we had the Passion fruit, Jalapeno and Tomato jam. The Jalapeno had an interesting texture and tasted really good. It paired nicely with most of the pastry we were served. What really was fascinating was how the cafe was able to convert a staple Nigerian stew ingredient (Tomato) into a delcious jam that gives Strawberry a run for her money. For pastry, we tried about 10 but these are some of our favorites: their moist carrot cake, decadent lemon cake, Mexican Conchas, Waffle with Honey Sriracha sauce and Bagel with tomato cream cheese. Whenever you visit make sure to try the Bagel with the tomato cream cheese and thank us later. The Coffee Tasting was an intimate and amazing experience. The owner of the cafe spoke so passionately about the different kinds of coffee, teas, jams and pastry available at the cafe. We were entertained by a guitarist who even took song recommendations and of course, we can't forget the singing Chef which was a nice touch. We also got to smell some of their homemade tea. The Blood Orange Vanilla smells absolutely divine and it needs to be a candle. Lastly, we all got Loyalty cards and we became a part of the Vintage Cafe family.

One of the best places to come and read a book or prepare for an exam. They have a very good selection of coffee, tea and other beverages. The atmosphere is very welcoming and they play really nice music to add to the cool and warm ambience. There is a sitting space outside of you feel like having a talk in the outdoors or just want to have a quick smoke. The parking space is not fantastic, bit it is sufficient. Just come early, park and plan to leave late. The food is fine, not much to pick from but they stay true to the coffee shop brand. They have a few sandwiches and nice pastries. You must try the banana bread and ice-cream combination. I highly recommend this spot.

One word to describe this place - amazing! I absolutely love how Vestar caters for all coffee needs. The space itself is well located and you can smell the coffee as you walk in. Quite something when you visit for the first time. The menu is diverse and you can select pastries to accompany your preferred beverage. The suya panini was delectable and filling. Had the chocolate milkshake as well as it tasted good. Asides from the food and aesthetics, the cafe is a nice spot to work out of. The customer service is really good too.

I liked this cafe! This is a nice quiet and laid back spot to get work done. I spent well over 6 hours doing work there and no one bothered me or gave looks. Of course I patronized their business so if you're going to spend a lot of time there, plan to buy somethings. It's only fair given they provide free WiFi and such a comfortable environment. The Vintage Cafe was nice and cozy. It's tucked away in a quiet corner in Wuse. It didn't particularly stand out as vintage in aesthetics as I expected it too. The staff were great and friendly, very attentive. The cafe music was soothing and needed. The prices are fair for your typical Abuja cafe.

Vestar Coffee seemed a very nice, cool place to be at. I liked the character of the lady behind the counter. I can't remember what I got, but I think it was chocolate and some cake, which tasted really nice. You can stay here and work a little bit — personal work — with little noise if you're lucky enough.

A go to place, for your home made teas, 53 different kinds of coffee...OMG!!!. Exotic cakes, and great other stuff from the vintage cafe bakers, home made greek yogurt, great books, and very cosy atmosphere...plus the area is just so stress and hassle free, beyond serene. Don't forget to try their mouth watering dishes too like "Linguine and shrimp/olive oil" and "Portuguese rice and chicken", try their "Mixed berry and banana smoothie" too. You must go back their once you try.

Discovered this amazing space about 2 months ago, they serve really nice coffee along with snacks to compliment the coffee eg; donuts, croissant, cake etc. The customer service is very good and efficient. If you want to have a coffee and do some work, or have a meeting this is a good place to visit.

This has a really nice vintage aesthetic and ambiance. It also doubles as a work station/work space, so you will see a lot of people working on their computers and enjoying the ambiance. It has a very pungent scent of fresh brewed coffee. You can go there with friends and kids to have smoothies, coffee or pastry. I love smoothies, so I had mango dream the first time and some weeks later, I told them to recommend any smoothie for me and they gave me sunshine flush, it was really sweet. Then I’ve also had one other smoothie (can’t really the name), carrot cake and banana cake. I really recommend carrot cake and mango dream smoothie.

It’s a really nice Cafe, you’ll definitely run into a lot “twitter folks” here if that’s your type of thing. The ambience is beautiful and the jazz music always playing in the background helps with whatever creative work I’m doing at the time. It’s a good place to get some work done and meet people at the same time.

The atmosphere in vestar is amazing, cool, soft music and great smell. The hot chocolate at vestar is the best you can get in Lagos. Its very accessible in a very serene environment. Their staff are polite and always smiling. Vestar has great confectionary options too from cake to cookies, burger, coffee and hot chocolate. Energy drinks are available too

Excellent!! Atmosphere was super serene, decor is tasteful and authentic... I loved the carved side tables made from tree trunks. The build-your-own Breakfast was wonderful: omelette, sausages, turkey bacon and waffles (just a bit short on the baked beans serving). I had the Frappucino; overflowing with delicious whipped cream and caramel... perfect! My companions each had a spiced pumpkin latte and banana berry smoothie... the report was also fab!!! We were given samples of delicious pastries by the owner Sophia, all tasty and freshly baked. The Banana bread was so moist and delicious. The Tuna empanada was absolutely divine: the pastry was so flaky and light I could have eaten 10 more! And the chumchurri sauce, hmmm, also homemade, was muy delicioso... Thank you guys. 5 stars plus! I will be back: again and again!

Great ambience, great customer service, timely fulfillment of order and moderately priced menu. They have the largest selection of home made tea I have seen in the whole of Abuja. The place is cozy and vintage is style. They have an out door sitting section. The indoor section is always subdivided making provision for groups, couples and individual sitting arrangements. They hygiene level is great, as your coffee is made in open for you to appreciate the neatness. They have parking space inside the premise, but you can also park by the road-side, which is also safe. The food taste good even though I was not impressed with the presentation of the English Breakfast. This place is highly recommended for cafe lovers.

If you’re someone who likes places with calm ambiences either to work, read or even have meetings over a meal, then I would recommend this Cafe. It is hidden, cozy and quite spacious(I had initially expected a smaller space, going by their instagram) I liked that we received a warm reception on arrival. We weren’t even ready to make an order on arrival, but the waitress kept coming back by the minute!! I had to ask her to go and I would let her know when we were ready, she still came back even before I did as I said😂 when I asked, she said the manager said she should come and find out if everything was okay, lol. Well, that’s to let you know how great their customer service is. I love the furniture choices here as well, gives you the actual vintage vibe. You would also get nice pictures here too if you’re a shutterbug 😉 I was a bit indecisive as to what to have, so the waitress advised that I go with the day’s special which was French Dip Au Jus. I had the French Dip Au Jus with the Strawberry yoghurt and Agave smoothie. I would rate the meal a 6 out of 10. The prices of food and drinks are quite on the average, not exorbitant. In all, this is a pretty cool spot, I would recommend.

I had to ask if the muffin was honey cornbread, for the sake of my unsophisticated palate (see below and response from Vespar [turns out updating one’s review removes the response from the owner. They were very nice about it anyway]), and the barista vehemently indicated that it wasn’t as if he knew my previous struggles. Their sandwiches and melts remain great. ——— Previous review: Three stars because I believe I had one of the worst muffins of my life over here. I was regretting it hours later and the memory still haunts me. Otherwise, it’s a nice enough place. Their Suya melt (? Sandwich? Toastie?) is quite nice and gives me hope that not everything on their menu is like that muffin.

This is definitely the best spot I’ve been to in Lagos. Easily gives you a Starbucks vibe. All the staff are extremely friendly.
