Chilled , child friendly . Visited on a Sunday noon with my family. Their prices are quite affordable , service is superb . Kenny attended to us and he was really attentive. The platter for two is quite large, I’ll recommend you think again before ordering if you don’t have a large appetite . We had to take away some portion as my husband and I couldn’t finish ours . The juice is cool for the afternoon . Overall we got value for our money and would recommend to anyone who wants to try seafood in Lagos .

Ocean basket is your go to for anything seafood. I had prawns and rice but didn't expect that the prawns would come with the shells, I would have preferred them out, making it easier to eat. Their service is great, overall.

Very nice place for sea foods. Staffs are welcoming. Their foods are testy and enough in Quantity. Seating arrangements are good and following social distancing instruction. They took enough safety measures.

In my own opinion, this is the best seafood restaurant in Lagos. They’ve got everything!! The food is amazing 🤩 The drinks? On par Very clean environment. The table covers are changed after each guest. The ambience is perfect, they had this background music thing going on. It was very soothing. I had the platter for two, which is actually a lot. It included mussels, prawns, fish, calamari rice and chips. Then I had a strawberry cocktail. It tasted amazing. Great customer service. I would recommend 100%

Ocean Basket was really nice. The atmosphere was serene and quiet. A perfect sunday hangout for single or double dates😍❤ and of course, it's the season of love❤. I had white fish, calamari, prawns, chips, fried rice😂 and of course, my milkshake😋

3 hours n my order wasn't served excuse.. there was a mistake in d order no apologies they just charged my Man for his meal amd opened the door for us to go....lol. i practically just went to watch him.eat.... They have a very very polite and courteous staff, and an Instagram photo worthy(simple yet pretty) decor. The food is great, the menu is mostly sea food(so if you don’t like sea food, it’s not for you). It’s an altogether great place to dine in Lagos.

So my friends and I decided to check out Ocean basket in Victoria Island.. It was pretty amazing. We got the platters to share.. The food was nice, but I didn't like the fish. Apart from that, it was splendid

Visited this place on Jul 1, 2023 around 1pm, the waiter kept offering the yellowtail fish and chip, but I insisted for Famous fish and chip. He brought in a fish and chips with yellow sauce.on the top. I didn't check the receipt and just found out at home that it was Yellowtail fish. The fish was ok, the sauce was not. I felt cheated! But to be fair the creamy seafood soup was good.

What else can i say but wow! I was so impressed by the customer service, the ambience, the food was so good and fresh. The server, Segun was very polite and warm. The food pricing was $$$ but definitely worth every penny. Their drinks were just as nice Overall I 100% recommend.

I had the Kingflip fillet and Crumbed prawn tails and I enjoyed them. My drink tasted watered down. I like how calm the setting is but the interior space needs a bit of maintenance.

The food was really good enjoyed my platter, welcome bread was tasty although you could tell it was microwaved so by the time I wanted to eat it was going hard. Had a strawberry daiquiri which was good too. Although what I found weird was the waiter made me transfer my cocktail and water bill to his personal account. I questioned it but he said he would use cash to pay it? I knew it was a scam but had no choice as I was alone and needed to leave. Would go back again but not alone to avoid being scammed.

Service was fast. The food was also nice. We ordered for the platter for 2 and it was more than enough for my partner and I. Wait time for food was about 30mins. Modern, upscale seafood restaurant. Held a big family hangout there over the New Year holiday. Decent parking space. Courteous staff. Good COVID19 protocols. Excellent, tasty sea food menu, with good complimentary dishes. Waiter took good care of us (Amaka, she did not disappoint😃). A bit pricey, minor service delays, but worth the experience. Desserts were delicious. Some of the cocktail drinks can be improved. I'll definitely come back.

I tried to enjoy my meal here yesterday, but it wasn't fantastic! It wasn't as out of the world as the first time I ate here on December 22 2017. I also wish the village salad wasn't so wet. It looked like soup by the time we were halfway in. The green peppers were sliced too thin and so it was hard to pick up with my fork. The fried rice? It could have tasted better. The calamari, mussels, and prawns tasted real good. The fish tasted bland and I wished I had some seasoning powder to sprinkle on it. I enjoyed my pink lemonade. The fresh mint leaves in it made it very refreshing! I also tried the strawberry daiquiri mocktail and it was so excellent, far better than the pink lemonade.

Nice place. I really loved the rooftop view. The waiters are courteous and professional. Nice meal too. I visited on Valentine's Day, the place was full. We had to wait for an hour before we got our food but we were given a complementary bread and sauce while we waited. My friend and I had - Calamari 3 ways and the Platter for one. The fish in my platter was quite salty The mocktail was my highlight, really tasty. Also there was a 10% VAT charge on everything we got. I would love to visit again so I'd compare and see if the rush caused the poor taste.

The place was nice, ordered the paella rice and it was good, I really loved the calamari 3 ways my sister ordered. The fish was so so tender. However for some reason I didn’t like the chips. Prices start at about N3800 upwards.

First time there in ages,formerly a regular haunt. Still the same charming ambience and 'by the sea ' aura- it's actually really close to the seaside, very near former Bar Beach (which is sadly no more,having all been reclaimed to make room for 'Atlantic City '). Very quiet today,with just one other customer, which was probably convenient for them,as a training seminar for staff seemed to be going on;we were almost afraid they were closed as we stepped in, but were assured that they were actually open. Service was a little slow,we had to wait almost an hour before our order (Salmon Platter sushi,takeaway) was ready, which might have had something to do with limited staff being available on account of the seminar. I hope their morale hasn't been (too) dampened by this present economy, which must have affected patronage negatively and dented frequency of custom. Dish was tasty!
