Incredible place for kids. We rented one of the Duinhuisjes and they were very spacious and equipped with nice floor heating. Also there was a nice bathtub. In front of the house there was a little playground, super handy to leave the kids play in front of the house. There is a shed for your bicecles and the price is unbeatable. Very close to the beach and personnel is extremely friendly. Plus very cool additional playgrounds around. One can park its car also very close to where you live.

Positive :Good and cheap camping place. Good for family. And a lot of toilets, play area for children. Also near to the beach..but 11pm the whole village is close. Negative : every 10 minutes is passing by. Kinda loud. The power socket adapter is expensive 15 euro.. Better bring one coz normal power socket don't fit..

EXCELLENT camping/glamping/recreational area. My family of 5 had plenty of space in our cabin to spread out and relax. We enjoyed the on-site indoor pool and restaurant. There’s a Lidl about 15 minutes walk through the village of you forgot something. On-site, there’s a vending machine with snacks and essentials (toiletries, etc) for easy 24hr access. The beach is a short walk from the property. The beach access is expansive with a lot of room to walk, wade, or just take in the Dutch sunset. Check-in was easy—if you’re arriving after 5pm, just let them know and they’ll put your stuff in an outdoor safe (they’ll provide a code). My kids enjoyed the two playgrounds near our cabin. Most impressive thing: this place is affordable! Way cheaper than booking a hotel in Amsterdam or trying to manage something more complicated. This place will be our go-to when life gives us the chance to visit The Netherlands!

Great camping ground. The people at the reception are very nice. They have got a fridge to put your food so that it can stay cool. There is a bakery, a pool, a great beach, a snackbar and also programs for children. We had a wonderful time here. Everytime again. The beach was a bit too crowded, but that was probably because of the covid crisis.

Nice camping and verry clean facilities

Let me start with I stayed for weeks in a Dune house it's very spacious well equipped and even a nice little welcome bag with small cleaning supplies. Your within a 10 minute walk to shopping in 3 directions and a great fry snack bar even closer. Now for the not so good their welcome letter and map are very hard for non Dutch speaking folks I would highly recommend they look into providing one since I have highly recommend this place to fellow Americans. The second problem is the gate they say you can ring someone but no one responds and it's supposed to open at 6:30am but doesn't until 7:00am I'm not sure why since you have to have a card to get it and out why you can not come and go as you need. I think they should look at fixing this situation I was stuck after needing medical care in the night unable to get back to my rental til 7am.

Everything you need for a family camping

We were camping, the site was good, with decent facilities and even a swimming pool. Only down side was they didn't warn us the gates close at 11pm so we had to call the emergency number to let us in. It transpires the swimming pool pass would let us in, but no-one told us this!

Spend one night here in fall. Good located to bike in the nord- or zuidduinen. Nice places at the beach at the Katwijk Boulevard at the beach. Campsite itself was ok. Facilities a little bit old and shabby but clean. Friendly staff, great wifi. Arrival starts at 11:00am (we had to wait 90min. even in low season) CampCards accepted.

Very good for families, summer period recommendation

1 star for the beach nearby. When you rent a house for over 1600€ a week you would expect a grill, a proper oven, a laundry and wifi for example. Can you believe that you have to pay an extra 5€ to go with your laundry wash it at the other end of the park… it seemed totally normal to the reception staff who didn’t see what was wrong about it. Not speaking about the non existent decorations. There are for sure better places for that price, really disappointing

You definitely pay for the beach here, not the quality of the accommodation. We had a ‘Dune House’, for 6 people, for which you pay 1600€+ in high season. The furnishings are all geared towards efficiency/durability. As a result, the houses lack charm. Wifi and laundry machines are also not included in the price and have to be paid extra. The house was quite dark on rainy days, not enough windows. There was a persistent bad smell from the maintenance room and basically no sound isolation. Of course the location is wonderful, but at this price point we were hoping for more.

I arrived exactly on closing time. Still got everything we needed for our one night Stay. Staff was super nice. There is a small Bakery/Store selling Breakfast items in the morning. 500m to the Beach. Would recommend!

Good campsite in a great location with a stunning beach very nearby. The camping ground can get really quite muddy when it rains but this was literally the only downside.
