The
exterior
of
the
hotel
was
nice
with
a
private
beach
and
a
well-kept
pool.
However,
I
was
very
disappointed
and
disgusted
with
the
rooms.
Firstly,
when
we
arrived
approximately
6:30
P.M.,
the
office
was
closed
and
the
staff
were
no
where
to
be
found.
The
security
delivered
our
keys
to
the
rooms.
The
room
was
on
the
second
floor
and
the
door
was
extremely
difficult
to
open.
Within
the
room,
the
bedrooms
were
up
another
flight
of
spiral
stairs.
In
the
living
room
area,
there
was
a
sofa
chair,
which
was
in
horrible
condition
and
the
stove
top
was
extremely
rusty
could
not
be
used.
We
were
afraid
of
sitting
on
the
sofa,
as
matter
of
fact,
we
did
not
sit
on
the
sofa.
It
was
very
difficult
for
me
to
move
around
because
of
a
medical
condition
with
my
feet.
Therefore,
stairs
are
extremely
difficult
for
me
to
go
up
and
down.
Because
there
were
no
staff
to
assist
us,
the
security
told
me
I
had
to
make
do
until
the
following
day.
The
bedrooms
had
a
damped
and
moldy
smell
and
the
bed
linens
very
discolored.
The
night
was
uncomfortable
with
dust
blowing
in
my
eyes
with
a
filthy
fan
and
a
bedside
lamp
filled
with
pure
dust.
The
next
day
when
the
office
opened,
I
met
with
one
of
the
staff,
Mr.
Thompson.
He
was
very
courteous,
apologized
and
offered
another
room.
This
was
room
8,
and
a
tad
better,
however,
I
found
the
place
not
be
very
clean.
It
seems
as
if
house
cleaning
does
not
involve
dusting,
mopping
or
sweeping.
The
floor
is
tiled
but
with
all
type
of
stains
and
spot,
the
window
sills
and
curtains,
filled
with
dust.
I
was
totally
disgusted
with
the
filthiness
of
the
place.
Sunday
night,
February
23rd,
arriving
back
at
the
room,
it
was
infested
with
biting
ants
around
the
base
board
by
the
bed
and
window
sill.
I
had
to
contact
the
security
guard
for
assistance.
The
interior
of
this
hotel
rooms
needs
dire
attention
to
details.
Cleanliness
is
definitely
NOT
one
of
their
strong
qualities.
I
don’t
think
$542
for
three
nights
is
cheap
and
the
condition
of
the
room
should
be
much
better.
I
am
not
trying
to
be
difficult,
however,
not
because
Jamaica
is
considered
a
third
world
country,
we
should
behave
as
if
we
cannot
do
better.
I
think
this
hotel
because
of
the
location,
management
can
do
a
lot
better
for
the
interior
as
good
as
how
the
exterior
represents.
The
place
is
like
a
whitewashed
sepulcher.
Very
disappointed,
will
not
recommend
to
anyone!
