Arroyo De Deportes Park

Park

👍 A beautiful park with plenty of space for people to spread out and enjoy their activities. There is the downside of people walking their dogs off leash though... had 3 wander up to the small picnic I was having with friends all begging for scraps. People often mention park,

I love this park. I noticed that it has many names. Parsons, and something else. This is like a ball field park for soccer, baseball, etc, also has skate park, doggy park, walking track or running.. 2 see people pull out mats and do sit ups, oh and there's tennis courts... nice park..

Arroyo DeDeportes Park is one of the most used and most enjoyable parks in Rio Rancho. Fortunately it's less than one mile from our house. It has a lot to offer with Tennis Courts, Baseball Fields, Skateboard Park, a huge multi use grass area for soccer, lacrosse and playing Frisbee. There's a Doggie Park and a walking track around the grass field that's exactly one mile around. One thing it is lacking is public toilets and wash rooms.

I love this facility! There are plenty of places for children to play and they have a variety of baseball/softball fields. It's centrally located in Rio Rancho. They have actual bathrooms with running water which is plus in my book.

Except for the CUCKLEBURS on the edge of the large grass field it is a great place to walk your dog. Bring waste removal bags as they are NOT provided.

Plenty of open grass where youth sports leagues play football and soccer. Has a couple baseball fields and a skate park. The tennis courts are in great condition and the dog park has an active community.

Be careful of car break ins on the west side parking lot near the dog park and tennis courts. There have been a couple recently and one today where a woman's passenger window was smashed and her purse stolen. Don't leave items in your car! Put them away in the trunk.

Nice place, parking was really packed and hard finding a space. Exiting was a nightmare. I suggest arriving early and leaving the same.

Nice area. Cleanup after your dogs. Don't ruin it for others.

👍 disc golf review only. 9 holes. short course ~24 minutes to play it all. 1 hole over 400 and a few over 300. bring a midrange disc. OB is generally the road or someones back yard with a brick fench. hole 3 and * is near play park so might have to wait a few minutes for the kids to clear away....
