Beautiful views, great bars and even a cool DJ. The line was absolutely insane, but you can bypass it completely for a price (think 6 flags fast pass). Definitely worth the stop and the cost! Enjoy!

Long lines for a ticket, close to 2 hrs wait. Nice views and a good place to visit. Ticket was R$ 150.00.

Really unique and beautiful experience. Worth it 100% and I think it was my favorite experience here in Rio. The cable car holds up to 65 people and is continuously running. We didn’t have to wait in line at all to get up to the top. Once at both spots you have ample time to take in the best views in Rio in my opinion. There are ton of little cafes and places to purchases drinks to enjoy the view even more. Make sure to go on a clear day. Pictures do not do it justice. Enjoy!

Magnificent views!! A must visit while in Rio. Make sure you purchase the ticket that includes going all the way to the top. Get the refreshing açaí bowl and grab a seat admiring 360 degrees scenery at the very top. There are tons of jack fruit growing along the gondola trail and native monkeys abound. James Bond 007 Moonrakers was filmed here.

The view from the top is amazing, but the people is selfish and rude with senior’s and children’s on the line, some people from other countries don’t understand that in Brazil we give priority for disable, mothers with children’s young children’s and seniors, and they are rude, they thinking we are cutting in line, my mother is 69 years old and I have to accompany her in line as senior and some people don’t understand Brazilian culture and get mad, please before go to Brazil do some research, or any other country, I learned to deal with American culture and btw I still strongly at times, overall the sugarloaf is awesome and it has an amazing view from the top.

I purchased the fast pass option and it was well worth the extra expense for front of the line service, lounge and a few other perks. The views and rides are amazing and worth the time. I highly suggest the bar/cafe on the backside of the mountain for a break, views, and great coffee.

The Parque Bondinho Pão de Açúcar in Rio de Janeiro is a fantastic tourist destination. With stunning views of the city, the beach, and the famous Copacabana beach, the cable car journey is unforgettable. The ascent offers unique aerial experiences, and the view from the top is breathtaking, especially during sunset. It's an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Rio from above and create memories that will last for many years.

This is the place where one can visit Sugar Loaf mountain. To get to the top one has to take 2 cable cars 🚡 🚠 At the top there are a few places to buy food (e g. Coffee ☕️ ice cream 🍦). The views of Rio from the top are fabulous and worth the journey up to the top. I remembered the 1979 Janes Bond film 'Moonraker' had scenes in Brasil and involved a cable car 🚡 I saw the cable car from the film on my way down. It is marked with a sign. The afternoon I visited was wet and dull. It seems one can visit when it is dark but, I presume, the views would be limited. A very worthwhile outing when visiting Rio de Janiero 😀 👍👌

Nice place, a lot better than Christ statue. Not so crowded and vies are great. Also there are some other things to see, there are some routes to walk around. And at the top you may eat for not so huge money as I expected.

A must place to visit. Amazing view. The place has stores, cafes, restaurants... So it makes it a very good place to chill and watch the view. A helicopter ride to sight see can be taken from there.

Best thing to do in Rio, way better than Christ the Redeemer, less crowded you can spend more time walking around and there's shops and bars.

Of course this is an iconic sight, which has to be on every Rio itinerary. Come prepared though. We had tried to book tickets online weeks in advance, but somehow all of our credit cards were denied. Visiting on a Sunday morning then required a lot of patience. 4 lines for entrance - waiting time for us was almost two hours. Most of the space has no shade, so bring enough sunscreen and a hat. Water, ice and some snacks are sold in the waiting area. Tours and online tickets have priority of course. Also note, that after the first station you have to change to the other cable car, where there was another 30 min wait. The view and experience on the top is of course incredible, but everything around was quite exhausting. The standard entrance fee for foreigners is 150 reales, reductions for students available.

Great tourist spot, would definitely recommend. We went off season and I would suggest off season as the queues weren’t bad and you could see more. It is definitely worth going, it’s has beautiful views of Rio

Great experience, expensive food and a bit of waiting queues. The typical touristic spot we love.
