Butcher! He's got 3 lawsuits and various complaints at the Medical Board in Brazil. Look what he did to my hands! I had thin hands and asked for a fat transfer. He messed it up!!! Put in fat so my hands swelled up, stretched out all the skin and NONE OF THE FAT LIVED. (40% to 80% always lives if DONE RIGHT!) But he cant even do that right! So my skin stetched out and now i have sheets of wrinkles I never had before..ugly ugly hands and you cannot hide your hands! Stay away from this nightmare. Read the reviews -- he's got lots of terrible reviews! Beware

I am a physician who decided to travel to Brazil for a facelift and liposuction with Dr. Alexandre Charao. Dr. Charao is fluent in English, has excellent bedside manner, and is a very skilled surgeon. The result was excellent for both procedures, and his whole team gained my respect in the process. It was well worth the trip to Brazil, and I will likely use Dr. Charao again when it becomes necessary.

I had a very wonderful experience getting my dreams to become true and most gratitude goes to Dr. Charao and his crew, Iara, Mari, Inês, and Marília. They were so helpful, friendly, professional, transparent, and answered all my questions carefully. I live in the USA (MA) and the process was simple to get done, all exam requests came in and I was able to work with my primary care. I breastfed my daughter for almost 3 years and it resulted in low self-esteem. 8 years later, I decided to take care of myself and I asked for a recommendation from my sister-in-law, she presented me to Dr. Charão’s Instagram’s and I learned so much about the procedures I intended to get done. She also connected me with Dr. Charão’s office in RJ (Brazil) and learned that our uncle did a procedure with the same doctor and he is very satisfied with the results. The experience as a whole was great. Badim hospital was very clean, organized, and had a very friendly staff. It was a quick surgery and the recovery is being great so far. When I headed back home I still had Dr. Charao and his staff’s support remotely. I love the new version of me every time I look in the mirror. I a near future I will return for more procedures and I already recommended him to my friends. Best decision I made was to trust Dr.Charao and his staff. Forever will be grateful!

I went to Rio to meet Doctor Alexander Charao for a butt implant removal and a BBL. Beside the great resume Doctor Alexander has, what really got my attention is the fact he worked abroad doing a lot of reconstruction surgeries. I was very nervous how I will look after implant removal, since I did not want to put a new one. I had a lot of concerning questions and very nervous , but Doctor Alexander was very straight forward and honest with me on what exactly he could do, and what I should or not expect. He did not try to tell me what I wanted to hear but was very honest. It became obvious to me he was a professional doctor I could trust. He has a full team who are amazing, they were available 24/7 through a direct number I could use on WhatsApp. They were very patient with me even when I was getting nervous the day before surgery. They are kind, very qualify people who most of them speak English and understand how to handle and reassure foreigners customers like me. Doctor Alexander speak many languages, I know at least he speak Portuguese, French and English as I am French myself. I am a month and half pro surgery and I am very happy how my body is healing and look. Even though I am back in the USA, Doctor Alexander Charao keep checking up on me making sure I am healing well. I will highly recommend him, if you are nervous or unsure about your next procedure, stop worrying and get in contact with him, he will make sure you understand fully where you at and what he can do for you. I had the best experience ever! Dr Alexandre and his crew showed great professionalism from the first met. My body is wonderful even with just 28 days and I can see incredible results. Bearing in mind that I had come in contact and needed an urgent response, they catered to my needs and arranged everything with utmost professionalism. The team is amazing, providing all of types of care and attention that is necessary, going above and beyond to ensure comfort and liability. The Dr is nothing less than all of his references, if not more than what is required of him professionally, with his secretary that exceeds in her hospitality and organisation so that I had few doubts and things to worry about during my time with them. I am so lucky to have found Dr. Alexandre. He and his amazing team have changed my life forever. I wanted for years to get my nose done. He and his team put me at ease since this was my first surgery ever. I dot my nose slimmer, lifted, to the small bone off so my side profile is my straight and my nostrils reduce.... it’s a difference small enough to not look like I’ve had surgery down but big enough to have changed me forever. I’m so pleased with my new nose and my mother and I are planning to go back next year for her to do some other surgeries! My friend wants to come as well. 10/10 would highly recommend
