A nice stopping place in Joshua Tree park for an easy loop trail walk for the entire family. The rock formations are beautiful and unique, including the Cap Rock. Plan on taking some time here to relax and unwind. Itโ€™s one of the few stops in the park that has public restrooms and plenty of parking, also!

Nice, quick stop on our trip to Joshua Tree. They have a short mile loop you can walk to check out all of the different rock formations. Worth the quick stop on your trip.

One of the spots in Joshua Tree National Park where you can park and walk around. There is a bathroom here and some trails. Cantilevered rocks are pretty

What an incredible place this is. We were here in the middle of August, and it was obviously hot, but we started before 7am and had plenty of water, and it was beautiful!

Cap Rock, located within Joshua Tree National Park, is a truly awe-inspiring and one of the best natural formations in the park. Its stack of rocks is nothing short of breathtaking, and one can't help but be struck by the sheer wonder of how these stones have come to be so perfectly arranged. I would highly recommend a visit to this location, and for those seeking a truly memorable experience, I would suggest taking in the sunset from this vantage point. The 360-degree views of the park provide a stunning canvas upon which the wide range of colors of the sunset can truly shine and delight the senses.

I had an amazing time at Cap Rock in Joshua Tree, California. The natural beauty of this place is simply breathtaking, and it's impeccably clean. I had the opportunity to go rock climbing, which was so much fun! I highly recommend this spot for both the stunning scenery and adventure seekers.

Amazing the way the rocks have been formed. This environment is harsh and it's plant and tree have the ability to survive.

Lovely little loop trail, great for easygoing non-hikers but also great for anyone who appreciates the beautiful of a desert landscape and ecosystem

Only stopped to look closely at rock formations and eat. There is a small picnic table. Was surprised to see this piece, which looked like a huge head of an ultrasound baby pic! Walked only a little on a flat trail to read signage about the area.

It's a must stop if you have young kids. It's a very easy trail, and has nice photo spots. I wish the park could put one more restroom stall there. The cap rock parking still has plenty of spaces at 10 am(on a weekday during winter break)
